NOTE!
This shock absorber is designed to be used for
racing, only together with Öhlins kit link (3095-01) and the
standard ride hight adjuster (the top mounting) shall be in
its standard position. The bike will be approximatly 20 mm
higher in the rear compared to the standard hight.
Mounting instructions
1.
Demontera den bakre, undre delen av
kåpan. Palla upp MC:n så att bakhjulet
hänger fritt i luften.
2.
Demontera sadel och sidokåpor. Lossa
de fyra fästskruvarna till bakramen och
vik upp denna.
3.
Lossa dämparens 2 fästskruvar och
demontera dämparen uppåt.
4.
Montera Öhlinaren genom att föra ner
den uppifrån med behållaren vänd på
samma sätt som standarddämparen.
Kontrollera att det finns frigång för
fjäderrn bakåt i swingen. Beroende på
gjutningen kan man behöva slipa ur lite
för att få tillräcklig frigång.
5.
Hydraulförspännaren monteras på höger
sida enligt skiss på nästa sida. Bind upp
slangen med de medlevererade
buntbanden (231-01).
6.
Kontrollera att inget tar i när hjulet
fjädrar in och att alla skruvar är
åtdra
g
na.
1.
Remove the lower rear part of the
fairing. Put the motorcycle on a stand so
that the rear wheel is off the ground.
2.
Remove the seat and side covers.
Remove the 4 bolts to the rear frame and
lift up the rear frame.
3.
Loosen the shock mounting bolts and
remove the shock absorber upwards.
4.
Mount the Öhlins shock with the
reservoir placed as it is on the standard
shock. Check that there is enough
clearance for the spring in the swing arm
rearwards. Depending on different
castings it may be necessary to grind
away some material on the swing arm.
5.
The hydraulic pre-load adjuster shall be
mounted according to the sketch on the
next page. Tie up the hose with the
enclosed ty-raps (231-01).
6.
Check that there are no clearance
problems when the rear wheel is moving
and that all bolts are ti
g
htened.
Groove / Spår
Lock nut /Låsmutter
På denna modell finns en ändögla/bygel monterad
som är justerbar på längden.
Öglan/bygeln får ej skruvas ut längre än att spåret
blir helt synligt under låsmuttern. Se skiss. Se till
att låsmuttern är fastdragen efter justering.
This model has an adjustable end eye/bracket
mounted. The end eye/bracket must not be threaded
out more than that the groove is visible beneath the
lock nut. See fig. Make sure that the lock nut is
ti
g
htened after ad
