ALWAYS STAY ALERT AND WATCH WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
Use common sense when operating the appliance. Do not use the appliance while you are
tired, sick or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or other substances that
could affect your ability to react.
CHECK THE APPLIANCE FOR DAMAGES.
If you notice any damages in the appliance, in its guards or other parts, do not use it until it
has been repaired in an authorized service center. Check for alignment of moving parts, free
running of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting and any other conditions that may
affect the appliance operation. Damaged parts should be properly repaired or replaced by
an authorized service center unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual. Have de-
fective switches replaced by an authorized service facility. Do not use the appliance if the
switch does not turn it on and off.
USE ONLY ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES.
The use of any other spare parts or accessories than original parts may cause a risk of per-
sonal injury.
REPAIRS SHOULD ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER USING
ONLY ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS, OTHERWISE THIS MAY RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE DANGER
TO THE USER.
SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- If possible, wear designated gloves for protection from splinters and shavings.
- While working, wear designated protective goggles. Flying shavings can cause injury.

Wear ear protection when using the impact drill. Exposure to noise can cause hearing
loss.

Use auxiliary handle supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause personal injury.

Before drilling into walls, check the work area with a metal detector for hidden electric
cables and gas or water supply lines. Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may
make exposed metal parts of the tool "live" and could give the operator an electric
shock. Cutting gas lines can cause an explosion. Cutting a water pipe can cause an elec-
tric shock.

Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when there is danger that the tool may con-
tact hidden or visible wires. Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may make ex-
posed metal parts of the tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.

Hold the tool with both hands.

Disconnect the tool from power supply before changing the drill bit or maintenance.

To avoid injuries, securely attach the workpiece with a vice or a clamp.

Do not force the motor while driving and removing screws so that it turns off.

Do not handle materials that contain asbestos. Asbestos is considered carcinogenic.
Take protective measures when dust that is harmful to one's health, combustible or ex-
plosive can develop during working Some dusts are for example considered carcinogen-
ic. Wear a dust mask and work with dust extraction when it is connectable.

Wait for the complete cessation of blades before placing the unit down. The tool insert
can jam and lead to loss of control over the power tool.
