Mounting instructions
1. Put the motorcycle on a stand so that the rear
wheel is off the ground. Remove the seat.
Remove the gas tank (See your work shop
manual).
2. Remove the bolt that connects the triangle link
and the pull rods. Lift up the rear wheel and put
something under it.
3.Remove the lower shock mounting bolt.Remove
the upper shock mounting bolt.Remove the
standard shock.
4.Mounting of the Öhlins shock: The hose banjo on
the shock should be turned backwards. The gas
reservoir should be pulled through the frame,
over the cross bar on the left side forwards.
5.Then pull the reservoir out on the right side
according to the sketch. Mount the upper and
lower shock mounting bolts. Let the wheel down
on the floor again and mount the bolt that
connects the triangle link and the pull rods.
6. Use 231-01 ty-raps, 230-03 mounting rubbers
and 643-02 hose clamps to mount the reservoir
and the hose according to the sketch. Check that
you get enough clearance between the hose and
the clutch lever.
7.Check that all bolts are tightened and that there
are no clearance problems.
1. Palla upp MC:n så att bakhjulet hänger fritt i
luften. Tag bort sadeln och bensintanken. (Se
motorcykelns verkstadshandbok.)
2. Tag bort skruven som sammanbinder
triangelänken och draglänkarna. Lyft upp
bakhjulet och palla upp det med något lämpligt.
3. Demontera stötdämparens fästskruvar, börja med
den undre. Tag bort standarddämparen nedåt.
4. Montering av Öhlindämparen. Banjoskruven på
stötdämparen skall vara vänd bakåt.
Gasbehållaren förs uppåt framåt genom ramen,
över tvärbalken på vänster sida.
5. För ut behållaren på höger sida enligt skissen.
Montera övre och nedre fästskruvarna till
stötdämparen. Släpp ner bakhjulet och
återmontera skruven som sammanbinder
triangellänken och draglänkarna.
6. Montera gasbehållaren och dess slang enligt
skiss med hjälp av 231-01 buntband, 230-03
monteringsgummin och 643-02 slangklämmor.
Kontrollera att det blir tillräcklig frigång mellan
kopplingsarmen och slangen.
7. Kontrollera att alla skruvar är åtdragna och att
inget tar i när hjulet fjädrar in.
8. Montera bensintanken och sadeln.
Groove / Spår
Lock nut /Låsmutter
På denna modell finns en ändögla/bygel monterad
som är justerbar på längden.
Öglan/bygeln får ej skruvas ut längre än att spåret
blir helt synligt under låsmuttern. Se skiss. Se till
att låsmuttern är fastdragen efter justering.
This model has an adjustable end eye/bracket
mounted. The end eye/bracket must not be threaded
out more than that the groove is visible beneath the
lock nut. See fig. Make shure that the lock nut is
tightened after adjustment
