Von der Behandlung von Patienten mit

Herzschrittmachern oder Defibrillatoren wird

abgeraten, da diese durch die Ultraschallschwin-

gungen der EMS-Produkte in ihrer Funktion gestört

werden können.

Die hier beschriebenen Piezon-Instrumente

dürfen nur mit dem EMS Piezon Master Surgery

verwendet werden.

EMS recommends not to treat patients who

have a cardiac pacemaker or a debrillator with this

product. Their functioning may be affected by the

high frequencies of the ultrasonic oscillations.

This range of Piezon instruments must only

be used with an EMS Piezon Master Surgery unit.

RECOMMANDATIONS

GENERAL HINTS

Always use the handpiece with the nose cap

installed and check that it is correctly tightened.

Always sterilize handpieces and instru-

ments before use. Non-sterile handpieces and

instruments may cause bacterial or viral infec-

individuel. Elle permet un assemblage respectant

sécurité contre les blessures et la contamination.

ATTACHING THE INSTRUMENTS

Blow dry the connector to remove any liquid

and to ensure a proper electrical contact. Never

blow compressed air in the irrigation connections

as this will irremediably damage internal parts.

Only use the blue CombiTorque to tighten

the EMS instrument on the handpiece to the correct

torque. Once the instrument is screwed all the way

in, give an extra quarter of a turn to obtain the

required torque.

The EMS CombiTorque combines a torque

wrench and an individual le holder. It ensures

an installation according to specifications, an

organized storage and a safeguard against injuries

or contamination.
