Mounting instructions
1.
Palla upp MC:n så att bakhjulet hänger fritt.
Demontera sadel och sidokåpor.
2.
Demontera ljuddämparna.
3.
Skruva loss en av axelns ändmuttrar i länksystemet.
Lossa låsskruvarna. Lyft lite försiktigt på bakhjulet
och dra/tryck ut axeln.
4.
För att komma åt att ta bort standard
hydraulförspännaren måste man lossa batteriboxen
och luftboxen på höger sida.
5.
Lossa övre stötdämparskruven, lyft bakhjulet och
demontera stötdämparen nedåt.
6.
Montering av Öhlin-stötdämparen:
Starta med att föra upp hydraulförspännaren och
gasbehållaren. Tag ut förspännaren och
gasbehållaren till höger (se skiss). Montera övre
stötdämparskruven.
7.
Montera hydraulförspännaren och gasbehållare enl.
skiss.
8.
Montera ihop länksystemet i omvänd ordning mot
isärtagningen.
9.
Se till att samtliga skruvar är åtdragna och att inga
frigångsproblem finns när hjulet fjädrar in.
10.
Montera sadel och sidokåpor.
1.
Put the motorcycle on a stand so that the rear wheel
is off the ground. Remove seat and side covers.
2.
Remove the silencers.
3.
Remove one of the nuts on the axel in the linkage.
Loosen the locking screws. Lift the rear wheel
carefully and push/pull the axel out.
4.
To be able to remove the standard preload adjuster
you have to remove the battery box and the air box
on the right side.
5.
Remove the upper shock mounting screw, lift the
rear wheel and remove the shockabsorber
downwards.
6.
Mounting of the Öhlin-shockabsorber:
Start with pulling up the preload adjuster and the
gas reservoir to the right side. See fig. Mount the
upper shockabsorber bolt.
7.
Mount the preload adjuster and gas reservoir. See
fig.
8.
Assemble the linkage in reverse order to
disassenbling.
9.
Check that all bolts and nuts are tightened and that
there are no clearance problems when the rear wheel
moves.
10.
Mount side covers and seat.
