• The brewed coffee in the jug and the grounds in the filter are very hot. Handle
them with care to avoid scalding.
• If the coffee fails to drain into the jug during the brewing cycle causing
overflows, do not open or touch the filter holder. Unplug the coffee maker,
and wait for it to cool down before handling.
Paper filter should be purchased by end user.

increase. The temperature control device will cut off the power automatically at
the certain temperature. This appliance is also equipped with a second
temperature protection. In case the temperature control device is not
functioning properly, the fuse device will cut off the power. Unplug the
appliance at once.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Your coffee maker must be cleaned when you notice any excessive steaming or
the brewing time increases considerably. This condition is caused by a build-up
of lime and mineral deposits from your water. If the pumping action stops
before all the water has been pumped out of the coffee maker, then it requires
cleaning. The frequency of cleaning depends on the hardness of the water used.
The following table gives suggested cleaning intervals.
• Soft water, every 6 months.
• Medium water, every 2-3 months.
• Hard water, every 6-8 weeks.
Pour one litre of undiluted white household vinegar into your coffee maker‘s
water tank.
