1. General Information

CAUTION: These instructions provide information for physicians, nurs-

ing staff and patients. Please read these instructions for use carefully

prior to product usage. These instructions relate exclusively to the

above products, which are described in the following.

Sterilization: Products are sterilized with ethylene oxide.

Sterility can only be guaranteed when the package is

completely closed and undamaged. You may resterilize the buttons,

however, it should not be necessary in most cases.

Single-Patient Product: The TRACOE®grid and stoma buttons as well

as the accessories are medical products intended for only one patient.

Multiple use on the same patient is allowed. We strongly recommend-

ed that a spare button is kept on hand.

Duration of Use: If cared for properly, TRACOE®grid and stoma but-

tons can be used for several weeks. Buttons showing even the slight-

est damage must be replaced immediately.

Storage: The products must be stored in a cool and dry location.

Temporary storage for ≤ 30 days at ≤ +50 °C is possible. Protect the

product from sunlight and extreme cold.

Composition/Disposal: The flexible TRACOE®grid and stoma but-

tons, manufactured of high quality silicone in eight different sizes, are

supplied in a standard version as well as in a short and a long version

(please see table for dimensions). The silicone used for manufacturing

is internationally approved for medical applications. All products are

free of latex. Follow applicable national and local guidelines when dis-

posing products.

2. Product Description

2.1 General Properties

TRACOE®grid and stoma buttons feature a specially designed shape

and a high level of softness and flexibility. Therefore, they are easy to

insert and adapt well to the respective anatomical contours. The bulge

at the end of the tube ensures sufficient fixation within the tracheostoma.

The silicone used for manufacturing shows excellent tolerability. Com-

bined with high material flexibility this minimizes the risk of irritation or

trauma of the trachea as well as potential development of granulation

or scarring tissue at the tracheostoma site.

2.2 TRACOE®grid button (REF 601 to REF 603)

The TRACOE®grid button features two lateral eyes (see figure) for fix-

ation using tracheostomy neck straps (e.g. REF 903-F). The TRACOE®

grid button is supplied with a protective grid consisting of a concave

stainless steel grid (mesh size 0.8 mm) held in a round blue plastic ring

that fits exactly into the neck plate of the TRACOE buttons. The protec-

tive mesh prevents the aspiration of foreign bodies (>0.8 mm).

2.3 TRACOE®stoma button (REF 611 to REF 613)

The TRACOE®stoma button is supplied without protective grid and

without lateral eyes.

2.4 Accessory

Stopper (REF 621)

The stopper consists of a round plate that fits exactly into the neck

plate of TRACOE®buttons. For ease of handling, the plate has a cen-

tral pin on one side. The stopper may be used particularly during

weaning for temporary closure of a TRACOE®grid or stoma button if

the upper airways are clear and breathing is unobstructed.

CAUTION: Do not use with laryngectomized patients!

3. Indications

The TRACOE®grid and stoma button were developed to stabilise the

tracheostoma of patients who no longer require a tracheal tube.

4. Instructions for Use

4.1 Note

CAUTION: It is an essential requirement, that the TRACOE®grid and

stoma buttons matches with the tracheostoma diameter and length as

exactly as possible.

4.2 Insertion and Removal of TRACOE®grid and stoma buttons

TRACOE®grid and stoma buttons can be easily inserted into the tra-

cheostoma. Please fold the stoma button in half between the thumb

and index finger and insert the narrow end into the tracheostoma.

Release after insertion to allow the button tube to unfold. Push the but-

ton carefully into the stoma to complete insertion. The bulge at the end

ensures the stoma button is retained within the tracheostoma. If the

button is loose please choose a larger size or a TRACOE®grid button

which can be fixed by using a neck strap (e.g. REF 903-F) through the

lateral eyes. Remove the TRACOE®grid or stoma button by carefully

pulling it out of the tracheostoma.

4.3 Insertion and Removal of the Protective Grid

Insert the protective grid of the TRACOE®grid button before inserting it

into the tracheostoma. Pull apart the outer ring and place the protec-

tive grid into it. Removal of the protective grid can be easily handled by

pushing the outer ring of the TRACOE®grid button at both eyes in

direction to the tube. Attaching a thread noose at the outer grid-ring

prior to insertion makes it even easier to remove the grid by simply

pulling the thread. While removing the protective grid, the TRACOE®

grid button must be held tight at both eyes or the outer ring, respective-

ly. The protective grid can be inserted and removed in the same way

using the TRACOE®stoma button.

4.4 Insertion and Removal of the Stopper (REF 621)

The stopper should preferably be fitted in a TRACOE®grid button or

stoma button before the grid or stoma button is introduced into the tra-

cheostoma. This is done by pushing the outer ring of the button apart

and inserting the stopper into it. The easiest way of removing the stop-

per is by holding the outer ring on opposite sides of the button between

the fingertips of one hand and pushing it towards the tube, while using

two fingers of the other hand to grasp the pin of the stopper and

remove it.

Caution: Before inserting a stopper, care must be taken to ensure in

all cases that breathing through the larynx, throat, mouth and nose

is unobstructed. If there are signs of breathlessness, the stopper

must be removed immediately. The stopper must on no account be

used in patients following laryngectomy.

5. Cleaning and Disinfection

5.1 Cleaning

Principally, TRACOE®grid and stoma buttons, protective grid, and

stopper can be cleaned using commercially available, mild detergents.

TRACOE medical recommends to use the fully equipped TRACOE®

tube clean cleaning kits (REF 930-A or REF 930–B with cleaning pow-

der and REF 931-A or REF 931-B with concentrated cleaning liquid,

respectively) for cleaning TRACOE®grid and stoma buttons. These

sets contain cleaning tub, cleaning detergent, cleaning swabs and a

cleaning brush. Please follow the respective instructions for use.

CAUTION: The products must never be cleaned with household deter-

gents, denture cleansers or concentrated alcohol as these may have a

lasting adverse effect on the function of the product.

5.2 Disinfection

Because the upper respiratory tract is never without germs – even in

healthy individuals – we do not recommend the use of disinfection.

If, however, disinfection appears necessary, TRACOE medical can pro-

vide, upon request, a list of tested disinfectants. This list can also be

accessed on the website of TRACOE medical GmbH (www.tracoe.de).

After that, rinse the disinfected TRACOE grid or stoma button thor-

oughly using distilled water and finally dry it.

CAUTION: Under no circumstances use disinfectants that release

chlorine or substances that contain strong alkalis or phenol derivatives.

6. Patient Information Card

You will find the information card enclosed with each TRACOE®grid

and stoma button. It contains all product details (REF no., size, length,

lot no.) and should be stored separately. The card facilitates reordering

and must be attached when sending product complaints.

7. Returns

Returns of used products are accepted only if accompanied by a com-

pleted decontamination certificate. You can obtain the required form either

directly from TRACOE medical or from the website (www.tracoe.com).

1. Allgemeine Informationen

Achtung: Die nachfolgenden Anleitungen dienen der Information der

Ärzte, des Pflegepersonals und der Patienten. Vor Gebrauch der Pro-

dukte ist die Gebrauchsanleitung sorgfältig durchzulesen. Die Anlei-

tungen beziehen sich ausschließlich auf die o. g. und nachfolgend

beschriebenen Produkte.

Sterilisation: Die Produkte sind mit Ethylenoxid sterili-

siert. Sterilität ist nur bei intakter und allseitig geschlos-

sener Verpackung gewährleistet. Eine erneute Sterilisation ist mög-

lich, dürfte in den meisten Fällen jedoch nicht erforderlich sein.

Einpatientenprodukt: Die TRACOE®grid und stoma buttons sowie

das Zubehör sind medizinische Produkte, die nur für einen Patienten

bestimmt sind. Eine mehrfache Anwendung bei ein und demselben

Patienten ist zulässig. Es wird dringend empfohlen, stets einen Ersatz-

button zur Hand zu haben.

Nutzungsdauer: TRACOE®grid und stoma buttons können je nach

Pflege mehrere Wochen benutzt werden. Buttons, die auch nur eine

geringfügige Beschädigung aufweisen, müssen umgehend ersetzt

werden.

Lagerung: Die Produkte sind kühl und trocken zu lagern. Eine kurz-

zeitige Lagerung für ≤ 30 Tage bei ≤ +50 °C ist möglich. Schützen Sie

das Produkt vor Sonnenlicht und extremer Kälte.

Achtung: Die Produkte dürfen laut bundesgesetzlichen Vorschriften

(USA) nur auf ärztliches Rezept verkauft werden.

Bestandteile/Entsorgung: Die flexiblen TRACOE®grid und stoma

buttons werden aus hochwertigem Silikon in sieben Größen jeweils in

Standardlänge sowie einer kurzen und einer langen Ausführung her-

gestellt (siehe Abmessungstabelle). Das verwendete Silikonmaterial

ist für medizinische Anwendungen international zugelassen. Alle Pro-

dukte sind latexfrei. Die Entsorgung der Produkte darf nur entspre-

chend den geltenden nationalen Bestimmungen für Abfallstoffe

vorgenommen werden.

2. Produktbeschreibung

2.1 Allgemeine Eigenschaften

TRACOE®grid und stoma buttons zeichnen sich durch ihre beson-

dere Formgebung, ihre Weichheit und hohe Flexibilität aus. Sie sind

daher leicht einzuführen und passen sich den anatomischen Gege-

benheiten gut an. Durch den Wulst am Ende des Rohres wird ein aus-

reichender Halt im Tracheostoma gewährleistet. Die Verträglichkeit

des zur Herstellung verwendeten Silikonmaterials ist ausgezeichnet.

Hierdurch und durch die hohe Flexibilität des Materials wird das Risi-

ko einer Reizung oder Verletzung der Luftröhre ebenso vermindert

wie die Gefahr der Bildung von Granulations- oder Narbengewebe

am Tracheostoma.

2.2 TRACOE®grid button (REF 601 bis REF 603)

Der TRACOE®grid button verfügt über zwei seitliche Ösen (s. Abbil-

dung) zur Befestigung mit einem Kanülenband (z. B. REF 903-F). Der

TRACOE®grid button wird mit einem Schutzgitter ausgeliefert, das

aus einem gewölbten, rostfreien Stahlgitter besteht (Maschenweite

0,8 mm), das in einen runden blauen Kunststoffring eingelassen ist,

der exakt in die Halsplatte der TRACOE®buttons passt. Das Schutz-

gitter verhindert das Einatmen von Fremdkörpern (>0,8 mm).

Packungsinhalt: Jede Packung enthält einen TRACOE®

grid button mit Schutzgitter, steril verpackt, ein Kanü-

lenband (REF 903-F), eine Gebrauchsanweisung und

eine Patienten-Informationskarte.

2.3 TRACOE®stoma button (REF 611 bis REF 613)

Der TRACOE®stoma button wird ohne Schutzgitter und ohne die

Befestigungsösen geliefert.

Packungsinhalt: Jede Packung enthält einen TRACOE®

stoma button, steril verpackt, eine Gebrauchsanwei-

sung und eine Patienten-Informationskarte.

2.4 Zubehör

Verschlussstopfen (REF 621)

Der Verschlussstopfen besteht aus einer runden Platte, die exakt in

das Halsschild von TRACOE®buttons passt. Zur Handhabung enthält

die Platte in der Mitte einer Seite einen Stift. Der Verschlussstopfen

kann insbesondere im Rahmen der Entwöhnung zum vorübergehen-

den Verschluss eines TRACOE®grid bzw. stoma button bei freien

oberen Atemwegen und ungehinderter Atmung zum Einsatz kommen.

3. Indikationen

Der TRACOE®grid und stoma button wurde zur Stabilisierung des

Tracheostoma von Patienten entwickelt, die keine Trachealkanüle

mehr benötigen.

4. Gebrauchsanleitung

4.1 Hinweis

Achtung: Es ist zwingend erforderlich, dass der TRACOE®grid bzw.

stoma button der Größe des Tracheostomas nach Durchmesser und

Länge möglichst genau angepasst wird.

4.2 Einsetzen bzw. Entnahme des TRACOE®grid

bzw. stoma button

Der TRACOE®grid bzw. stoma button kann leicht und in einfacher

Weise in das Tracheostoma eingesetzt werden. Hierzu wird das flexi-

ble Rohrstück zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger auf die Hälfte

zusammengefaltet und das schmale Ende in die Tracheostoma-

öffnung eingeführt. Beim anschließenden Loslassen entfaltet sich

das Rohr des button; er kann nun vollständig in das Tracheostoma

eingeschoben werden. Durch den Wulst am Ende des Rohres ist ein

ausreichender Halt im Tracheostoma gewährleistet. Sollte der button

trotzdem nicht fest genug sitzen und evtl. ausgehustet werden, ist

entweder eine größere Ausführung oder ein TRACOE®grid button zu

verwenden, der mit Hilfe der zwei am Außenring angebrachten Ösen

und eines Kanülenbandes (z. B. REF 903-F) befestigt werden kann.

Bei der Entnahme des TRACOE®grid bzw. stoma button sollte der

Außenring leicht nach vorne gezogen und das Rohrstück - wie beim

Einsetzen - zusammengedrückt werden, bevor der button aus dem

Tracheostoma herausgezogen wird.

4.3 Einsetzen bzw. Entnahme des Schutzgitters

Das Einsetzen des Schutzgitters für den TRACOE®grid button erfolgt

am besten vor dem Einführen in das Tracheostoma. Hierzu wird der

Außenring etwas auseinander gedrückt und das Schutzgitter in den

Außenring eingeführt. Die Entnahme des Schutzgitters geschieht am

einfachsten dadurch, dass man den Außenring des TRACOE®grid

button auf den beiden Seiten, die die Ösen tragen, in Richtung des

Rohres drückt. Die Entnahme wird erleichtert, wenn man vor dem Ein-

führen des Schutzgitters am Gitterring eine Fadenschlinge befestigt,

mit der das Schutzgitter dann leicht herausgezogen werden kann.

Beim Herausziehen des Schutzgitters muss der TRACOE®grid but-

ton an den Ösen bzw. dem Außenring festgehalten werden. Das

Schutzgitter kann in identischer Weise auch beim TRACOE®stoma

button eingesetzt bzw. entnommen werden.

4.4 Einsetzen bzw. Entnahme des Verschlussstopfens (REF 621)

Das Einsetzen des Verschlussstopfens in einen TRACOE®grid button

oder stoma button erfolgt am besten vor dem Einführen desselben in

das Tracheostoma. Hierzu wird der Außenring des button auseinan-

der gedrückt und der Verschlussstopfen in diesen eingeführt. Die

Herausnahme des Verschlussstopfens geschieht am einfachsten

dadurch, dass man den Außenring des button mit einer Hand an zwei

einander gegenüberliegenden Seiten in Richtung des Rohres drückt

und mit zwei Fingern der anderen Hand den Verschlussstopfen am

Stift fasst und entnimmt.

Achtung: Vor dem Einsetzen eines Verschlussstopfens ist in jedem

Fall sicherzustellen, dass eine freie Atmung durch Kehlkopf, Rachen,

Mund und Nase möglich ist. Bei Zeichen von Atemnot ist der Ver-

schlussstopfen sofort zu entfernen. Der Verschlussstopfen darf kei-

nesfalls bei Patienten nach Laryngektomie benutzt werden.

5. Reinigung und Desinfektion

5.1 Reinigung

Die Reinigung eines TRACOE®grid und stoma button, des Schutzgit-

ters und des Verschlusstopfens ist grundsätzlich mit haushaltsübli-

chen Mitteln wie z. B. milden Detergentien möglich. TRACOE medical

empfiehlt zur Reinigung der TRACOE®grid und stoma button die Ver-

wendung eines der kompletten TRACOE®tube clean Reinigungssets

(REF 930-A bzw. REF 930-B mit Reinigungspulver oder REF 931-A

bzw. REF 931-B mit flüssigem Reinigungskonzentrat). Die Sets ent-

halten jeweils eine Reinigungsdose mit Siebeinsatz, ein Reinigungs-

mittel, Reinigungstupfer und eine Reinigungsbürste. Die jeweilige

Gebrauchsanweisung ist zu beachten.

Achtung: Die Reinigung darf keinesfalls mit aggressiven Haushalts-

mitteln, Mitteln zur Reinigung von Zahnersatz oder hochprozentigem

Alkohol durchgeführt werden, da diese die Funktion der Produkte

nachteilig beeinträchtigen können.

5.2 Desinfektion

Da die oberen Luftwege auch beim Gesunden niemals keimfrei sind,

empfehlen wir, auf den Gebrauch von Desinfektionsmitteln zu ver-

zichten.

Sollte jedoch trotzdem eine Desinfektion erforderlich scheinen, kann

TRACOE medical auf Anfrage eine Liste mit getesteten Desinfekti-

onsmitteln zur Verfügung stellen. Diese Liste kann auch auf der

Website der TRACOE medical GmbH (www.tracoe.de) abgerufen

werden.

Anschließend ist der desinfizierte TRACOE®grid bzw. stoma button

sehr gründlich mit destilliertem Wasser zu spülen und zu trocknen.

Achtung: Es dürfen keine Desinfektionsmittel, die Chlor freisetzen,

sowie Mittel, die starke Laugen oder Phenolderivate enthalten, ver-

wenden werden.

6. Patienten-Informationskarte

Jedem TRACOE®grid bzw. stoma button ist eine Informationskarte

beigelegt. Diese enthält alle Einzelheiten des Produktes (REF-Nr.,

Größe, Länge, Chargen-Nr.) und sollte separat aufbewahrt werden.

Sie erleichtert die Neubestellung und muss bei einer eventuellen

Reklamation beigefügt werden.

7. Rücksendungen

Rücksendungen gebrauchter Produkte können nur entgegen genom-

men werden, sofern diesen ein ausgefülltes Dekontaminations- Zerti-

fikat beiliegt. Dieses Formular erhalten Sie entweder bei TRACOE

medical GmbH direkt oder über die Website: www.tracoe.com.

8. Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen

Verkauf und Lieferung aller TRACOE®Produkte erfolgt ausschließlich

ATTENTION: Les instructions suivantes sont destinées à informer les

médecins, le personnel soignant et les patients. Lire attentivement ces

instructions avant d’utiliser les produits. Les présentes instructions se

rapportent exclusivement aux produits mentionnés ci-dessus et décrits

ci-après.

Stérilisation: Les produits sont stérilisés à l’oxyde d’éthy-

lène. Leur stérilité n’est garantie que si l’emballage est

demeuré intact et hermétiquement fermé sur tous les côtés. Une nou-

velle stérilisation est possible mais n’est en règle générale pas néces-

saire.

ainsi que les accessoires correspondants sont des produits médicaux,

qui sont destinés uniquement à un patient. Une utilisation multiple dans

le cas d'un seul et du même patient est admissible.

On recommande d’une manière impérative d’avoir à disposition à tout

moment un bouton de remplacement.

Durée d’utilisation: Les TRACOE®grid et stoma buttons peuvent être

utilisés selon les soins pendant une période de plusieurs semaines.

Les boutons qui présentent un dommage aussi infime qu’il soit, doivent

être immédiatement remplacés.

Stockage: Les produits doivent être stockés dans un endroit frais et

sec. Un bref stockage pendant ≤ 30 jours à ≤ +50 °C est possible.

Protéger le produit contre la lumière solaire et le froid extrême.

ATTENTION: Selon les prescriptions fédérales en vigueur (Etats-Unis),

les produits ne peuvent être vendus que sur ordonnance.

Constituants/mise au rebut: Les TRACOE®grid et stoma buttons sont

fabriqués dans un silicone haut de gamme en huit tailles, respective-

ment en trois longueurs: standard, courte et longue (voir tableau des

dimensions). Le silicone utilisé est homologué dans le monde entier

pour les applications médicales. Tous les produits sont exempts de

latex. L’élimination des produits doit être effectuée dans le respect des

prescriptions en vigueur sur le territoire national respectif pour l’élimi-

nation des déchets.

2. Description du produit

2.1 Caractéristiques générales

Les TRACOE®grid buttons et stoma buttons se distinguent par leur

forme particulière, leur douceur et leur haute flexibilité. Ils sont donc

faciles à introduire et s’adaptent parfaitement à l’anatomie du patient.

Le bourrelet à l’extrémité du tube garantit une fixation suffisante dans

le trachéostome. L’excellente tolérance du silicone utilisé pour leur

fabrication et leur haute flexibilité réduisent tant le risque d’irritation et

de lésion de la trachée que celui de formation de bourgeonnements ou

d’un excédent de tissus cicatriciels sur le trachéostome.

2.2 TRACOE®grid button (REF 601 à REF 603)

Le TRACOE®grid button présente deux oillets latéraux (voir figure)

pour sa fixation avec un collier (par ex. REF 903-F). Le TRACOE®grid

button est fourni avec une grille de protection constituée d'un grillage

d'acier inoxydable bombé (ouverture de maille 0,8 mm), sertie dans un

anneau de matière plastique bleue qui se loge exactement dans la

plaque de cou du TRACOE®button. La grille protectrice empêche l'as-

piration fortuite de corps étrangers (>0,8 mm).

emballage stérile, un collier (REF 903-F), des instruc-

tions d’utilisation et une carte d’information du patient.

2.3 TRACOE®stoma button (REF 611 à REF 613)

Le TRACOE®stoma button est fourni sans grille de protection et sans

oillets de fixation.

Contenu de l’emballage: Chaque paquet contient un

TRACOE®stoma button en emballage stérile, des ins-

tructions d’utilisation et une carte d’information du

patient.

2.4 Accessoires

Bouchon obturateur (REF 621)

Le bouchon obturateur se compose d'une plaque ronde qui s'adapte

exactement dans la plaque de cou du TRACOE®button. La plaque

ronde est dotée en son centre d'une tige qui facilite l'utilisation du bou-

chon obturateur. Celui-ci peut être en particulier utilisé dans le cadre

du sevrage de la canule, pour fermer temporairement un TRACOE®

grid ou stoma button, à condition que les voies respiratoires supé-

rieures du patient soient libres et que rien ne gêne la respiration.

3. Indications

Les TRACOE®grid et stoma buttons ont été conçus pour la stabilisa-

tion du trachéostome chez les patients ne nécessitant plus de canule

trachéale.

4. Mode d'emploi

4.1 Indication importante

ATTENTION: Il est absolument nécessaire d’adapter le diamètre et la

longueur du TRACOE®grid button ou, suivant le cas, stoma button le

plus exactement possible aux dimensions du trachéostome.

4.2 Mise en place et retrait du TRACOE®grid / stoma button

Le TRACOE®grid / stoma button se laisse facilement et selon un pro-

cédé simple mettre en place dans le trachéostome. Il suffit de plier la

partie en tube flexible en deux entre le pouce et l’index et d’introduire

la partie étroite dans l’orifice du trachéostome. Lorsque le tube du but-

ton est ensuite lâché, il se déplie et peut maintenant être entièrement

introduit dans le trachéostome. Le bourrelet à l’extrémité du tube

assure un maintien suffisant dans le trachéostome. Si le button n’est

pourtant pas assez bien ajusté et risque d’être expulsé lorsque le

patient tousse, il est indiqué d’utiliser un button de taille supérieure ou

un TRACOE®grid button pouvant être fixé à l’aide des deux oillets de

son anneau externe et d’un collier (par ex. REF 903-F).

Lors du retrait du TRACOE®grid button ou, suivant le cas, stoma but-

ton, l’anneau externe doit être légèrement tiré vers l’avant et la partie

tube, comme lors de l’introduction, comprimée entre les doigts avant

de retirer le button du trachéostome.

4.3 Mise en place et retrait de la grille de protection

Le mieux est de mettre la grille en place sur le TRACOE®grid button

avant d’introduire celui-ci dans le trachéostome. Il suffit d’étirer un peu

l’anneau externe et d’y introduire la grille de protection. Pour retirer la

grille, le plus simple est de comprimer l’anneau externe du TRACOE®

grid button sur les deux côtés portant les oillets en direction du tube.

Le retrait de la grille est plus facile si on prend le soin, avant de la met-

tre en place, de fixer un fil en boucle sur l’anneau de la boucle à l’aide

duquel la grille se laissera aisément détacher. Il faut maintenir le

TRACOE®grid button par les oillets ou l’anneau externe pour retirer la

grille. La grille de protection est mise en place et retirée selon le même

procédé sur le TRACOE®stoma button.

4.4 Mise en place et retrait du bouchon obturateur (REF 621)

Le mieux est de placer le bouchon dans le TRACOE®grid button ou

stoma button avant d'introduire ce dernier dans le trachéostome. Il faut

étirer un peu l'anneau externe du button et y introduire le bouchon

obturateur. Pour retirer le bouchon obturateur, le plus simple est de

comprimer l'anneau externe du button d'une main en appuyant sur

deux côtés diamétralement opposés en direction du tube, puis de sai-

sir le bouchon obturateur par la tige avec deux doigts de l'autre main

pour l'extraire.

Attention: Avant la mise en place du bouchon obturateur, il est impé-

ratif de vérifier que le patient peut respirer librement à travers le

larynx, le pharynx, la bouche et le nez. Le bouchon obturateur doit

être retiré dès les premiers signes de détresse respiratoire. N'utiliser

en aucun cas le bouchon obturateur chez les patients laryngectomi-

sés.

5. Nettoyage et désinfection

5.1 Nettoyage

Le nettoyage d’un TRACOE®grid / stoma button, de la grille de protec-

tion et du bouchon obturateur peut en principe être effectué à l’aide de

produits d’entretien usuels, par exemple des détergents peu agressifs.

Pour le nettoyage des TRACOE®grid / stoma button, TRACOE medical

conseille l’utilisation de l’un des kits de nettoyage complets TRACOE®

tube clean (soit REF 930-A ou –B avec nettoyant en poudre, soit REF

931-A ou –B avec nettoyant concentré liquide). Chacun de ces kits

contient une boîte de nettoyage avec panier perforé, un nettoyant, des

tampons et une brosse de nettoyage. Il faut respecter les instructions

respectivement données pour leur utilisation.
