Mounting instructions
1.
Tag bort nedre delen av kåpan. Palla upp mc:n så att
bakhjulet hänger fritt i luften. Tag av sadel och
sidokåpor.
2.
Lossa bensintanken och luftburken. Lossa
dämparens fästskruvar. Börja med den nedre.
3.
Lossa slangklämmorna runt gasbehållaren.
4.
Lossa bakramens nedre fästskruvar och tag ut
dämparen uppåt.
5.
Montering av Öhlindämparen:
Börja med att sätta dämparen på plats med den övre
och nedre fästskruven. Använd medföljande skruv
och mutter (429-17+430-01) till den nedre
infästningen. Klipp sedan ur lite i plasten för att
banjoskruven inte ska skava mot innerskärmen. Se
skiss på nästa sida.
6.
Drag åt skruvarna och montera fast bakramen igen.
Montera gasbehållaren med klammer 643-02 enligt
skiss.
7.
Hydraulförspännaren monteras i det bakre
fotpinnefästet på vänster sida mellan fästet och
ramen med de medföljande skruvarna (1046-11).
Använd bricka 426-02 som mellanlägg vid den
främre infästningen om den bakre fotpinnen inte
demonterats. Bind upp slangen med buntband (231-
01).
8.
Kontrollera att alla skruvar är åtdragna och att inget
tar i när bakhjulet fjädrar in.
9.
Montera luftburk, tank sidokåpor och sadel. Montera
underkåpan.
1.
Remove the lower part of the fairing. Put the motor
cycle on a stand so that the rear wheel is off the
ground. Remove the seat and the side covers.
2.
Remove the gas tank and the air box. Loosen the
shock absorber mounting bolts. Start with the lower.
3.
Loosen the hose clamps around the reservoir.
4.
Remove the lower mounting bolts to the rear frame,
and remove the shock absorber upwards.
5.
Mounting the Öhlins shock:
Start with putting the shock in place with the upper
and lower mounting bolt. Use the supplied bolt and
nut for the lower shock mounting (429-17+430-01).
Make a cut in the plastic to make clearance for the
banjo bolt. See sketch on next page.
6.
Tighten all bolts and mount the rear frame. Mount
the reservoir with enclosed hose clamps 643-02
according to the sketch.
7.
The hydraulic pre-load adjuster is mounted in the
bracket for the rear footrest between the bracket and
the frame with the supplied bolts (1046-11). Use the
washer 462-02 at the front of the bracket if the rear
footrest not is removed. Tie up the hose with the ty-
raps (231-01).
8.
Check that all bolts are tightened and that there are
no clearance problems when the rear wheel is
moving.
9.
Mount the air box, gas tank, side covers and the seat.
Mount the lower part of the fairing.
