Mit dem Hand- und Fußpflegegerät Medistyle haben Sie ein Qualitätsprodukt

von MEDISANA erworben.

Schöne, gesunde Hände und Füße zu besitzen, ist eine Frage der Pflege. Regel-

mäßige Anwendungen – Maniküre und Pediküre – mit dem MEDISANA

Medistyle können Ihre Nagelqualität verbessern, weiche Haut an Händen und

Füßen schaffen und Ihnen so ein gepflegtes Auftreten sichern.

Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und recht lange Freude an Ihrem

MEDISANA Medistyle haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die nachstehenden

Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.

Lesen Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig

durch, bevor Sie das Gerät einsetzen und bewahren Sie

die Gebrauchsanweisung für die weitere Nutzung auf.

• Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, achten Sie darauf,

dass die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspannung mit der Ihres

Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur entsprechend seiner Bestimmung laut Bedienungs-

anleitung.

Das Gerät ist nicht für den kommerziellen Gebrauch bestimmt.

• Benutzen Sie keine Zusatzteile, die nicht vom Hersteller empfohlen werden.

• Stecken Sie keine fremden Gegenstände in eine der Öffnungen. Vermeiden Sie

den Kontakt mit spitzen oder scharfen Gegenständen. Bei Zweckentfremdung

erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

• Wenn das Gerät von, an oder in der Nähe von Kindern oder von durch eine

Behinderung eingeschränkte Menschen benutzt wird, sollte dies immer unter

Aufsicht geschehen. Elektrogeräte sind kein Spielzeug!

• Im Falle von Störungen reparieren Sie das Gerät nicht selbst. Es erlischt dann

nicht nur jeglicher Garantieanspruch, sondern es können ernsthafte Gefahren

entstehen (Feuer, elektrischer Schlag, Verletzung). Lassen Sie Reparaturen nur

von autorisierten Servicestellen durchführen.

Bei elektrischen Geräten beachten Sie bitte besonders:

• Schließen Sie den Netzadapter



nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät an.

• Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Gerät, das ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen Sie

sofort den Netzstecker.

• Benutzen Sie kein elektrisches Gerät, während Sie baden oder duschen. Lagern

oder bewahren Sie kein elektrisches Gerät an Stellen auf, von denen aus es in

die Badewanne oder das Waschbecken fallen kann.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht unter Bettdecken oder Kissen.

• Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heißen Oberflächen fern.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in Räumen, in denen Aerosole (Sprays) verwen-

det werden oder reiner Sauerstoff verabreicht wird.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Zuleitungskabel beschädigt ist, das

Netzteil defekt ist, das Gerät nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, wenn es herunter

oder ins Wasser gefallen war oder beschädigt worden ist.

• Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie das Gerät nie am Netzkabel und klemmen

Sie das Kabel nicht ein.

• Vermeiden Sie sehr starke Erwärmung des Gerätes durch zu lange Benutzung.

Lieferumfang

• Ziehen Sie den Stecker nur mit trockenen Händen aus der Steckdose, wenn

das Gerät ausgeschaltet und nicht mehr in Gebrauch ist und auch, wenn Sie

Geräteteile auswechseln.

• Im Falle eines Diabetes oder anderer Erkrankungen sollten Sie vor der An-

wendung des Gerätes Rücksprache mit Ihrem Hausarzt halten.

• Schwangere sollten die notwendigen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen und ihre indivi-

duelle Belastbarkeit beachten, ggf. halten Sie Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt.

• Behandeln Sie keine Körperpartien, die Schwellungen, Verbrennungen, Ent-

zündungen, Hautausschläge, Wunden oder empfindliche Stellen aufweisen.

• Die Behandlung sollte angenehm sein. Spüren Sie Schmerzen oder empfinden

die Anwendung als unangenehm, brechen Sie ab und halten Sie Rücksprache

mit Ihrem Arzt.

Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist.

Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

• Medistyle-Gerät mit Netzadapter

• 6 Ansatzteile (Medistyle S) • Aufbewahrungstasche

• 11 Ansatzteile (Medistyle L) • Gebrauchsanweisung

Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen Transportschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich

bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler in Verbindung.

• Die Saphir-Ansatzteile sind extrem langlebig und so gut wie verschleißfrei.

• Eine Anwendung sollte ununterbrochen nicht länger als 15 Minuten dauern.

Schalten Sie das Gerät danach mindestens für eine halbe Stunde aus und

lassen Sie es abkühlen

• Wegen der geringen Verletzungsgefahr ist die Medistyle-Anwendung auch

besonders für Diabetiker/innen oder ältere Menschen geeignet.

• Die Medistyle-Ansatzteile können aus hygienischen Gründen mit einem

Wasser-Alkohol Gemisch gereinigt werden.

• Es sollte kein vorheriges Einweichen der Haut erfolgen. Das MEDISANA

Medistyle ist schnell, bequem und sicher überall einsetzbar.

• Der Umgang mit dem MEDISANA Medistyle wird Ihnen bereits nach

wenigen Anwendungen leicht fallen und vertraut sein.

Warum ist das Medistyle besonders für Diabetiker/innen geeignet?

Da die Geschwindigkeit stufenlos regulierbar ist und das Gerät bei zu starkem

Druck stoppt, ist die Anwendung selbst bei herabgesetztem Schmerzempfinden

oder verlangsamter Reaktionsfähigkeit sehr sicher. Ferner werden mit den

Saphiransatzteilen nur bereits abgestorbene Hautteile abgetragen.

Warum gibt es so viele Ansatzteile?

Jeder Aufsatz ist für eine spezielle Problemlösung an Händen und Füßen kon-

zipiert und deshalb besonders effektiv und sicher in der Anwendung.

Können mehrere Benutzer/innen ein MEDISANA Medistyle verwenden?

Ja. Allerdings sollte – um Ansteckung von Hautkrankheiten zu vermeiden –

jede/r die wichtigsten Ansatzteile selbst besitzen.

Diese sind einzeln bei der MEDISANA AG erhältlich.

3 Anwendung

Mit dem MEDISANA Medistyle können viele unterschiedliche Ansatzteile

verwendet werden. Schalten Sie das Gerät



aus



. Um die Aufsätze zu

wechseln, ziehen Sie zunächst einfach das nicht benötigte Ansatzteil ab. Das

gewünschte Teil setzen Sie ein, indem Sie es leicht drehen und einen geringen

Widerstand überwinden. Wenn Sie das Einrastgeräusch (leises „Klick“) hören,

sitzt das Ansatzteil fest. Auch Ansatzteile eines anderen Nagelpflegegerätes

können Sie mit Hilfe des Dorns (nur Medistyle L) auf dem MEDISANA

Medistyle benutzen.

Fangen Sie bei jeder Anwendung langsam an und steigern Sie die stufenlos

verstellbare Drehgeschwindigkeit individuell



Es entsteht leichter Schleifstaub. Die Saphire entfernen nur abgestorbene

Hautteilchen durch vorsichtiges Schleifen. Lebende Hautpartikel werden somit

nicht entfernt. Dadurch besteht keine Verletzungsgefahr.

Wird die Entfernung der Hornhaut unangenehm, beenden Sie die Anwendung.

• Ziehen Sie bei einem elektrischen Gerät stets das Netzteil aus der Steckdose.

• Verwenden Sie nie aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder starke Bürsten.

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen Tuch, das Sie mit einer milden

Seifenlauge leicht befeuchten. Tauchen Sie das Gerät zum Reinigen niemals

ins Wasser und achten Sie ggf. darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Gerät ein-

dringt. Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es völlig trocken ist.

• Reinigen Sie die Ansatzteile – falls nötig – extra mit einer kleinen, weichen

Bürste. Lassen Sie die Ansatzteile erst vollständig trocknen, bevor Sie diese

erneut auf das Gerät setzen.

• Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen, kühlen Platz.

• Legen Sie das Stromkabel sorgfältig zusammen, um einen Kabelbruch zu

vermeiden.

Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.

Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für drei

Jahre gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch die Kauf-

quittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.

2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden innerhalb der

Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.

3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit,

weder für das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.

4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:

a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, z.B. durch Nicht-

beachtung der Gebrauchsanleitung, entstanden sind.

b. Schäden, die auf Instandsetzung oder Eingriffe durch den Käufer oder

unbefugte Dritte zurückzuführen sind.

c. Transportschäden, die auf dem Weg vom Hersteller zum Verbraucher

the owner of a high-quality product by MEDISANA.

Beautiful healthy hands and feet are a matter of good care. Regular treatment

– a manicure and pedicure – with the MEDISANA Medistyle can improve the

quality of your nails, produce soft skin on your hands and feet, and ensure a

cultivated and well-groomed appearance.

In order to ensure that you achieve the success desired and enjoy using your

MEDISANA Medistyle for a long time to come, we recommend that you read

the following instructions carefully on use and maintenance of the device.

• Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the

supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains supply.

• Only use this unit according to the intended purpose and as directed in the

instructions for use.

• Do not use any auxiliary parts that have not been recommended by the maker.

• Do not put any foreign objects into any of the openings. Avoid contact with

pointed or sharp objects. The warranty is null and void if it is not used for the

intended purpose.

in the presence of children, this must always be done under supervision.

Medical equipment is not designed to be used as a toy!

• Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself in the event of any defects. Not only

does this render the warranty null and void but you can also run the risk of

authorised service points.

when the unit is switched off.

Scope of delivery

Only pull the plug out of the socket when you have dry hands, when the unit

has been switched off and is not being used any longer, and also do this when

you have to replace the heads.

• Consult your doctor first before using this unit if you have diabetes or other

related illnesses.

• Pregnant women should note the important precautionary measures and the

amount of stress they can take, consult your doctor first if necessary.

• Do not treat any parts of the body that have swellings, burns, inflammation,

peeling skin, wounds or other sensitive points.

• The treatment should be pleasant. Stop at once and consult your doctor if you

feel pain or the treatment seems unpleasant.

Please check first of all that the unit is complete.

If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your

dealer without delay.

• The sapphire heads have an extremely long life and virtually never wear out.

• Uninterrupted treatment should not last longer than 15 minutes. Then

switch off the unit for at least half an hour and allow it to cool down.

• Due to the minimal risk of injury, the Medistyle is also especially suitable for

use by diabetics or older people.

• The Medistyle heads should be cleaned with an alcohol solution for

hygienic reasons.

• Do not soften the skin beforehand. The MEDISANA Medistyle is quick,

convenient and can be used everywhere with safety.

• You will find that it is easy to use the MEDISANA Medistyle and will be

familiar with it after a very short time.

Why is the Medistyle especially suitable for use with diabetics?

Because the speed is continuously adjustable and the device stops if too much

pressure is used, the unit can also be used safely by persons who have reduced

sensitivity to pain or are unable to react quickly to pain. Also, the sapphire

accessory heads only remove dead skin.

Why are there so many heads?

Each head is designed to solve a particular problem for the hands and feet and

therefore especially effective and safe in use.

Can several people use one MEDISANA Medistyle?

Yes. But in any case it is best that each person has its own set of the accessory

heads to prevent the transmission of skin diseases.

A number of different heads can be used with the MEDISANA Medistyle.

Switch the device

off

. Change the heads by pulling off the head that is

no longer required. You can insert the next part by rotating it lightly and over-

coming a slight resistance. If you hear a slight click as it clicks into place, then

the head is firmly in place. You can also use heads from other nail care units

with the aid of the attachment (Medistyle L only) on the MEDISANA

Medistyle.

Start slowly for each application and increase the continuously adjustable

rotating speed



to suit your individual requirements.

This produces a small amount of dust. The sapphire heads only remove dead

skin particles with careful grinding. Living skin particles are not removed. Thus

there is no risk of injury.

Stop the treatment at once if you find that the removal of hard skin is un-

pleasant.

Creaming afterwards and regular care with the MEDISANA Medistyle

contributes to well-cared for hands and feet with soft skin and firm nails with

a stable structure.

Any accessory heads that do not come with the Medistyle S are available as

accessories.

4 Miscellaneous

• Always pull the mains adapter out of the socket in the case of an electrical

unit.

• Never use strong cleaning agents or stiff brushes.

• Clean the unit with a soft cloth which has been lightly moistened with a

mild soap. Never dip the unit into water for cleaning and ensure that no

water gets into the unit at any time. Only use the unit again, when it is fully

dry.

• Also clean the accessory heads with a small, soft brush if necessary. First

allow the heads to dry off completely before you use them again on the unit.

• Store the device in a dry, cool place.

• Fold up the power cable carefully to avoid cable breaks.

This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.

All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless

of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commer-

cial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally

acceptable manner.

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the

warranty. If you have to send in the unit, please enclose a copy of your

receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of

purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be

proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge

within the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the

unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty:

a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-

observance of the user instructions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or

unauthorised third parties.

c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to

the consumer or during transport to the service centre.

d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are

Evitez que l’appareil ne chauffe très fort en l’utilisant trop longtemps.

Ne débranchez la prise secteur qu’avec des mains sèches, que lorsque l’appareil est

éteint et n’est plus en service. Faites-le également si vous changez d’ accessoires.

Pourquoi l’appareil

Medistyle
