Mounting instructions
1.
Palla upp MC:n så att bakhjulet hänger fritt i luften.
Tag av sadel och sidokåporna på vänster sida.
2.
Lossa slangens buntband och klämmor. Lossa bulten
som sammanbinder triangellänk och draglänkar.
Lossa dämparens nedre fästbult.
3.
Lossa vänster fotpinneplatta och dämparens övre
fästskruv. Palla upp bakhjulet med något så går det
lättare att ta ut dämparen nedåt.
4.
Montering av Öhlinaren:
För först upp gasbehållaren och den hydrauliska
fjäderförspännaren. Montera dämparens övre
fästskruv. Montera därefter gasbehållaren i
standardfästet enligt skiss med slangklämmor
(643-02). Montera hydraulförspännaren genom att
byta ut den bakre fästskruven till hjälmlåset enligt
skiss. Använd skruv 1046-16 och bricka 153-04.
5.
Montera dämparens nedre fästskruv. Använd
medlevererade 429-15 skruv och 430-01 mutter.
Montera samman länksystemet.
6.
Bind upp slangarna med buntband 231-01.
7.
Kontrollera att alla skruvar är åtdragna och att inget
tar i när bakhjulet fjädrar in.
8.
Montera sidokåpor och sadel.
1.
Put the motorcycle on a stand so that the rear wheel
is off the ground. Remove the seat and the side
panels on the left side.
2.
Loosen the hose fasteners. Remove the bolt that
connects the triangle link and the pull rods. Remove
the lower shock mounting bolt.
3.
Loosen the left foot peg bracket and the upper shock
mounting bolt. Put something under the rear wheel
or hold it up and remove the shock absorber
downwards.
4.
Mounting the Öhlins shock absorber:
Start with pulling up the reservoir and the hydraulic
pre-load adjuster and out to the left side of the bike.
Mount the upper shock mounting bolt. Mount the
reservoir in the standard bracket with the hose
clamps (643-02) according to the sketch. Mount the
hydraulic pre-load adjuster by exchanging the rear
mounting screw for the helmet lock. See sketch and
use screw 1046-16 and washer 153-04.
5.
Mount the lower shock absorber mounting bolt. Use
bolt 429-15 and nut 430-01. Reassemble the linkage.
6.
Tie up the hoses with the ty-raps 231-01.
7.
Check that all bolts are tightened and that there are
no clearance problems when the rear wheel is
moving.
8.
Mount the side covers and the seat.
