Mounting instructions
Mounting instructions
1. Put the motorcycle on a stand so the rear
wheel is clear of the ground. Make sure it´s
steadily positioned and will not fall over.
2. Loosen and remove the standard shock
absorber(s). See the motorcycles Workshop
manual.
3. Fit the Öhlins shock absorber(s) in the same
position as the standard shock.
Note! Make sure that all bolts are tightened to
the correct torque and that nothing fouls the
shock absorber when the suspension is beeing
fully compressed and fully extended. See the
motorcycles Workshop manual for correct
torque
4. Continue your work according to the
Owners Manual, section Adjustments
If the shock absorber has an adjustable end
eye/bracket, this must not be treaded out more
than that one groove is fully visible beneath
the lock nut. Make sure that the lock nut is
tightened after adjustment
Monteringsinstruktion
1. Placera motorcykeln på ett stöd så att
bakhjulet hänger fritt. Se till att den står
stadigt och inte kan falla omkull.
2. Lossa och ta bort motorcykelns
standardstötdämpare. Se motorcykelns
servicemanual.
3. Passa in Öhlinsstötdämparen på samma sätt
som standardsstötdämparen.
Observera! Se till att stötdämparens rörelse
mellan fullt utdragen till fullt ihoptryckt inte
hindras av något. Dra fast stötdämoparen med
korrekt åtdragningsmoment. Se motorcykelns
servicemanual för åtdragningsmomentet.
4. Fortsätt med inställningar enligt Owners
Manual.
Om stötdämparen är justerbar i längd får den
inte skruvas ut längre än att spåret i gängan är
synligt direkt under justermuttern. Tillse att
låsmuttern dras åt ordentligt efter justering.
