Mounting instructions
1.
Remove rear suspension assembly from snowmobile.
2.
Release the tension on the limiter straps (i.e. the belt
limiting front suspension travel upon rebound).
Please note the position on the screw.
3.
Remove the support wheels at the lower fixing point
of shock absorber, to be able to remove the shock
mount axle.
4.
Remove the upper shock absorber attachment bolt.
5.
Loosen the shock mount axle and remove the stock
shock absorber. Note the position on the axle
mounting holes.
6.
Apply a thin layer of cold temperature grease on the
axle. Mount the Öhlins shock absorber on the axle
with a washer and a spacer on each side.
7.
Mount the axle into the skid frame.
8.
Use rear hole in the upper fixing point. Note! Do not
use the front hole when fitting Öhlins shock
absorber. Mount the shock absorber with the gas
valve pointing downwards.
9.
Mount the support wheel.
10.
Tension the limiter straps to the same position.
11.
Mount the rear suspension assembly to snowmobile,
and make sure that all the bolts are tightened.
1.
Demontera boggit från snöskotern.
2.
Släpp på balata remmens spänning. Notera
positionen på skruven.
3.
Demontera stödhjulen vid nedre
stötdämparfästet, för att kunna demontera axeln.
4.
Demontera övre stötdämparskruven.
5.
Lossa axeln och demontera originaldämparen.
Notera positionen på axeln i boggit.
6.
Infetta axeln med ett lågtemperatur fett. Montera
Öhlins-dämparen på axeln med en bricka och en
distans på vardera sidan.
7.
Montera axeln i boggit.
8.
Vid övre fästet skall dämparen monteras i det
bakre fästhålet. OBS! Den får ej monteras i det
främre hålet. Montera dämparen med gasnippeln
nedåt.
9.
Montera stödhjulen.
10.
Spänn balata remmen till samma läge som
tidigare.
11.
Återmontera boggit och se till att samtliga
skruvar är åtdragna.
