Wipe the interior of the glass jug with a soft
damp sponge or rinse with warm water.
Wipe the exterior of the glass jug with a soft
damp cloth to clean.
WARNING
Never immerse or wash exterior of glass jug
under running water.
NOTE
Do not use chemicals, steel wool, or abrasive
cleaners to clean the inside or outside of the
glass jug as these may scratch the surface.
To remove the build-up of tannin; the
astringent chemical constituent of tea,
remove the tea basket, ll the glass jug
with water up to the MAX mark, bring water
to the boil and allow to cool for one minute.
Add the contents of the Sage Tea Maker
Cleaner (available at Sage web page) and

Empty tea maker, rell with fresh water
and bring water to the boil. Repeat this
step again then rinse the inside of the
glass jug thoroughly. Dry thoroughly with
a soft, lint-free cloth before using.
NOTE
Through regular use over time, scale build-up
can aect the performance and the life of the
Tea Maker™ Compact. Lime and phosphate
are common forms of scale that can damage
your Sage Tea Maker™ Compact. Lime
scale, a harmless mineral, comes in the
appearance of white-coloured or rusty
looking build up on the inner walls and inner
base of the glass jug. Phosphate scale can’t
be seen; however it can cause the water to
appear cloudy when heated. To prevent scale
from damaging your Tea Maker™ Compact,
ensure to descale the glass jug regularly.
Use the Sage Descaler (available at Sage
web page) and follow the instructions.

sikkerhedskontakt for reststrøm
ved brug af alle elektriske appa-
rater. Det anbefales at bruge
sikkerhedskontakter med en
maksimal arbejdsstrøm på ikke
over 30 mA. Kontakt en elektriker
for at få professionel hjælp.
Glaskanden må kun bruges
sammen med den medfølgende
sokkel. Brug den ikke oven på et
komfur.
Apparatet er ikke beregnet til
brug ved hjælp af en ekstern
timer eller separat system til
fjernbetjening.

i brug, da varm damp kan skolde.
Vær meget forsigtig, når du ytter
glaskanden med varm væske.
Vær forsigtig, når du hælder vand
fra glaskanden, da kogende
vand og damp kan skolde.
Hæld ikke vandet for hurtigt ud.
For ikke at risikere at blive skoldet
må du aldrig fylde kanden til
over WATER MAX-linjen (når du
koger vand) eller TEA MAX-linjen
(når du brygger te).
Benyt ikke apparatet uden vand.
Fyld altid glaskanden op til
mindst MIN-markeringen.

Glaskanden er særligt behand-
let for at gøre glasset stærkere,
mere modstandsdygtigt og
sikrere end almindelig glas.
Men den kan dog gå i stykker.
Hvis den falder på gulvet eller
bliver slået ekstremt hårdt,
kan den gå i stykker eller blive
svækket, så den på et senere
tidspunkt risikerer at gå i mange
små stykker uden nogen synlig
grund.

Skyl
omhyggeligt, og tør grundigt.
ADVARSEL
Nedsænk aldrig bunden af glaskanden,
soklen, strømledningen eller strømstikket
i vand eller udsæt disse dele for fugt.
3. Placer soklen på en plan, tør overade.
4. Fyld glaskanden op til WATER MAX-linjen
(1000 ml) (uden teltret), og sæt den på
soklen. Sæt låget fast på glaskanden.
ADVARSEL
Fyld aldrig glaskanden med iskoldt vand. Lad
Tea Maker™ Compact køle af, før du fylder
den igen.

BRYGNING AF TE
1. Fyld glaskanden med den ønskede
mængde vand. Sørg for at fylde til over
MIN-linjen og op til eller under MAX-linjen.
Bemærk, at MAX-linjen når du brygger te,
er 800 ml.
2. Sæt teltret på en plan, tør overade.
Fjern låget på teltret ved at løfte det
op fra siderne.
3. Brug den medfølgende te-måleske til
at fylde teltret med teblade. Som en
tommelngerregel skal du normalt
beregne 1 teskefuld teblade pr. kop/250 ml
vand, men det afhænger også af
instruktionerne på tepakken og din
personlige smag.
Forholdet mellem vand og te
500 ml 2 portioner
750 ml 3 portioner
4. Sæt låget på teltret og tjek, at det sidder
ordentligt fast.
