Mounting instructions
1.
Palla upp MC:n så att bakhjulet hänger fritt i luften.
Demontera sadel och sidokåpor. Lossa bakramen.
2.
Demontera stötdämparens fästskruvar och tag ut
dämparen uppåt.
3.
Montering av Öhlindämparen:
Sätt dämparen på plats med hydraulförspännaren till
höger och gasbehållaren till vänster. Montera den
nedre och övre fästskruven.
4.
Montera tillbaka bakramen. Montera gasbehållaren
på vänster sida med monteringsgummin (230-01)
och slangklämmor (643-03) enligt skiss.
5.
Montera hydraulförspännaren på höger sida vid
ljuddämparfästet enligt skiss. Bind upp slangen med
buntbandet (231-01).
6.
Kontrollera att samtliga skruvar är åtdragna och att
inget tar i när bakhjulet fjädrar in.Montera tillbaka
sidokåpor och sadel.
1.
Put the motorcycle on a stand so that the rear wheel
is off the ground. Remove the seat and side covers.
Loosen the rear frame.
2.
Remove the shock absorber mounting bolts and then
the shock absorber.
3.
Mounting the Öhlins shock:
Put the shock absorber in it’s position with the
reservoir to the left, and the pre-load adjuster to the
right. Mount the upper and lower shock mounting
bolt.
4.
Remount the rear frame. Mount the reservoir on the
left side with the mounting rubbers (230-01) and the
hose clamps (643-03) according to the sketch.
5.
Mount the hydraulic pre-load adjuster on the right
side of the bike at the silencer bracket according to
the sketch. Tie up the hose with the ty-rap (231-01)
6.
Check that all bolts are tightened and that there are
no clearance problems when the rear wheel is
moving. Mount the side covers and the seat
