Thank you for purchasing this SENZ ARIA DAB+/FM radio.
Please read the instructions and warnings carefully before use, to ensure safe
and satisfactory operation of this product.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read all the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future
reference.
Check that the voltage marked on the rating label matches your mains voltage.
The unit must be placed on a flat stable surface and should not be subjected to
vibrations.
Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable surfaces as the unit may fall off or
tip over.
The mains socket must be located near the unit and should be easily accessible.
Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit well
away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric fires.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
Never place any type of candle or naked flame on the top of or near the unit.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this
unit to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No objects filled with liquids, such
as vases, should be placed on the unit.
If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it off at
the mains immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.
To prevent the risk of electric shock or fire hazard due to overheating, ensure
that curtains and other materials do not obstruct the ventilation vents.
Safety
Always disconnect the unit from the mains supply before connecting/
disconnecting other devices or moving the unit.
Unplug the unit from the mains socket during a lightning storm.
This unit will become warm when used for a long period of time.
This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the unit.

Mains Adapter
Make sure the unit is not resting on top of the mains adapter cable, as the
weight of the unit may damage the cable and create a safety hazard.
If the mains adapter is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Interference
Do not place the unit on or near appliances which may cause electromagnetic
interference. If you do, it may adversely affect the operating performance of the
unit, and cause a distorted sound.
Supervision
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
Never let anyone especially children push anything into the holes, slots or any
other openings in the case - this could result in a fatal electric shock.
Service/Maintenance
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. The unit does not
contain any user serviceable parts. leave all maintenance work to qualified person.
Do not open any fixed covers as this may expose dangerous voltages.
Ensure to unplug the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
Do not use any type of abrasive pad or abrasive cleaning solutions as these may
damage the unit's surface.
Do not use liquids to clean the unit.
Earphones
Listening to loud sounds for prolonged periods of time may permanently
damage your hearing.
Before putting on earphones, turn the volume down then put the earphones on
and slowly increase the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.

Using your DAB+/FM radio/ Bluetooth/AUX-IN
1. Turn on the unit
Press the rotary button to turn on or turn o.
2. Switch between Bluetooth, AUX-IN, DAB+ and FM mode
Press Source button repeatedly to select between Bluetooth, AUX-IN, DAB+ or
FM mode.
3. Basic Operation
3.1 DAB+ radio mode
DAB+ radio mode receives DAB+ digital radio and displays information about the
station and programme/track as broadcast.
3.1.1 Reset and scan DAB+ station
When this is the first time you use, or if the station list is empty, the radio
automatically performs a full scan to see what stations are available. You may also
need to start a scan manually to update the list of stations for one of the
following reasons:
New stations may become available from time to time.
Stations close or can no longer be received (In the station list, invalid stations
are indicated with a question mark in front of their name).
If reception was not good for the original scan (for example the antenna was
not up), this may result in an empty or incomplete list of available stations.
If you have poor reception of some stations causing the audio to break up, you
may wish to list only stations with good signal strength.
To do a full scan manually
In DAB+ mode, press and hold “menu/info” button until the screen showing
<Full Scan> and then Select, or press “Scan/Pair” Button, it will turn to full scan.
Once a scan is complete, the radio returns to playing the previously-selected
station or the first station the station list.
3.1.2 Select stations
In DAB+ mode, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to select through the list of stations.
Stop at your preferred station, then press “Select” It will be tuned automatically
within a second.
Note: During the search, operation of the sound level will be muted automatically.
3.1.3 Adjust volume
Turn the “rotary” button clockwise or anti-clockwise to increase or decrease
volume respectively.

3.1.4 MEMORY:
The Memory settings allow you to select the DAB+ radio with a variety of your
favorite stations suitable for you. Choose a station and press and hold “Memory”
button for 2 seconds to adjust the NO. By “rotable Knob” or “tuning” Keys, and
then Press “Select” .
3.2 FM radio mode
FM radio mode receives analogue radio from the FM band and displays RDS (Radio
Data System) information about the station and show (where broadcast).
While FM radio is playing, the screen shows its frequency, or if RDS information is
available, station name and any further 'RadioText' information is shown.
If no information is available, just the frequency and a<No RadioText> message
is shown.
3.2.1 Scan FM station
In FM mode, you can also tune the station manually. Press the “tune-” or “tune+”
button to adjust the FM frequencies with 50 kHz down or up respectively.
If press and hold the “tune-” or “tune+” button, it will scan to previous or next
station. (for details see Scan settings in section 4.2.1 Settings).
3.2.2 Adjust volume
Turn the “rotary” button clockwise or anti-clockwise to increase or decrease
volume respectively.
3.2.3 MEMORY:
The Memory settings allow you to select the FM radio with a variety of your
favorite stations suitable for you. Choose a station and press and hold “Memory”
button for 2 seconds to adjust the NO. By “rotable Knob” or “tuning” Keys, and
then Press “Select” .
3.3 Bluetooth mode
Press the “power” button to turn on the device and then press “Source” button
to change to Bluetooth mode.Turn on the Bluetooth function on your mobile
device and look for “SENZ ARIA” in the Bluetooth device list.After successfully
connecting, adjust the volume on your audio device to the desired volume level.
3.4 Aux-in Mode
Press the “power” button to turn on the device and then press “Source” button to
change to AUX-IN mode.Use a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the
speaker to an audio source.You can play music from the audio source.

4. Advance settings
The Advance settings allow you to tailor the DAB+/FM radio with a variety of
options to suit you. To access Advance settings from any mode, press and hold
“Menu/Info” button for 2 seconds to enter the menu.
4.1 DAB+ radio mode
Under the advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to select through the list of
menu, stop at your preferred option, it will be enter or start the function
automatically within a second. The advance setting menu options are:
Full scan
Manual tune
DRC
Prune
TA
System
4.1.1 Full scan
Under advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to find Full scan through the list
of menu, then press “ select” to select. Full scan starts automatically after 3
seconds. Once a scan is complete, the radio returns to playing the previously-
selected station or first station on the station list.
Note: If no radio station found, it shows No DAB Station. For a better reception,
extend the antenna or do the full scan again in another place.
4.1.2 Manual tune
As well as the normal method of scanning, you can also manually tune to a
particular channel/frequency. This can be useful for adjusting your antenna to
achieve the best possible reception and scanning a particular channel to update
the station list.
Under advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to find Manual tune through the
list of menu, then press “SELECT” to select. Then press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to
select a particular channel/frequency.
The display shows a live indication of the received signal strength on the selected
frequency. Adjustments to your antenna will be manifested in the received signal
strength displayed.
4.1.3 DRC (Dynamic range compression)
This function reduces the difference between the loudest and quietest audio
being broadcast. Effectively, this makes quiet sounds comparatively louder, and
loud sounds comparatively quieter.

Options: off(default) | low | high
Under advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to DRC through the list of menu,
then press “select” to select. Then press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to select particular
setting.
Note: DRC only works if it is enabled by the broadcaster f or a specific station.
4.1.4 Prune (remove stations that are listed but unavailable)
This removes all invalid stations indicated in the station list with a '?' in front of
the station name.
Under advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to find Prune through the list of
menu, then press “Select” to select. Then press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to choose
<YES> then press “SELECT” to confirm removing all invalid stations, it will
automatically start the process after 3 seconds.
4.1.5 TA (Traffic Alarm)
Under advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to TA through the list of menu,
then press “Select” to select. Then press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to choose “on” or “off”
to open or close this function.
4.1.6 System
The System menu options are:
Sleep
Alarm
Time
Backlight
Language
Factory Reset

Note: as you go through the possible values, an asterisk (*) appearing to the
right-hand side of the display indicates the currently selected value for each setting.
4.1.6.1 Sleep
Press and hold INFO/MENU button into Menu <System>, press either Prev. or
Next buttons to or Rotable Knob to cycle through options until you locate “Sleep”
and Press Select button to select.
You can set your radio to turn off automatically using the sleep timer. You can
choose from Sleep off, 15, 30, 4560 and 90 minutes.

4.1.6.2 Alarm
1. press and hold MENU button into Menu <System>, press either Prev. or Next
buttons to cycle through options until you locate “Alarm Setting”. Then Press
the Select control inwards to selection. <Alarm1 Setting> or <Alarm2 Setting>
2. Press the Select button into Alarm1 Set, press either Prev. or Next buttons to
selection Alarm1 “On”, Press Select button to confirm.
3. Press Select button into set “hh”, Flash “hh”, Press either Prev. or Next buttons
to selection “hh”, Press Select button to confirm
4. Press Select button into set “mm”, Flash “mm” Press either Prev. or Next
buttons to selection set “mm”, Press Select button to confirm.
Press either Prev. or Next buttons to selection the alarm source. Select between
Buzzer, DAB FM. Press Snooze/Select button to confirm.
Press either Prev. or Next buttons to selection the alarm occurrence. Select
between Once, Daily, Week day or Weekend, then press the SELECT to confirm
finish Alarm1 set.
Note:<Alarm2 Setting> same as <Alarm1 Setting>
Snooze
When the alarm sounds, Press any key (except Standby, stop Alarms) button to
keep Snoozing another 9 minutes.
Stop Alarms
When the alarm sounds, press the standby button to stop;
4.1.6.3 Time
In the Time menu, you can set the Time and Date.
Set the time by using the “Tune-” or “Tune+” button and confirm by pressing “Select"
Set the date by using the “Tune-” or “Tune+” button and confirm by pressing “Select"
It will be showed Time saved in the display.
In the Time menu, you can select other parameter by using the “Tune-” or
“Tune+” button.
Set the time and date update method: Update from Any / Update from DAB+ /
Update from FM /
No update and then press “select” to confirm
Set the 12 /24 hour: Set 24 hour / Set 12 hour and then press “select” to confirm
Set date format: DD/MM/YYYY/MM/DD/YYYY and then press “select” to confirm

4.1.6.4 Backlight
Follow the below instructions to select the backlight menu. The sections after
explain each setting.
1. Press and hold the Menu button
2. When the 'Full Scan(DAB)or ' Scan Setting(FM) option appears press either
Prev. or Next buttons to cycle through the menu options until you locate
'system'. Press the Select button to select
3. Use the Prev. or Next buttons to locate the Backlight option and press the
Select button.
Timeout:
Following backlight setting1-3steps
4. Use the Prev. or Next buttons to locate the Timeout option and press the
Select button
5. Use the Prev, or Next buttons to cycle through options 10-180 seconds
6. Press the Select button to store the setting
On level
Following backlight setting 1-3steps
4. Use the Prev. or Next buttons to locate the On level option and press the
Select button
5. Use the Prev. or Next buttons to cycle through Low or High
6. Press the Select button to store the setting
7. The Low or High backlight brightness level will be eective immediately and
restore the default backlight level according to the selected Timeout option.
Dim level

4. Use the Prev. or Next buttons to locate the 'Dim level option and press the
Select button.
5. Use the Prev. or Next buttons to cycle through Low or High
6. Press the Select button to store the setting.
7. The Low or High backlight brightness level will be eective according to the
selected Timeout option.

4.1.6.5 Language
The language used for display messages can be selected from below options:
Cycle through Language menu by pressing “Tune-” or “Tune+” or Rotable knob to
select and stop at a particular language by pressing “Select” .
4.1.6.6 Factory reset
A factory reset clears all user defined settings, replacing them with the original
default values, so time/date, preferences/settings, DAB+ station list and preset
stations are all lost.
If you select <Factory reset>, you are asked to confirm by selecting <YES>.
Under advance setting, press the “Tune-” or “Tune+” button or Rotable knob to
select “Factory reset” through the list of menu, you are asked to confirm by
selecting <YES>.
4.1.6.7 SW version
This displays the current software version.
Cycle through the menu, press “Tune-“ or “Tune+” button or Rotable Knob to find
“SW version” through the list of menu, then press “Select” to select.
4.1.7 Info
You can view further information when the unit is working under DAB mode.
Press Info/menu Button repeatedly and you can have options include:
DLS (Dynamic Label Segment – short text information broadcast with DAB+ audio)

4.2 FM radio mode
Under the advance setting, press “Tune-” or “Tune+” to select through the list of
menu, stop at your preferred option, it will be enter or start the function
automatically within a second. The advance setting menu options are:

4.2.1 Scan setting
By default, FM scans stop at any available station (All stations). This may result in
poor quality audio from weak stations.
Options: All stations | Strong stations only
Press “Tune-” or “Tune+” then press “select” to select a particular option in Scan
setting, .
4.2.2 Audio setting
By default, all stereo stations are reproduced in stereo. For weak stations, this
may result in poor quality audio. The audio quality can be improved using mono.
Options: Stereo allowed | Forced mono
Press “Tune-” or “Tune+” then press “select” to select a particular option in Audio
setting.

Solution
- The station is not tuned in. Fine tune the station.
- The volume is set to a low position. Increase the volume.
- Headphones may be connected. Disconnect the
headphones
Turn o the unit and turn on again after a few seconds.
Weak signal. Use the manual tune function.
-Signal reception is too low. Adjust the aerial or move the unit
to a stronger signal location.

Hur du använder din DAB +/FM-radio/Bluetooth/AUX-radio
1. Slå på enheten
Tryck på vridknappen för att slå på eller stänga av.
2. Växla mellan Bluetooth, AUX-IN, DAB + och FM-läge
Tryck på Source-knappen flera gånger för att välja mellan Bluetooth, AUX-IN,
DAB + eller FM-läge.
3. Grundläggande användning
3.1 DAB+ radio-läge
DAB + radioläge tar emot DAB + digitalradio och visar information om stationen
och programmet / spåret som sändning.
3.1.1 Återställ och skanna DAB + stationer
Nya stationer kan bli tillgängliga då och då.
Stationer stängs av eller kan inte längre tas emot (I stationslistan indikeras
ogiltiga stationer med ett frågetecken framför namnet).
Om mottagningen inte blev bra under den ursprungliga skanningen (till exempel
om antennen inte var uppe), kan det leda till en tom eller ofullständig lista över
tillgängliga stationer.
Om du har dålig mottagning för vissa stationer som leder till att ljudet bryts,
kan du välja att bara lista stationer med god signalstyrka.
Att göra en fullständig genomsökning manuellt
I DAB + -läget, tryck och håll "meny/info"-knappen intryckt tills skärmen som visar
<Full Scan> och välj, eller tryck på "Scan/Pair"-knappen, då kommer den att utföra
en fullständig genomsökning. När skanningen är klar återgår radion till att spela
den tidigare valda stationen eller den första stationen i stationslistan.
3.1.2 Välj stationer
I DAB + -läget, tryck på "Tune-" eller "Tune +" för att välja genom listan över
stationer. Stanna vid den önskade stationen och tryck sedan på "Välj".
Den bläddrar automatiskt inom en sekund.
Obs! Under sökningen dämpas ljudnivån automatiskt

volymen.

3.1.4MEMORY:
Med Memory-inställningarna kan du välja DAB+-radio med en mängd olika
favoritstationer som passar dig. Välj en station och tryck och håll ner "Memory"
knappen i 2 sekunder för att justera NO. Med den "roterbara”-knappen eller "
inställning", och tryck sedan på "Välj" .
3.2 FM radioläge
FM-radio läget tar emot analog radio från FM-bandet och visar RDS (Radio Data
System) information om stationen och radioprogrammet (under sändning).
Medan FM-radio spelas visar skärmen sin frekvens, eller om RDS-information är
tillgänglig, visas stationsnamn och ytterligare information om "RadioText".
Om ingen information finns tillgänglig visas bara frekvensen och ett meddelande
<No RadioText>.
3.2.1 Skanna FM-stationen
I FM-läge kan du också ställa in stationer manuellt. Tryck på "tune -" eller "tune +"
-knappenför att justera FM-frekvenserna med 50 kHz respektive nedåt.
Om du trycker på och håller knappen "Tune -" eller "Tune +", skannar den till
föregående eller nästa station.
(för detaljer, se Skanningsinställningar i avsnitt 4.2.1 Inställningar).
3.2.2 Justera volymen

Med minnesinställningarna kan du välja FM-radio med en mängd olika
favoritstationer som passar dig. Välj en station och tryck och håll ner
"Memory"-knappen i 2 sekunder för att justera NO. Med knapparna "roterbar
knapp" eller "inställning", och tryck sedan på "Välj" .
3.3 Bluetooth-läge
Med bluetooth-läge kan du ansluta till enheten via Bluetooth. Tryck på
"power"-knappen för att slå på enheten och tryck sedan på "Source"-knappen för
att byta till Bluetooth-läge. Försök att ansluta och koppla Bluetooth mellan
produkterna och din musikuppsamlingsenhet.
