These assembly instructions explain how to mount the Slow Down Brake on the Carl-Oskar and Rebel
rollators.
General information
The Slow Down Brake fits all widths and heights of the Carl-Oskar and Rebel rollators. It can also be
mounted on Carl-Oskar RA and Walking Table, Rebel RA and Walking Table as well as on Carl-Oskar for
heavy users and Rebel for heavy users.
Assembly Instructions
The Slow Down Brake is delivered in pairs, a
brake for the right rear wheel and a brake for
the left rear wheel. The knob on the side of
the brake must be mounted on the outside
of the rollator frame. (picture 1)
Unscrew the knob that holds it together
the clamp. (picture 2)
Insert the loose cassette with the
smaller wheel at the bottom of the Slow
Down Brake. It will be loose until the
brake is mounted on the rollator. The
upper adjustment screws must be fully
unscrewed before the Slow Down Brake is
fitted (Fig. 3)

Open the clamp and ensure that the smaller
cassette remains in the Slow Down Brake
and that the smaller wheel in the cassette
rests against the rollator’s rear tire. (picture
4)
The distance between the lower edge of the
Slow Down Brake and the upper part of the
rear fork should be approximately 2 cm.

Tighten the knob on the side so that the
brake is firmly attached to the frame and
the small wheel rests against the rear tire,
to get the desired resistance on the wheel.
Adjust the hardness with the upper knob.
Lock the upper knob with the wing nut. Test
the rollator with the SloW Down Brake to
ensure that the resistance is as desired.

Den här monteringsanvisningen förklarar hur släpbromsen ska monteras på rollatorerna Carl-Oskar och
Rebel.
Allmän information
Släpbromsen passar på alla bredder och höjder av rollatorerna Carl-Oskar och Rebel. Den kan även
monteras på Carl-Oskar RA och Gåbord, Rebel RA och Gåbord samt på Carl-Oskar för tunga brukare och
Rebel för tunga brukaren.
Monteringsanvisning
Släpbromsen levereras i par, en broms för
höger bakhjul och en broms för vänster
bakhjul. Vredet på sidan av släpbromsen
skall vara monterat på utsidan av rollatorns
ram. (bild 1)
Skruva loss vredet som håller ihop
klämman. (bild 2)
För in den lösa kassetten med det
mindre hjulet i botten på släpbromsen.
Den kommer vara rörlig fram tills att
bromsen monteras på rollatorn. De
övre justeringsskuvarna skall vara helt
uppskruvade innan släpbromsen monteras.

Öppna klamman och säkerställ att den
mindre kassetten är kvar i släpbromsen och
att det mindre hjulet i kassetten ligger mot
rollatorns bakdäck. (bild 4)
Avståndet mellan nederkanten på
släpbromsen och överdelen på bakgaffeln
skall vara cirka 2 cm. (bild 5)
Dra åt vredet på sidan så att bromsen
sitter stadigt fast på ramen och det lilla
hjulet ligger an mot bakdäcket, för att få
det önskade trögheten på hjulet. Justera
hårdheten med det övre vredet. Lås den
övre ratten med vingmuttern. Prova att
rollatorn rullar som önskas. (bild 6)
Upprepa denna process på det den andra
sidan.
