Mounting instructions
1 Palla upp motorcykeln så att framhjulet hänger
fritt från golvet..
2 Lossa gasbehållaren.
3 Lossa och demontera nedre stötdämparskruven.
4 Använd en lång förlängare och hylsa NV22 för
att lossa övre stötdämparmuttern. OBS! Kåpan
behöver ej demonteras.
5 Lossa standarddämparen från det övre fästet.
6 Montering av Öhlindämparen:
Placera den 8 mm breda distansen och tätningen
på den övre axeln ( skruven). Montera
stötdämparen med banjoskruven pekande innåt-
nedåt. Montera den andra medföljande tätningen
och distansen samt muttern.
7 Lyft framhjulet och montera den nedre skruven.
8 Montera gasbehållaren i original fästet med
slangklammern.
9 Kontrollera att samtliga skruvar är åtdragna och
att inget tar i när hjulet fjädrar in.
1 Put the motorcycle on a stand so that the front
wheel does not touch the floor.
2 Loosen the standard gas reservoir from the
bracket.
3 Loosen and remove the lower shock absorber
bolt.
4 Use a long extender and a 22 mm sleeve to
loosen the upper shock nut. NOTE! It is not
necessary to remove the fairing.
5 Remove the standard shock from the upper
mounting (shaft).
6 Mounting of the Öhlins shock absorber:
Place the 8 mm thick spacer and seal on the
shaft. Mount the shock with the banjo bolt
pointing ”inwards-downwards”, mount seal,
spacer and nut.
7 Lift the wheel and mount the bolt.
8 Mount the reservoir in the standard bracket using
the hose clamp.
9 Check that all bolts are tightened and that there
are no clearance problems when the wheel is
moving.
