• Do not open theelectrical box or access inside DHWT

withoutdisconnectingthemainpowersupply.

• IncaseofreTurnOFFthemainswitchandcarryoutthe

necessaryactionstoextinguishthereatonce.Inthat

casecontactyourservicecontractor.

• ItmustensuredthatDHWTcannotoperateaccidentally

withoutwaterneitherwithairinsidehydraulicsystem.

• DHWTapplianceisintendedtobeinstalledinanindoor

place.

• DHWT installation mustbe done by professional insta-

llers.

• Installthe DHWTwithsufcient clearancearound itfor

operationandmaintenanceasshowninthefollowing-

gures.

• InstalltheDHWTwheregoodventilationisavailable.Do

not install the DHWT where there is a high level of oil

mist,saltyairorsulphurousatmosphere.

• Working with no sufcient ventilation, in an enclosed

space,shouldcauseoxygendeciency.Toxicgasshould

beproducedwhencleaningagentisheatedtohightem-

peratureby,e.g.,beingexposedtore.

• DonotinstallDHWTnearanyammablesubstance.

• WheninstallingsomedevicenexttoDHWT,keepclearan-

cebetweenDHWTandanyotherobstacleofmorethan

500mm.

waterthecontrolpilotlight(11)lightsupredandblinks

onandoff.

• lfthepilotlight(11)isgreen,thisshowsthatthestorage

heaterisreceivingaprotectivecurrent.lfthepilotlightis

notonorlightsupredandblinks,checktheconnections,

contacts and mains supply. lf this anomaly continues,

contactthetterorourCustomerTechnicalServiceDe-

partment.

• In the case of vertically installed storage heaters from

whichwater isnotgoingto beextractedfor periodsof

morethan3months,werecommendttinganautomatic

purgerattheD.H.W.outlet.

• lfthestorageheaterisinstalledhorizontally,werecom-

mendtheextractionofwateratleastonceevery3mon-

ths.

• Thepotentiostat(3)andconnectingwires(4)mustnotbe

disconnected,exceptwhenthestorageheaterisemptied.

• Donotdisconnecttheprotectionsystemduringperiods

ofabsense(holidays,etc.).

• Occasionally check that the pilot light is working co-

rrectly(11).
