REMOVABLE FIN
Fitting of the fin is recommended whenever you use your kayak in deep water (lake, sea, etc.), where it helps keep the
kayak in a straight line. Fitting of the fin is not recommended for use in shallow water or white water. The fin would be
likely to damage the bottom of the kayak in shallow water and would reduce manoeuvrability in white water. The bow and
stern lines of the kayak have been designed to ensure good handling without the fin. This fin may be added before or
after inflation. To attach, slide fin into slot on bottom of kaya. Once in place lock into place using the locking pin. (See
page 6)
ADJUSTABLE INFLATABLE SUSPENDED BUCKET SEATS
The suspended bucket seat can be adjusted to meet your needs. To locate your seats, determine the number of users
you will have in the kayak and use the SEATOGRAPHY™ (see images on page 3/4) printed on the floor and side
chambers. Note: the child seat has a shorter base and longer straps than the two adult seats provided.
Installing Seats into SEVYSPENSION™:
1. When your kayak is inflated, Locate the appropriate seat location per the SEATOGRAPHY™ graphics (S1).
2. Hook seat base hooks into SEVYSPENSION™ webbing (S2-S5).
a) Slight force may be needed to fit the seat between the two side chambers when all chambers are inflated.
3. Place clips from seat backrest into any loop in front of the furthest forward hook (S6-S8). This will be different for each
user and can be easily adjusted while using the kayak.
DRAINAGE SYSTEM
Your kayak is equipped with a drainage system at the back. The system comprises one orifice with plugs; it prevents the
lower part of the body getting wet when the kayak is used in calm water. It may be a little difficult to insert the plug in a
drain orifice. The tight fit retains the plug until it is removed, for example when the kayak is to be used in white water.
The self-draining bottom is a considerable advantage in white water: it allows rapid removal of water from inside the
kayak and thus improves its performance; it is also an additional safety feature, as a kayak filled with water is difficult to
manoeuvre.
Note: Before inflating your kayak, you can either close the drainage orifice(s) to stay dry, or open it/them to allow water
drainage.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
BEWARE OF OFFSHORE WINDS AND EBB CURRENTS!
Get informed on local regulations and hazards related to this sport and to water activities.
Obtain information from the local authorities about the area where you plan to use your kayak, tides and
currents.
Before using the product, please check it carefully.
A bad distribution of the load can destabilize the kayak and may result in a loss of control.
Do not overestimate your strength, your endurance or your abilities.
Never underestimate the forces of nature.
Always wear a Personal Flotation Device approved by proper authorities.
Do not exceed the authorized number of persons or weight.
Avoid all contact between the buoyancy tubes and sharp objects or aggressive liquids (such as acid).
Your kayak is supplied with a transport bag. Keep it out of the reach of children: suffocation hazard!

MAINTENANCE: DEFLATING – CLEANING - FOLDING – STORAGE
1. Remove oars/paddles and other accessories.
2. To deflate, unscrew the valve insert and open the valve(s) cap.
3. Clean and check the item as well as all the accessories after each use. Rinse it thoroughly making sure to remove any
residues of salt if used in salt water. Use a mild soapy solution, do not use detergents or any type of silicone-based
products. Make sure that the product is completely dry before putting it away.
4. Fold the sides into the middle, then roll it up from the opposite end of the valves (so remaining air can escape from the
valves); start again if you feel there is still some air in the tubes.
5. When fully deflated, close the plug.
6. When storing your inflatable, keep it in a clean and dry place that is not affected from major variations in temperature
and other damaging factors. You may store it deflated and rolled up in a bag or assembled and lightly inflated. Store it
away from rodents.
