The instructions for use are part of the product. They

contain important information concerning safety, use

and disposal. Before using the product, please fa-

miliarise yourself with all of the safety information

and instructions for use. Only use the product as

described and for the speciﬁed applications. If you

pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure

Proper use

The product is intended for measuring the weight of

people. The product has a weighing range of up to

180 kg. The product is suitable for indoor environment

only. The product is intended only for use in a private

domestic environment and not for commercial use.

The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused

by improper use.

1. Turn the product over and place it on a soft

underlay to avoid scratching the surface.

2. Open the cover of battery compartment

Set the desired volume for the voice output via

the volume control

. In order to deactivate

the voice output, turn the volume control

completely towards “-” until it snaps into place.

Switching on your product /

measuring your weight

Tip: Weigh yourself at the same time of day

(preferably in the morning) after visiting the toilet,

with an empty stomach and without clothing to

ensure that your results are compatible.

Note: After a change of location and following

every battery change, the product must be re-cali-

brated. To do this, proceed as follows:

Step onto the product. The product will show you an

incorrect measuring result. Then, step oﬀ the plat-

form

. The product will calibrate automatically.

Wait until the product switches oﬀ automatically.

The product is now calibrated.

Place the product down on a solid, ﬂat horizon-

tal surface.

The product must be calibrated before it is

weighed for the ﬁrst time or when it is relocated.

Calibrated process refer to previous note.

Step on to the product.

Place even weight on each leg.

If at all possible stand on the same areas of the

platform each time and do not move. Moving

during the weighing process can lead to

discrepancies in the results.

The product will start to measure immediately.

After blinking 2 times, the weight display will

display the result, as shown in, for example, Fig. B.

The determined weight is also indicated via the

loudspeaker

Note: If the product shows “0-Ld” (see Fig.

D), it signals that the product is overloaded.

Observe the maximum capacity of max. 180 kg

(for model HG04777A-DE/ HG04777B-DE);

max. 180 kg / 396 lb (for model HG04777A/

HG04777B).

Step oﬀ the platform

. The reading will reset

to “0.0” automatically after about 15 seconds.

Until then the weight measurement remains

visible.

Then, if no further movement or weighing, the

product will switch oﬀ automatically after about

further 15 seconds.

Note: If you do not step oﬀ the platform

immediately and keep standing on the platform

, the product will switch oﬀ automatically

after about 20 seconds.

Troubleshooting

This product has delicate electronic components.

This means that if it is placed near an object

that transmits radio signals, it could cause inter-

ference. If the LC display

indicates a problem,

move such objects away from it.

Electrostatic charge can lead to the product

failing. In cases of the product failing to work

remove the batteries for a short while and then

replace them.

Cleaning

Clean the product using a slightly moist cloth.

For more stubborn dirt you can also apply a

weak soap solution to the cloth.

Never immerse the product in water or other

liquids. Ignoring this advice may damage the

product.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable mate-

rials, which you may dispose of at local recycling

facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging

materials for waste separation, which

are marked with abbreviations (a) and

numbers (b) with following meaning:

1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and ﬁbre-

board / 80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials

are recyclable, dispose of it separately

for better waste treatment. The Triman

logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal

authority for more details of how to

dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please

dispose of the product properly when it

has reached the end of its useful life and

not in the household waste. Information

on collection points and their opening

hours can be obtained from your local

authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries

must be recycled in accordance with Directive

2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return

the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the

product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through

incorrect disposal of the batteries /

rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be dis-

posed of with the usual domestic waste. They may

contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to haz-

ardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The

chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows:

Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is

why you should dispose of used batteries / recharge-

able batteries at a local collection point.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality

guidelines and meticulously examined before deli-

very. In the event of product defects you have legal

rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal

rights are not limited in any way by our warranty

detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the

date of purchase. Should this product show any fault

in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the

date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at

our choice – free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.

Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe loca-

tion. This document is required as your proof of

purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product

has been damaged, or used or maintained imprope

rly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manu-

facture. This warranty does not cover product parts

subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consu-

mables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts,

e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

1. Käännä tuote ylösalaisin ja aseta se pehmeälle

pinnalle, jotta tuotteen pinta ei naarmuunnu.

2. Avaa tuotteen takaosassa olevan paristolokeron

kansi.

3. Poista tarvittaessa käytetyt paristot.

Huomautus: LCD-näyttö

ilmoittaa, milloin

paristot täytyy vaihtaa uusiin. Kun tuotteen

pariston teho on liian heikko, LCD-näyttöön

ilmestyy teksti “Lo“ (kuva C) ja tuote kytkeytyy

Tuotteen päällekytkeminen

ja painon mittaaminen

Ohje: Punnitse itsesi mahdollisuuksien mukaan

aina samaan vuorokaudenaikaan (mieluiten aamui-

sin), kun olet käynyt WC:ssä, et ole syönyt mitään

ja ilman vaatteita, jotta saamasi tulokset olisivat

vertailukelpoisia.

Huomautus: tuote täytyy kalibroida uudelleen

aina, kun vaihdat punnituspaikkaa tai uuden pariston.

Menettele tässä seuraavasti:

Asetu tuotteen päälle. Tuote näyttää virheellisen

mittaustuloksen. Astu pois astinpinnalta

. Tuotteen

kalibrointi tapahtuu nyt automaattisesti. Odota,

kunnes tuote kytkeytyy automaattisesti pois päältä.

Tuote on nyt kalibroitu.

Aseta tuote tukevalle, vaakasuoralle ja tasaiselle

alustalle.

Tuote täytyy kalibroida ennen ensimmäistä

punnitusta ja kun vaihdat punnituspaikkaa.

Toimi edellä kuvatulla tavalla.

Asetu tuotteen päälle.

Aseta molemmat jalat tuotteen päälle niin, että

paino jakautuu tasaisesti tuotteelle.

Asetu mahdollisuuksien mukaan aina samaan

kohtaan astinpinnalle ja seiso siinä liikkumatta.

Liikkuminen punnituksen aikana voi aiheuttaa

poikkeamia painossa.

Tuote aloittaa heti punnitsemisen. Kun painon

näyttö on vilkkunut 2 kertaa, näyttöön tulee

mittaustulos, kuten esimerkiksi kuvasta B näkyy.

Mitattu paino kuuluu myös kaiuttimesta

Huomautus: jos näyttöön ilmestyy „0-Ld“

(kuva D), tuote on ylikuormitettu. Noudata

180 kg:n enimmäiskuormitusta (malli

HG04777A-DE / HG04777B-DE); enint. 180 kg /

396 lb (malli HG04777A / HG04777B).

Astu pois astinpinnalta

. Mittausarvo nollau-

tuu automaattisesti n. 15 sekunnin kuluttua

arvoon „0,0“. Siihen asti mittaustulos näkyy

näytössä.

Tuote kytkeytyy automaattisesti seuraavan n.

15 sekunnin kuluttua pois päältä, kun se ei

tunnista enää liikettä tai painoa.

Huomautus: jos astinpinnalta

ei poistuta

välittömästi vaan astinpinnalle

jäädään sei-

somaan, tuote kytkeytyy automaattisesti pois

päältä noin 20 sekunnin kuluttua.

Vianmääritys

Tuotteessa on herkkiä elektronisia rakenneosia.

Siksi on mahdollista, että välittömässä läheisyy-

dessä olevat radiolähetinlaitteet häiritsevät tuo-

tetta. Jos LC-näyttöön

ilmestyy virheellisiä

lukemia, poista tällaiset laitteet tuotteen lähei-

syydestä.

Sähköstaattiset purkaukset voivat aiheuttaa

toimintahäiriöitä. Poista tällaisten toimintahäiriöide

esiintyessä paristo hetkeksi ja aseta se sitten

takaisin paikoilleen.

Puhdistus

Puhdista tuote hieman kostealla liinalla. Jos

tuote on normaalia likaisempi, voit kostuttaa

puhdistusliinan myös mietoon saippualiuokseen.

Älä koskaan upota tuotetta veteen tai muihin

nesteisiin. Muutoin tuote voi vahingoittua.

Hävittäminen

Pakkaus on valmistettu ympäristöystävällisistä

materiaaleista, jotka voidaan viedä paikalliseen

kierrätyspisteeseen.

Noudata pakkausmateriaalien jätteiden

lajittelua koskevia merkintöjä. Ne koostu-

vat lyhenteistä (a) sekä numeroista (b) ja

tarkoittavat seuraavaa: 1–7 = muovit /

20–22 = paperi ja pahvi / 80–98 =

komposiitit.

Tuote ja pakkausmateriaalit ovat kierrä-

tettäviä, hävitä ne erikseen paremman

jätteiden käsittelyn takaamiseksi. Triman-

logo koskee vain Ranskaa.

Lisätietoja käytöstä poistetun tuotteen

hävittämismahdollisuuksista saat kuntasi

tai kaupunkisi viranomaisilta.

Älä heitä käytettyä tuotetta kotitalousjät-

teisiin. Hävitä tuote ympäristöystävällisesti

toimittamalla se asianmukaiseen jätehuol-

toon. Lisätietoja keräyspaikoista ja niiden

aukioloajoista saat kuntasi viranomaisilta.

Vialliset ja käytetyt paristot / akut on kierrätettävä

direktiivin 2006/66/EY ja siihen tehtyjen muutosten

mukaisesti. Palauta paristot / akut ja / tai tuote

lähimpään keräyspisteeseen.

Paristojen / akkujen väärä

hävittämistapa aiheuttaa

ympäristövahinkoja!

Paristoja / akkuja ei saa hävittää talousjätteenä.

Ne voivat sisältää myrkyllisiä raskasmetalleja, minkä

vuoksi ne kuuluvat ongelmajätekäsittelyyn. Raskas-

metallien kemialliset merkit ovat seuraavat: Cd =

kadmium, Hg = elohopea, Pb = lyijy. Toimita tästä

syystä käytetyt paristot / akut paikalliseen keräys-

pisteeseen.

Takuu

Tuote on valmistettu huolellisesti tiukkojen laatudirek-

tiivien mukaan ja tarkistettu huolella ennen toimit

usta.

Jos tuote on virheellinen, sinulla on ostajana lakisää-

teiset oikeudet esittää vaatimuksia tuotteen myyjää

kohtaan. Seuraavassa esitetty takuu ei rajoita laki-

sääteisiä oikeuksiasi.

Tuotteelle myönnetty takuu on voimassa 3 vuotta

ostopäivästä lukien. Takuun voimassaolo alkaa

tuotteen ostopäivästä. Säilytä aina alkuperäinen

kassakuitti. Se toimii todisteena tehdystä ostoksesta.

Jos 3 vuoden sisällä tuotteen ostopäivästä alkaen tu

ot-

teesta löytyy materiaali- tai valmistusvirhe, korjaamme

tuotteen ilmaiseksi tai toimitamme tilalle uuden tuot-

teen harkintamme mukaan. Takuu raukeaa, jos tuote

on vioittunut asiattoman käytön tai huollon vuoksi.

Takuu koskee materiaali- ja valmistusvirheitä. Takuu

ei kata tuotteen osia, jotka kuluvat normaalissa käy-

tössä ja siitä syystä pidetään kuluvina osina (esim.

paristot) tai vaurioita särkyvissä osissa esim. kytki-

messä, akuissa tai lasista valmistetuissa osissa.
