Mounting instructions
1.Ställ MC:n på centralstödet och tag bort kåpan på
ramen på vänster sida.
2. Lossa stötdämparens övre och nedre fästskruv.
3. Lossa skruven som förbinder draglänkar och
dropplänk.
4. Lyft upp bakhjulet och demontera stötdämparen
nedåt.
5. Montering av öhlindämparen börjar med att föra
upp och ut gasbehållaren och hydrauljusteringen
på höger sida. (se skiss) Följ efter med dämparen.
6. Montera stötdämparens fästskruvar. Använd den
medföljande skruven (429-11) och muttern (430-
01) till fästbygeln. Montera ihop länksystemet.
7. Montera gasbehållaren med medföljande
gummin (230-01) och slangklämmor (643-02)
enligt skiss.
8. Montera hydraulförspännaren vid ljuddämpar-
fästet enligt skiss. Använd medföljande skruv
(1046-25).
9. Bind upp slangarna med buntbanden.
10. Kontrollera att alla skruvar är åtdragna och att
inget tar i när bakhjulet fjädrar in.
11. Montera tillbaka kåpan på vänster sida.
1. Put the motorcycle on the center stand and
remove the plastic cover on the frame on the left
side.
2. Loosen the upper and the lower shock mounting
screws.
3. Loosen the bolt that connects the control and
drop link.
4. Lift up the rear wheel and remove the shock
downwards.
5. Mounting of the Öhlins shock starts with pulling
out the gas reservoir and hydraulic pre load
adjuster on the right side. (See sketch.) Follow
with the shock absorber.
6. Mount the shock mounting screws. Use the
supplied bolt (429-01) and nut (430-01) for the
clevis. Remount the linkage.
7. Mount the reservoir with supplied rubbers (230-
01) and hose clamps (643-02).
8. Mount the hydraulic pre load adjuster at the
silencer bracket according to the sketch. Use the
supplied bolt (1046-25).
9. Fix the hoses with the ty-raps.
10. Check that all bolts are tightened and that there
are no clearance problems when the rear wheel is
moving.
11. Mount the cover on the left side.
