Der Sensor mit Reed-Kontakt ist kein Sicherheitsbauteil gemäß EU-Maschinenrichtlinie.
Beachten Sie daher vor dem Gebrauch Ihres Sensors die hier aufgeführten
Sicherheitshinweise sowie die Beschreibungen und Hinweise in der Anleitung Ihres
Sensors.
Erforderliche Qualifikationen
Der Anschluss, die Montage und die Einstellung des Sensors mit Reed-Kontakt
dürfen nur von einer Elektro- oder Pneumatikfachkraft oder von einer
unterwiesenen Person unter der Leitung und Aufsicht einer Fachkraft erfolgen.
Wichtige Sicherheitsinformationen
WInstallieren Sie den Sensor mit Reed-Kontakt nicht an Orten, die direkter
Sonnenstrahlung oder sonstigen Wettereinflüssen ausgesetzt sind, außer dies ist in der
Betriebsanleitung ausdrücklich erlaubt.
WUm Brandgefahr zu vermeiden:
– Nehmen Sie elektrische Verbindungen nur unter Einhaltung der lokalen und
nationalen elektrischen Vorschriften und Normen vor.
– Sichern Sie den Sensor mit einer für den Querschnitt der Anschlussleitung
geeigneten Sicherung ab. Für Details beachten Sie die Betriebsanleitung.
WSensoren mit Reed-Kontakt sind nicht kurzschlussfest. Um Kurzschlussgefahr zu
vermeiden:
– Betreiben Sie den Reed-Schalter immer mit einer Last (RL) (siehe Grafik Titelseite),
damit es bei einer Betätigung des Schalters nicht zu einem Kurzschluss über den
geschlossenen Reed-Kontakt kommen kann.
– Überschreiten Sie niemals die angegebenen Werte für Schaltstrom und Spannung
(siehe Verpackungsaufdruck).
– Wenn die Gefahr besteht, dass der Sensor kurzgeschlossen werden kann
(vorhersehbare Fehlanwendung), setzen Sie eine entsprechend ausgelegte
Kurzschlussschutzeinrichtung (SCPD) ein. Diese sollte bei Überschreiten des
maximal zulässigen Stroms auslösen.
Hinweis für Geräte mit einer
Versorgungsspannung > 50 V (AC), 75 V (DC)
WUm den Verlust der elektrischen Sicherheit (Schutzklasse) zu vermeiden:
– Beachten Sie die Einbauhinweise bei der Inbetriebnahme.
– Schützen Sie das Gerät bei der Inbetriebnahme vor Feuchtigkeit und
Verunreinigungen.
– Soweit in der Betriebsanleitung nicht anders angegeben, verwenden Sie den Sensor
nur in einem Bereich mit einem max. Verschmutzungsgrad von 3, einer max.
Überspannungskategorie II und einer max. Höhenlage von 2.000 m über NN.
– Schützen Sie das Gerät vor mechanischer Beschädigung.

The sensor with reed contact is not a safety component in terms of the EU Machinery
Directive. Before using your sensor therefore, observe the safety information listed here,
as well as the descriptions and information in the instructions for your sensor.
Required qualifications
Connection, assembly and adjustment of the sensor with reed contact may only be
carried out by qualified electrical or pneumatic personnel or an instructed person
under the direction and supervision of qualified personnel.
Important safety information
WDo not install the sensor with reed contact in areas that are exposed to direct sun or
other weather effects unless this is explicitly permitted in the operating instructions.
WTo avoid danger of fire:
– Only implement electrical connections in line with local and national
electrical regulations and standards.
– Secure the sensor with a fuse that is suitable for the width of the connector cable.
For details, see the operating instructions.
WSensors with reed contacts are not short-circuit-resistant. To avoid the danger of short-
circuits:
– Always operate the reed switch with a load (RL) (see the graphic on the title page) to
ensure that a switch actuation does not result in a short-circuit via the closed reed
contact.
– Never exceed the given values for switching current and voltage (see the printing on
the package).
– An appropriately designed short-circuit protective device (SCPD) must be used if
there is a danger of a short circuit in the sensor (expected improper use). This device
should be triggered if the maximum permissible current is exceeded.
Note for devices with supply voltage > 50 V (AC), 75 V (DC)
WTo avoid the loss of electrical safety (protection class):
– Observe the installation instructions during commissioning.
– Protect the device from humidity and contamination during commissioning.
– Unless stated otherwise in the operating instructions, only use the sensor in areas
with a maximum contamination level of 3, maximum overvoltage category II,
and a maximum altitude of 2,000 m above sea level.
– Protect the device from mechanical damage.
– Only use the device when installed.

FRANÇAIS
Le capteur avec contact Reed n’est pas un composant de sécurité au sens où l’entend la
directive européenne sur les machines. Avant toute utilisation de votre capteur, observer
par conséquent les présentes consignes de sécurité ainsi que les descriptions et
remarques contenues dans les instructions de votre capteur.
Qualifications nécessaires
Le raccordement, le montage et le réglage du capteur avec contact Reed ne doivent
être effectués que par un personnel spécialisé en électrique ou pneumatique, ou par
une personne instruite et sous la direction et la surveillance d’une personne
qualifiée.
Informations importantes relatives à la sécurité
WNe pas installer le capteur avec contact Reed dans des lieux exposés aux rayons directs
du soleil ou aux intempéries, sauf indication contraire explicite dans la notice
d’instruction.
WAfin d’éviter tout incendie :
– N’effectuer les raccordements électriques que dans le respect des directives
et normes locales et nationales.
– Protéger le capteur avec un fusible adapté à la section du câble de raccordement.

WLes capteurs avec contact Reed ne sont pas résistants aux courts-circuits. Afin d’éviter
tout risque de court-circuit :
– Toujours faire fonctionner le contacteur Reed avec une charge (RL, voir graphique de
la page de couverture) afin d’empêcher tout court-circuit via le contact Reed fermé
lors de l’activation.
– Ne jamais dépasser les valeurs indiquées pour le courant de commutation et la
tension (voir imprimé de l’emballage).
– En cas de risque de court-circuit au niveau du capteur (utilisation incorrecte
prévisible), mettre en place un dispositif anti-court-circuit conforme. Celui-ci doit se
déclencher si l'intensité maximale autorisée est dépassée.
Remarque pour appareils avec une
tension d’alimentation > 50 V (CA), 75 V (CC)
WPour prévenir toute perte de la sécurité électrique (classe de protection) :
– Respecter les conseils de montage lors de la mise en service.
– Protéger l’appareil de l’humidité et des impuretés lors de la mise en service.
– Sauf indication contraire de la notice d’instruction, n’utiliser le capteur que dans un
espace dont le niveau de contamination est de max. 3, dont la catégorie de surtension
est de max. II et qui est situé à max. 2000 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer.
– Protéger l’appareil de tout endommagement mécanique.
– N’utiliser l’appareil qu’à l’état monté.

Il sensore con contatto Reed non è un componente di sicurezza ai sensi della Direttiva
Macchine UE. Prima dell'uso del sensore osservare quindi le indicazioni di sicurezza qui
indicate nonché le descrizioni e le indicazioni riportate nelle istruzioni del sensore.
Qualifiche necessarie
Il collegamento, il montaggio e la regolazione del sensore con contatto Reed devono
essere eseguiti solo da personale specializzato in materia elettrica e pneumatica o
da una persona istruita sotto la guida e la sorveglianza di personale qualificato.
Informazioni di sicurezza importanti
WNon installare il sensore con contatto Reed in luoghi esposti all'irraggiamento solare
diretto o ad altri agenti atmosferici, se non espressamente consentito nelle istruzioni
di montaggio.
WPer evitare il rischio di incendio:
– Eseguire i collegamenti elettrici solo nel rispetto delle disposizioni e delle
norme elettriche locali e nazionali.
– Proteggere il sensore con un fusibile adatto alla sezione del conduttore di
collegamento. Per i dettagli rispettare le istruzioni di montaggio.
WI sensori con contatto Reed non sono a prova di corto circuito. Per evitare il pericolo di
cortocircuito:
– Attivare sempre l'interruttore Reed con un carico (RL) (vedere la grafica della pagina
iniziale) di modo che all'azionamento dell'interruttore non si verifichi un corto
circuito attraverso il contatto Reed chiuso.
– Non superare mai i valori di corrente di commutazione e di tensione indicati
(vedere l'etichetta del prodotto).
– Se esiste il pericolo di corto circuito del sensore (uso scorretto prevedibile),
impiegare un dispositivo di protezione da cortocircuiti (SCPD) appositamente
progettato. Questo dovrebbe entrare in funzione in caso di superamento della
corrente massima consentita.

WPer evitare la perdita della sicurezza elettrica (classe di protezione):
– Osservare le istruzioni di montaggio per la messa in funzione.

El sensor con contacto Reed no es ningún componente de seguridad según la Directiva de
Máquinas de la UE. Por lo tanto, antes de utilizar el sensor, tenga en cuenta las indicaciones
de seguridad que figuran aquí y las descripciones e indicaciones de las instrucciones del
sensor.
Cualificación necesaria
Tan solo el personal cualificado en electrónica o neumática o bien otra persona
guiada y supervisada por una persona cualificada podrá realizar el montaje
y la puesta en servicio de la conexión, el montaje y el ajuste del sensor con el
contacto Reed.
Información de seguridad importante
WNo instale el sensor con el contacto Reed en lugares que estén expuestos directamente
a la luz solar o bien a otras inclemencias climatológicas, a menos que esté autorizado
expresamente en las instrucciones de servicio.
WPara evitar el peligro de incendio:
– Efectúe las uniones eléctricas respetando siempre las prescripciones
y normas eléctricas locales y nacionales.
– Asegure el sensor con un fusible apropiado para el corte transversal del cable de
conexión. Para más detalles tenga en cuenta las instrucciones de servicio.
WLos sensores con contacto Reed no son resistentes a los cortocircuitos. Para evitar
el peligro de cortocircuito:
– Utilice el interruptor Reed siempre con una carga (RL) (véase el gráfico de la portada)
para que al accionar el interruptor no se produzca un cortocircuito a través del
contacto Reed cerrado.
– No sobrepasar nunca los valores indicados para la corriente de conmutación
y la tensión (véase el estampado en el paquete).
– Si existe el peligro de que el sensor sufra un cortocircuito (por aplicación errónea pre-
visible), utilice un dispositivo de protección contra cortocircuitos (SCPD) adecuada-
mente diseñado. Este debe activarse al sobrepasar la corriente máxima permitida.

Sensorer med reedkontakt är inte en säkerhetskomponent enligt EU-maskindirektivet.
Innan du börjar använda sensorn, läs därför dessa säkerhetsanvisningar samt
beskrivningarna och anvisningarna i bruksanvisningen för sensorn.
Kvalifikationskrav
Anslutning, montage och inställning av sensorn med reedkontakt får därför endast
utföras av en fackman inom elektronik och pneumatik eller av en person under
ledning och uppsikt av en sådan fackman.
Viktig säkerhetsinformation
WInstallera inte sensorn med reedkontakt på platser som utsätts för direkt solbelysning
eller annan väderpåverkan, om det inte uttryckligen godkänns enligt bruksanvisningen.
WÅtgärder för att förhindra brandfara:
– Elektriska anslutningar måste alltid göras enligt lokala och nationella
föreskrifter och standarder.
– Säkra sensorn med en säkring anpassad till anslutningskabelns diameter.

WSensorer med reedkontakt är inte kortslutningssäkra. Åtgärder för att undvika
kortslutning:
– Reedbrytaren måste alltid drivas med belastning (RL) (se bild på omslaget),
för att undvika kortslutning via den stängda reedkontakten när brytaren aktiveras.
– De angivna värdena för brytström och spänning (se text på förpackningen) får inte
överskridas.
– Om det finns risk för att sensorn riskerar att kortslutas (felanvändning som kan
förutses), måste en speciellt anpassad kortslutningsanordning (SCPD) användas.
Denna ska utlösas om maximalt tillåten ström överskrids.
Information för produkter med en
matningsspänning > 50 V (AC), 75 V (DC)
WFör att undvika att den elektrisk säkerheten (skyddsklassen) ska förloras:
– Vid driftstart observera monteringsanvisningen.
– Skydda produkten från fukt och smuts vid driftstart.
– Om inget annat anges i bruksanvisningen skall sensorn endast användas i områden
med max. nedsmutsningsgrad 3, max. överspänningsgrad II och placeras på en
maxhöjd av 2000 m över havsytan.
– Skydda produkten mot mekanisk belastning.
– Använd produkten endast i monterat tillstånd.
