If thetime and date are not automatically updated (due to reception conditions, etc) do
as follows:
1. Turn theradio on by pressing the [ STANDBY ] button.
2. Hold in [ MENU/INFO ] until asub-menu appears on thedisplay.
3. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] until “System” appears on thedisplay.
4. Press [ SELECT ] to open themenu.
5. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] until “Time” appears on thedisplay.
6. Press [ SELECT ] to select.
7. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] until “Set Time/Date” appears on thedisplay.
8. Press [ SELECT ] to select. “Set time” appears on thedisplay and thehoursflash.
9. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to set thehours.
10. Press [ SELECT ] again - theminutes willflash.
11. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to set theminutes.
12. Press [ SELECT ] to continue and set theday, month and year in thesameway.
13. Press [ SELECT ] when you have finished – “Time Saved” will appear on thedisplay.
Thesettings have now beenmade.
Listening to the DAB radio
1. Turn theradio on by pressing the [ STANDBY ] button.
2. Press [ MODE ] until “DAB” appears on thedisplay.
3. Thedisplayshows “Scanning” which means that theradio is scanning for DAB
radio stations.
4. When thescanning process has been performed, theradio selects thestation
which comes first in numberorder.
5. Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to browse different stations, press [ SELECT ] to listen to
thechosen station.
Note: Iftheradio does not find any stations a menu selection “Full scan”, “Manual
tune”, “Prune”, or “System” will appear, seebelow.
MENU in DAB mode
Hold in [ MENU/INFO ] until themenu selections “Full scan”, “Manual tune”, “Prune”,
or“System” appear.
Press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to select one of themenu options. Press [ SELECT ] to open and
confirm your selection in therespectivemenu. Toggle between settings options using
[ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ].
• Fullscan: starts anew scan for DAB radio stations.
• Manualtune: you search for DAB stations yourself using [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ]. Press
[ SELECT ] to listen to theselected station.
• Prune: you can delete all theunavailable stations on thelist. Choose No (do not
delete) or Yes (delete).
• System, has three submenus: time and date setting (Time), default factory reset
(Factory Reset) or version info (SW version).
