Qu’est-ce que le Body Control Familial ?

C’est un pèse-personne qui donne une indication sur la corpulence de tous les membres de la famille.

Le Body Control Familial indique :

- votre poids,

- le gain ou la perte de votre poids selon votre poids mémorisé précédemment,

- votre Indice de Masse Corporelle (IMC),

- la classification de votre IMC selon 4 catégories.

A qui est destiné le Body Control Familial ?

Il est destiné à tous les membres de la famille :

- les enfants et les adolescents à partir de 2 ans jusqu’à 18 ans,

- les adultes (de 19 à 99* ans).

* Pour les adultes de plus de 65 ans, la classification de l’IMC peut s’avérer inexacte. Toutefois, l’utilisation de la balance ne représente

aucun risque pour la santé.

Qu’est-ce que l’Indice de Masse Corporelle (IMC) ?

- pour les adultes :

C’est un ratio entre le poids et la taille d’une personne. Cet indice est utilisé pour évaluer la corpulence

d’une personne. Calcul : IMC = poids (kg) / [taille (m)]

- pour les enfants et les adolescents :

La corpulence d’un enfant évolue avec la croissance et diffère à la puberté selon le genre.

C’est la raison pour laquelle l’IMC est fonction de l’âge et du genre. On calcule alors un percentile

qui permet de classer l’IMC.

Comment utiliser le Body Control Familial ?

Le Body Control Familial est très simple à utiliser :

- entrer les données personnelles dans l’appareil (taille, âge, genre),

- selon votre poids, l’appareil calcule votre Indice de Masse Corporelle (IMC),

- l’appareil classe votre IMC selon 4 catégories :

- pour les adultes :

> 30 Entre 25 et 29,9 Entre 18,5 et 24,9 < 18,5

- pour les enfants et les adolescents :

WHAT IS THE FAMILY BODY CONTROL SCALE?

It is a bathroom scale which gives an indication of the body fat of all the members of the family.

The Family Body Control scale indicates :

- Your weight,

- Your weight gain or loss compared to your previously saved weight,

- Your Body Mass Index (BMI),

- Your BMI classification according to 4 categories.

Who should use the Family Body Control scale?

It is designed for the whole family:

- Children and teenagers from 2 to 18 years

- Adults (from 19 to 99 years*).

* For adults over 65, the BMI classification can sometimes be inaccurate. However, using the Body Control does not in any way represent

a health risk.

What is BMI (Body Mass Index)?

- For adults:

It is the ratio between a person’s weight and height. This index is used to assess a person’s body fat.

Calculation: BMI = weight (kg)/[height (m)]

- For children and adolescents:

A child’s body fat changes as he/she grows and differs at puberty according to gender.

For this reason, BMI is a function of age and gender. A percentile is then calculated enabling BMI

to be classified.

How to use the Family Body Control scale?

The Family Body Control scale is very easy to use:

- Enter your personal data into the scale (height, age and gender),

- Your BMI (Body Mass Index) will then be calculated according to your weight,

- The scale classifies your BMI according to 4 categories:

- For adults:

> 30 Between 25 and 29.9 Between 18.5 and 24.9 < 18.5

- For children and adolescents:

- First enter your data - height, age and sex (follow the instructions in paragraph B).

- When you hear a beep, select a memory slot by pressing the [▲] or [▼] buttons.

- Press the button to confirm your choice. A beep will sound.

- The figure 1 will flash on the screen. Press the [▲] or [▼] buttons to go to the desired memory slot

Wat is de “Body Control” voor het Hele Gezin?

De “Body Control” voor het Hele Gezin is een personenweegschaal die voor alle gezinsleden een

aanduiding geeft van hun corpulentie.

De “Body Control” voor het Hele Gezin vermeldt:

- uw gewicht,

- uw gewichtstoename of gewichtsverlies vergeleken met uw eerder in het geheugen opgeslagen gewicht,

- uw Body Mass Index of lichaamsmassa index (BMI),

- de indeling van uw BMI in één van 4 categorieën.

Voor wie is de “Body Control” voor het Hele Gezin bestemd?

Hij is bestemd voor alle gezinsleden:

- kinderen en tieners vanaf 2 tot 18 jaar,

- volwassenen (van 19 tot 99* jaar).

* Bij volwassenen ouder dan 65 jaar kan de BMI indeling onnauwkeurig blijken. Het gebruik van de weegschaal houdt echter geen enkel

gevaar in voor de gezondheid.

Wat is de lichaamsmassa index (BMI)?

- bij volwassenen:

Is het de verhouding tussen het gewicht en de lengte van een persoon. Deze index wordt gebruikt om

de corpulentie van een persoon te beoordelen. Berekening: BMI = gewicht (kg) / [taille (m)]

- bij kinderen en tieners:

Bij kinderen verandert de corpulentie met de groei en verschilt in de puberteit afhankelijk van het

geslacht. De BMI is dus afhankelijk van de leeftijd en het geslacht. Daarom wordt er een percentiel

berekend waardoor de BMI in categorieën kan worden ingedeeld.

Hoe gebruikt u de “Body Control” voor het Hele Gezin?

De “Body Control” voor het Hele Gezin is heel eenvoudig te gebruiken:

- voer de persoonlijke lichaamsgegevens in het apparaat in (lengte, leeftijd, geslacht),

- afhankelijk van uw gewicht berekent het apparaat uw lichaamsmassa index (BMI),

- het apparaat deelt uw BMI in volgens 4 categorieën:

- bij volwassenen:
