Mounting instructions
1.
Spread out suitable material on floor to protect body
of snowmobile. Lay snowmobile on its right side for
better access to shock absorber.
2.
Remove the rear suspensions rear attachment screws
and “fold” out the suspension.
3.
Remove the rear shock absorber attachment screws.
4.
Remove the idler wheel axle that holds the idler
wheels at the shock absorber front attachment point.
Remove one of the support wheels to be able to
remove the shock absorber attachment screw.
5.
Remove the shock absorber screw and remove the
shock absorber.
6.
Öhlins shock absorber shall be fitted with cylinder
head at the front attachment point and the
gasreservoir with the compression adjuster knob
pointing upwards. (See figure on opposite page).
Mount the front shock absorber screws.
7.
Mount the idler wheels to the idler wheel axle. Mount
the axle to the skid frame.
8.
Mount shock absorber to the rear fixing point.
9.
Mount the rear suspension assembly to snowmobile,
and make sure that all the bolts are tightened.
You can adjust the compression damping with the
adjustment knob. The compression damping is
determined by the amount of clicks, counted from
completely closed, turned all way in, clockwise.
Counter-clockwise: Reduces damping and makes the
suspension softer.
Clockwise: Increases damping and makes the suspension
harder
1.
Lägg snöskotern på höger sida, för att lättare komma
åt stötdämparen. Lägg något lämpligt material på
golvet för att skydda lackeringen.
2.
Demontera boggits bakre fästskruvar “vik” ut boggit.
3.
Demontera bakre stötdämparskruven.
4.
Demontera axeln som håller stödhjulen vid
stötdämparens främre infästningen och demontera
ena stödhjulet för att kunna demontera
stötdämparskruven.
5.
Demontera stötdämparskruven och demontera
originaldämparen.
6.
Öhlins-dämparen monteras med cylinderhuvudet i
främre fästet och gasbehållaren med
kompressionsjusteringsratten uppåt. (Se skiss på
baksidan). Montera främre stötdämparskruven.
7.
Montera stödhjulet på axeln. Montera axeln.
8.
Montera dämparen i det bakre fästet.
9.
Återmontera boggit och se till att samtliga skruvar är
åtdragna.
Med hjälp av justeringen kan du justera
kompressionsdämpningen dvs stötdämparens
ihoptryckning. Antal klick räknas från det läge då ratten
är helt medurs skruvad i botten. Använd fingrarna, inga
verktyg.
Moturs: Minskar dämpningen och gör fjädringen
mjukare.
Medurs: Ökar dämpningen och gör fjädringen hårdare.
Antalet klick för normal inställning, se ovan.
