Safety
• Be very careful when emptying themachine. Holdthemachine over thesink or
other appropriate area so that no excess oil drips on unwanted areas or where it
can cause burn damage. Liftthelidded dome/bowl away from you when removing
it from themachine. Becareful, thepopping pan becomes veryhot.
• Themachine may be used by children aged 8 or over provided they have
been instructed in thesafe use of themachine and that they fully understand
thehazards or risks involved. Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by
children aged 8 or over, but only under adult supervision.
• Themachine may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been given proper supervision or instruction regarding thesafe
use of theproduct and understand any hazards involved. Neverlet children play
with theproduct.
• Keep themachine and its mains lead out of reach of children under theage of 8.
• Themachine must only be connected to a220–240V, 50Hz earthed outlet.
• Make sure that theplug is designed for and fits thewall socket. Nevertry to modify
theplug or use any kind of plug adaptor.
• Thepopcorn maker must not be plugged into awall socket controlled by any kind
of time switch or remote control.
• Place themachine on afirm, level surface where there is no risk of it tippingover.
• Always turn off themachine before pulling out theplug.
• Never place themachine on hobs or in ovens or freezers.
• Always unplug themachine from thepower point when it is not inuse.
• Themachine is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Never immerse themachine, its mains lead or plug in water or other liquid.
• Children should be kept under continuous supervision if they are in close proximity
to themachine while it is inuse.
• Never use themachine if it or themains lead has been damaged in anyway.
• Never attempt to dismantle or modify themachine in anyway.
• Never use accessories which are not approved by themanufacturer or retailer.
• Themachine is intended for indoor useonly.
• Do not let themains lead hang over theedge of thetable or counter. Donot let
themains lead come into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces.
• Repairs should only be carried out by qualified tradesmen.
