Remove bogie from snowmobile.
Loosen balata belt (i.e. the belt limiting
suspension upon rebound)
Remove original shock absorber.
Test fit ÖHLINS shockabsorber to make sure that
there is sufficient clearance by the fixing points.
Rectify as necessary. The ÖHLINS shockabsorber
shall be mounted with the cylinderhead upwards
and the reservoir facing backwards (See figure on
opposite page)
When correct, fit shock absorber bolts and balata
belt.
Mount bogie to snowmobile.
Make sure that all bolts are tightened
Do not increase pre-load more than 12 mm from
pre-set position. i.e. maximum 34 mm spring pre-
loa
d.

Demontera boggit från skotern.
Lossa balataremmen.
Demontera originaldämparen.
Provmontera ÖHLINS-dämparen och se till att
tillräcklig frigång finns vid infästningspunkterna.
ÖHLINS-dämparen monteras med
cylinderhuvudet uppåt och gasbehållaren bakåt.

Montera stötdämparskruvarna och balataremmen.
Återmontera boggit
Se till att samtliga skruvar är åtdragna.
Öka ej förspänningen mer än 12 mm från för-
inställningen. dvs max 34 mm fjäderförspänning
