Audio source input (AUX IN)
1. Connect anexternal audio source to the3.5mm input socket (19) on theback of theradio.
2. Selecting anaudio source: Press [ MODE ] repeatedly until “Auxiliary Input” appears on thedisplay.
3. Start playback on theexternal audio source.
4. Adjust thevolume to adesired level.
Information
If theradio is set to “Auxiliary Input” for over four hours, thedevice shuts down automatically.
1. 10 minutes after thedevice shuts down “Press MENU/INFO to cancel auto off” will appear
on thedisplay.
2. Press [ MENU ]/[ INFO ] to interrupt theautomatic shut down.
Charging external devices
Connect theexternal device that you wish to charge to theUSB charge port (18) using aUSB
cable (sold separately).
Sleep timer
Set how long theradio is to be left on before it automatically shuts off. Press [ SLEEP ]
therequired number of times to choose between: Off , 10, 20, 30, 60, 70, 80 or 90 min.
Alarm
Information
• Thealarm works whether theradio is switched on or off.
• If you try to set thealarm when thetime and date have not been set, theradio automatically
enters time set mode. Refer to point 2 under the Setting the time and date section.
• When theradio is in standby mode,
is shown on thedisplay to indicate that thealarm is activated.
Setting alarm 1
1. Switch theradio on by pressing [ ].
2. Press [ ALARM ] once. “Alarm 1 Setup” will appear on thedisplay.
3. Press [ SELECT ]. “Alarm 1 Wizard” will appear on thedisplay.
4. Set thealarm by turning the [ SCROLL ] dial and confirming every step using [ SELECT ].
5. Make thesettings in thefollowing order:
- On time (alarm time): hour/min.
- Duration (alarm duration): 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 min.
- Source (alarm signal): buzzer, DAB or FM (if DAB or FM radio is chosen, you will be
prompted to select aradio station).
- Choose when thealarm is to sound: Daily , Once, Weekends, Weekdays. If Once is chosen,
you will be prompted to select adate.
- Volume (alarm volume): Set thevolume you wish thealarm to reach. Thealarm signal
starts on low volume and gradually increases in volume to theset level.
- Alarm On/Off: activate/deactivate thealarm.
