We congratulate you on the purchase of your new de-

vice. You have selected a high quality product. The in-

structions for use are a part of the product. They contain

important information about safety, use and disposal. Before using

the product, please familiarise yourself with all the operating and

safety instructions. Only use the product as described and for the

indicated purpose. When passing this product on to others, please

be sure to include all of its documentation.

Intended use

This product is designed only for use indoors in dry and

enclosed rooms.

This product is to be solely used within private households

and is not intended for commercial use. This product is a

decorative light. Do not use this light as a nightlight. It is

not intended to be used as room lighting. This is a specialist product,

as the chromaticity values lie outside the ranges stated in brackets.

Chromaticity: (x<0.270 or x > 0.530); (y<-2.172 x² or y >-2.3172

x² + 2.3653 x -0.1595). The item is only suitable for use as a deco-

rative light, as the chromaticity coordinates of the item are in accord-

ance with Regulation (EU) 2015 / 1428, Article 3, Paragraph 2 and

it is not authorized for other uses. Other uses outside of those de-

scribed here are not permitted.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging materials.

The packaging material poses a suﬀocation hazard. Children

frequently underestimate the dangers. Please always keep the

product out of the reach of children.

This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as

well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-

pacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as

they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product

and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to

play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not

be performed by children without supervision.

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric

shock

Check the product for damage beforehand every time you use

it. Never use the product if it is damaged in any way.

CAUTION!

The product contains no parts which can be serviced by the

user. Never allow the live power leads and contacts to come

into contact with water or other liquids.

Never open any of the electrical equipment or insert objects

into these. This will pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.

Do not install the light on damp or conductive surfaces. Protect

the product from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot sur-

faces.

The product is not a toy! It may only be used under adult super-

vision. Always keep children away from the packaging material

and small parts which could easily be swallowed.

Prevent fire and

injury hazards

This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by

the user.

The LEDs cannot be replaced. If the LEDs cease to function at

the end of their operational life, the entire item must be replaced.

Do not look into the LED from a close distance during operation.

Do not look at the LED with an optical instrument (e.g. magniﬁer).

For your safety

Do not leave the product or packaging material lying unat-

tended. The packaging material poses a suﬀocation hazard.

Install the product so that it is protected from dirt and excessive

heating.

Always be attentive! Always pay attention to what you are

doing and always proceed with caution.

Never use the product if you are having diﬃculty concentrating

or do not feel well.

Before use, familiarise yourself with all the instructions and

diagrams in these instructions, as well as with the product itself.

In order to disconnect the product completely from the power

supply, the batteries must be removed from it.

Prevent mechanical stress to the light!

Only use batteries speciﬁed in the chapter „Technical Data.“.

Avoid damage to eyes! Never look directly at the LED.

Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children.

If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION!

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit

batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Over-

heating, ﬁre or bursting can be the result.

Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into ﬁre or water.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable

batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which

could aﬀect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators /

direct sunlight.

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the

event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly ﬂush the aﬀected

area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical

attention.

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!

Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can

cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective

gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries,

immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.

Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not

be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

Only use the speciﬁed type of battery / rechargeable battery!

Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity

marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the

product.

Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in

the battery compartment before inserting!

Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the

product immediately.

Startup procedure

Inserting / replacing batteries

Slide the battery cover 6 in the direction of the arrow and

remove it (see Fig. A).

Insert the batteries 5 into the battery compartment, paying

attention to polarity (+ and -).

Put the battery cover 6 back and slide it in the opposite

direction to the arrow (see Fig. B).

Hint: Make sure that the battery cover 6 is securely locked in

place.

Secure / switch on / oﬀ the light

Note: Ensure that the adhesive surfaces are free from grease and

dust.

Use the magnetic adhesive foil 3 if you want to attach the light

to a magnetic surface.

Remove the protective ﬁlm from the magnetic adhesive foil 3

and attach to the back of the light (see Fig. C).

Stick 2 self-adhesive pads 4 to the back of the light and attach

to a level and dry surface (see Fig. D).

Switch the light on by pressing the middle of the transparent

object 1.

Switch the light oﬀ by pressing the middle of the transparent

object 1 again.

Cleaning

Remove the batteries from the device prior to cleaning.

Do not use solvents, petrol, etc. Otherwise the light will be

damaged.

Only clean with a dry, lint-free cloth.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,

which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for

waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations

(a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7:

plastics / 20–22: paper and ﬁbreboard / 80–98: com-

posite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable,

dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The

Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more

details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the

product properly when it has reached the end of its use-

ful life and not in the household waste. Information on

collection points and their opening hours can be obtained

from your local authority.

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste! Take the

batteries and / or the device to a local recycling facility.

Warranty / Service

Warranty Declaration

You receive a 36 month warranty on this product, valid from the

date of purchase. The appliance has been carefully produced under

strict quality control. Within the warranty period we shall rectify

without charge all material and manufacturing defects. In the event

of a defect during the warranty period, please send the appliance

to the listed Service Centre address, referencing the following item

number: 14106204L / 14106206L.

Wear parts (such as bulbs) and damage caused by improper han-

dling, non-observance of the operating instructions or unauthorised

interference are excluded from the warranty. The performance of

services under the warranty does not extend or renew the warranty

period.
