Charger operation
Before the first use of the grease gun charge the battery for 12 hour.
Always use a battery pack until a drop in tool performance is noticed before recharging it.
Discharging the battery pack beyond this point may damage the pack.
Recharging a battery pack before this condition will reduce the packs working life.
To start charging, press the “SET” button on the charger. The battery pack is fully recharged after approximately
1-2 hours, when the green light is lit.
Never charge the battery pack more than 15 hours.
NOTE! Battery temperature will increase during and shortly after use.
Batteries may not accept a full charge if they are charged immediately after use.
DO NOT CHARGE LEAKING OR DAMAGE BATTERIES.
Grease filling
Always prime the grease gun after refilling it and before using it to lubricate grease points. (See priming
instructions).
How to load your grease gun with a lubricant cartridge
Unscrew the cylinder from the grease gun.
Pull back the follower rod and lock it into place.
Remove the plastic cap from the end of the grease cartridge and insert it, open end first, into the barrel.
Remove the tabbed seal from the cartridge.
Screw the barrel onto the gun and release the follower rod.
To convert gun to allow filling from bulk container or filler pump
Unscrew the rear cap from the tube and pull the follower handle to extract the follower rod and spring from the
tube.
Flip the rubber follower lip from rear to front.
NOTE: the follower resembles a cup. When the gun is assembled for use with bulk lubricant, the cup
opens towards the pump assembly.
Reassemble the tube and gun.
To fill the gun from bulk container
Unscrew the grease cylinder from the gun.
Insert the head of the cylinder below the surface of the grease.
Slowly pull the follower rod outward from the cylinder, making sure no air is pulled into the cylinder.
When the rod is fully extended, lock it into place.
Screw the cylinder onto the gun, tightening it securely.
Unlock the rod from the end cap. This will push the follower rod into the barrel.
Clean any excess grease from the gun.
