und/oder Verändern des Gerätes nicht gestattet. Um einen sicheren Betrieb mit dem

Gerät zu gewährleisten, müssen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise, Warnvermerke und

das Kapitel "Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung" unbedingt beachten.

WARNUNG

Beachten Sie vor dem Gebrauch des Gerätes bitte folgende Hinweise:

| Vermeiden Sie einen Betrieb des Gerätes in der Nähe von elektrischen

Schweißgeräten, Induktionsheizern und anderen elektromagnetischen Feldern.

| Nach abrupten Temperaturwechseln muss das Gerät vor dem Gebrauch zur

Stabilisierung ca. 30 Minuten an die neue Umgebungstemperatur angepasst

werden um den IR-Sensor zu stabilisieren.

| Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht längere Zeit hohen Temperaturen aus.

| Vermeiden Sie staubige und feuchte Umgebungsbedingungen.

| Messgeräte und Zubehör sind kein Spielzeug und gehören nicht in Kinderhände!

| In gewerblichen Einrichtungen sind die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften des

Verbandes der gewerblichen Berufsgenossenschaften für elektrische Anlagen

und Betriebsmittel zu beachten.

Das Gerät ist nur für die in der Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen Anwendungen bestimmt.

Eine andere Verwendung ist unzulässig und kann zu Unfällen oder Zerstörung des Gerätes

führen. Diese Anwendungen führen zu einem sofortigen Erlöschen jeglicher Garantie- und

Gewährleistungsansprüche des Bedieners gegenüber dem Hersteller.

Um das Gerät vor Beschädigung zu schützen, entfernen Sie bitte bei längerem

Nichtgebrauch des Gerätes die Batterien.

Diese Bedienungsanleitung wurde mit großer Sorgfalt erstellt. Für die Richtigkeit und

Vollständigkeit der Daten, Abbildungen und Zeichnungen wird keine Gewähr übernommen.

Entsorgung

Sehr geehrter Testboy-Kunde, mit dem Erwerb unseres Produktes haben Sie die Möglichkeit, das

Gerät nach Ende seines Lebenszyklus an geeignete Sammelstellen für Elektroschrott

zurückzugeben.

Die WEEE regelt die Rücknahme und das Recycling von Elektroaltgeräten.

Hersteller von Elektrogeräten sind dazu verpflichtet, Elektrogeräte, die verkauft

werden, kostenfrei zurückzunehmen und zu recyceln. Elektrogeräte dürfen dann

nicht mehr in die „normalen“ Abfallströme eingebracht werden. Elektrogeräte sind

separat zu recyceln und zu entsorgen. Alle Geräte, die unter diese Richtlinie

Bedienung

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für den Testboy® TV 341 entschieden haben.

Dieses Feuchtemessgerät wird zum Messen des Feuchtegehalts von Holz und Baumaterial

sowie zur Messung der Lufttemperatur verwendet.

Inbetriebnahme

Den „POWER“ Taster betätigen, um das Messgerät ein/aus-zuschalten.

Nach 10 Minuten Inaktivität schaltet sich das Messgerät automatisch aus.

Voreinstellung und Selbstprüfung:

Langes Drücken (ca.5 Sek.) des „POWER“ Tasters gelangt man in die Grundeinstellungen.

Mit ▲ die Einheit für die Temperaturmessung (°C/°F) wählen und „Mode“ drücken, um zu

bestätigen und die Selbstprüfung zu starten. Im Display erscheint für einige Sekunden „---“.

Wenn nach abgeschlossener Selbstprüfung „PAS“ erscheint, ist das Feuchtemessgerät in

gutem Zustand. Durch erneutes drücken des „Mode“ Tasters ist das Gerät betriebsbereit.

Wenn „NO“ angezeigt wird, schicken Sie das Gerät an uns zur weiteren Überprüfung.

Voreinstellung und Selbstprüfung nach jedem Batteriewechsel durchführen.

Folgende Symbole erscheinen am Display: (Holz), (Baumaterial).

Bei unbekanntem Material wählen Sie Material 1.

Um eine exakte Messung sicherzustellen, muss die Messung an verschiedenen

Stellen wiederholt werden. Die Messspitzen in das Material einstechen. Die Hände

und andere Störquellen von den Messspitzen fernhalten.

Anzeige von aktuellem und Höchst- und Tiefstwert

Durch Drücken von „Mode“ werden nacheinander der aktuelle Wert (HOLD), Höchstwert (MAX)

und Tiefstwert (MIN) angezeigt.

Höchst- und Tiefstwert gelten ab dem Einschalten oder Zurücksetzen des Messgerätes.

Batteriewechsel

Die Batterien müssen erneuert werden, wenn im Display angezeigt wird. Achten Sie beim

Einsetzen der neuen Batterien auf die richtige Polarität!

Nur geschlossenes Gerät in Betrieb nehmen!

Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Auch in Ihrer Nähe befindet sich eine

Sammelstelle!

Wartung

Das Gerät benötigt bei Betrieb gemäß der Bedienungsanleitung keine besondere Wartung.

Reinigung

Sollte das Gerät durch den täglichen Gebrauch schmutzig geworden sein, kann das Gerät mit

einem feuchten Tuch und etwas mildem Haushaltsreiniger gereinigt werden. Niemals scharfe

Reiniger oder Lösungsmittel zur Reinigung verwenden.

Never point the laser beam towards the eyes directly or indirectly, via reflective

surfaces. Laser radiation can cause irreparable damage to the eyes. The laser

beam must be deactivated when measuring close to people.

General safety notes

WARNING

Unauthorised modification and/or changes to the instrument are not permitted, for

reasons of safety and approval (CE). In order to ensure safe and reliable operation

using the instrument, you must always observe the safety instructions, warnings and

the information contained in the section “Intended use”.

WARNING

Please observe the following information before using the instrument:

| Do not operate the instrument anywhere near electrical welders, induction

heaters or other electromagnetic fields.

| Further to abrupt temperature fluctuation, the instrument must be allowed to

adjust to the new ambient temperature for approx. 30 minutes before using it,

in order to stabilise the IR sensor.

| Do not expose the instrument to high temperatures for a long period of time.

| Avoid dusty and humid environments.

| Measuring instruments and their accessories are not toys, and must be kept out

of the reach of children!

| In industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electrical systems

and equipment, established by the employer's liability insurance association,

Intended use

The instrument is intended strictly for use in applications described in the operating instructions.

Any other usage is considered improper and forbidden, and can result in accidents or the

destruction of the instrument. Any such application will result in the immediate expiry of all

guarantee and warranty claims on the part of the operator against the manufacturer.

Remove the batteries if the instrument is not in use for a long period of time,

in order to protect the instrument from damage.

We assume no liability for damages to property or personal injury caused by

improper handling or failure to observe the safety instructions. Any warranty claim

expires in such cases. An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates safety notices in

the operating instructions. Read the instructions completely before beginning the

initial commissioning. This instrument is CE-approved and thus fulfils the required

guidelines.

Disposal

Dear Testboy customer: purchasing our product gives you the option of returning the instrument

to suitable collection points for waste electrical equipment at the end of its lifespan.

The WEEE directive regulates the return and recycling of electrical appliances.

Manufacturers of electrical appliances are obliged to take back and recycle all

electrical appliances free of charge. Electrical devices may then no longer be

disposed of through conventional waste disposal channels. Electrical appliances

must be recycled and disposed of separately. All equipment subject to this

directive is marked with this logo.

Disposal of used batteries

As an end user, you are legally obliged (battery law) to return all used batteries;

disposal with normal domestic waste is prohibited!

Batteries containing contaminant material are labelled with adjacent symbols

indicating the prohibition of disposal with normal domestic waste.

The abbreviations used for the respective heavy metals are:

You can return your used batteries free of charge to collection points in your

Operation

Thank you for purchasing the Testboy® TV 341.

This hygrometer is used to measure the content of moisture in wood and construction material,

as well as for measuring the air temperature.

Commissioning

In order to switch on the measuring instrument, activate the button “POWER”.

After 10 minutes of inactivity, the measuring instrument automatically switches off.

Presetting and self-test:

Prolonged pressing (approx.5 sec.) of the button “POWER” calls up the basic settings.

Using ▲, select the unit for the temperature measurement (°C/°F) and press “Mode” in order

to confirm and start the self-test. The character “---” appears on the display for a few seconds.

If “PAS” appears after the self-test is completed, the hygrometer is in a good condition.

By again pressing the button “Mode”, the instrument is ready for operation. If “NO” is

indicated, send the instrument to us for further checking.

Carry out presetting and self-test each time after replacing the battery.

Tile

In order to ensure an exact measurement, the measurement must be repeated at

different positions. Insert the measurement probes into the material. Keep the hands

and other sources of interference away from the measurement probes.

Indication of the highest and lowest value

By pressing “Mode”, the actual value (HOLD), highest value (MAX) and lowest value (MIN) are

indicated consecutively.

The highest and lowest value apply from switching on or resetting the measurement instrument.

Replacing the battery

Replace the batteries when is shown on the display. When inserting the new batteries,

ensure that the polarity is correct!

Only commission instruments that are closed!

Batteries must not be disposed of with normal domestic waste. There will be

a collection point near you!

Maintenance

The instrument does not require special maintenance when used as specified in these operating

instructions.

Cleaning

Use a damp cloth and mild household detergent to clean the instrument should it become soiled

through daily use. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents to clean the instrument.

Utilisation

Nous vous remercions d'avoir acheté notre Testboy® TV 341.

Cet hygromètre est utilisé pour mesurer l’humidité contenue dans les bois et matériaux de

construction, ainsi que pour mesurer la température de l’air.

Mise en service

Appuyer sur la touche « POWER » pour allumer / éteindre l’appareil de mesure.

L’appareil de mesure s'éteint automatiquement après 10 minutes d’inactivité.

Préréglage et contrôle automatique :

Une pression longue (env. 5 sec.) sur la touche « POWER » permet d’accéder aux réglages de

base. Sélectionner l’unité de mesure de la température avec ▲(°C/°F) avec ▲ et appuyer sur

« Mode » pour confirmer et démarrer le contrôle automatique. « --- » apparaît à l'écran pendant

quelques secondes. Si « PAS » apparaît après la fin du contrôle automatique, cela signifique

que l’hygromètre est en bon état. Une nouvelle pression sur la touche « Mode » rend l’appareil

opérationnel. Si « NO » apparaît, nous renvoyer l’appareil pour un contrôle approfondi.

Procéder au préréglage et au contrôle automatique après chaque remplacement

des piles.

Si le matériau est inconnu, sélectionner le matériau 1.

Afin de garantir une mesure précise, la mesure doit être répétée à différents endroits.

Enfoncer les pointes de mesure dans le matériau. Garder les mains et autres

sources d’interférence éloignées des pointes de mesure.

Affichage de la valeur actuelle, de la valeur la plus élevée

et de la valeur la plus basse

La touche « Mode » permet d’afficher l’une après l’autre la valeur actuelle (HOLD), la valeur la

plus élevée (MAX) et la valeur la plus basse (MIN).

La valeur la plus élevée et la valeur la plus basse mesurées sont celles depuis l’allumage ou la

réinitialisation de l’appareil de mesure.

Remplacement des piles

Les piles doivent être remplacées lorsque apparaît à l’écran. Veiller à la polarité des piles

lors de la mise en place des nouvelles piles !

Ne mettre l'appareil en service que lorsqu'il est fermé !

Les piles ne peuvent pas être jetées dans les ordures ménagères. Vous trouverez

un centre de collecte proche de chez vous !

Entretien

S'il est utilisé conformément aux instructions de service, l'appareil ne requiert aucun entretien

particulier.

Nettoyage

Si l'appareil est sali lors de son utilisation quotidienne, il peut être nettoyé avec un chiffon humide

et un peu de détergent ménager doux. Ne jamais utiliser de produits agressifs ou solvants pour le

nettoyage.
