Synchronisation
1. Place theunits close to eachother.
2. Make sure that thechannel selector (26) is set to channel 1.
3. Synchronisation will begin automatically once all batteries are inplace.
4. Theweather station will automatically display readings from channel 1 (if CH 1
does not show (3), press [ CH/▲ ] repeatedly until CH 1 shows).
5. If theoutdoor temperature shows (readings from thesensor) on theweather
station’s display, synchronisation is complete.
6. Theunits can now be placed at their desired locations. Note: Maxrange: 30m.
Adding additional sensors using channels 2 and 3
Theweather station can be supplemented by theaddition of two extra sensors
(soldseparately). Makesure that each sensor is assigned its own channel.
1. Choose asensor that you wish to broadcast on channel 2 and open its battery
compartment.
2. Set thechannel selector (26) to channel 2.
3. Observe themarkings on thebottom of thebattery compartment and insert
2×AAA/LR03 batteries.
4. Refit thebatterycover.
5. Press and hold in [ CH/▲ ] until thesignal icon (4) begins toflash. Theweather
station
will begin searching for theoutdoor sensor.
6. Press [ CH/▲ ] repeatedly on theweather station until CH 2 appears (3).
7. After ashort moment, thereadings from channel 2 will appear on theweather station.
8. Repeat thesame procedure for setting another sensor to channel 3, if needed.
Placement/mounting
Weather station
• Theweather station has integrated temperature and moisture sensors. Becareful
when placing theunit so that it is not located near heaters, cookers, or other heat
sources.
• Theweather station can be used with its table stand (23) or hung on awall using
its eyelet (22).
• Avoid placing theunit next to metal objects such as metal window frames as this
may cause interference with reception.
Sensor unit
• Place thesensor in alocation that is protected from direct sunlight andrain.
• Mount thesensor at least 2.5 m above ground, if possible.
• Fasten ascrew to thewall and hang up thesensor from its eyelet (25).
