Introduktion
FLEX bizz är ett trådlöst Bluetooth®-headset i komfortmodell för mobiltelefoner,
anpassat och utvecklat för det trådlösa kontoret. När mobiltelefonen ersätter den
vanliga telefonin ställs nya krav på en komfortabel och ergonomiskt riktig lös-
ning för de som talar mycket i telefon. FLEX bizz är en sådan lösning, ett riktigt
bekvämt trådlöst headset med bra ljudkvalitet. Som tillbehör finns bland annat en
USB-ansluten Bluetooth-mottagare för datorn, som möjliggör kommunikation via
VoIP-program, till exempel Skype™.

Justera huvudbygeln till exakt och bekväm
passform genom att föra den uppåt eller
nedåt i fästet.
Det följer med två olika typer av öronkudde
till headsetet. Modellen i foam släpper
igenom lite mer bakgrundsljud än modellen
i läderimitation.
Då headsetet inte använts under en längre tid kan
första laddningen ta upp till fem timmar. Normal
laddtid är ca 3-4 timmar. Lågt batteri indikeras av
en tonsignal var 10’e sekund, samt att statusin-
dikatorn på headsetet blinkar rött. Headsetet kan
bara placeras på ett håll i laddaren.

Slå på/stäng av headsetet
Innan ett Bluetooth-headset kan användas måste det paras ihop med och anslutas
till en telefon. Detaljerade anvisningar finns i manualen till mobiltelefonen.
Generell procedur
• Aktivera Bluetooth på mobiltelefonen
• Sätt FLEX bizz i parningsläge (från avstängt headset, tryck på svarsknappen ca
4-5 sekunder tills indikatorn blinkar omväxlande rött och grönt)
• Gör en sökning efter bluetooth-enheter på mobiltelefonen

Olika telefontillverkare har olika sätt att hantera Bluetooth-enheter. Läs igenom manualen
till mobiltelefonen för mer information. På vissa telefoner kan headsetet tillåtas att ansluta
automatiskt, till exempel då man kommer in på kontoret. På andra telefoner måste man
ansluta manuellt om förbindelsen mellan headsetet och telefonen brutits.
Headsetet kan paras ihop med flera telefoner, men kan bara vara anslutet till en telefon i
taget.

Slå på headsetet
Tryck och håll inne svarsknappen ca 3-5 sekunder. Då indikatorn blinkar grönt
och en tonsignal hörs i headsetet kan knappen släppas.
Stäng av headsetet
Tryck och håll inne svarsknappen ca 4-5 sekunder tills indikatorn blinkar rött.
Släpp knappen.

Användning
Besvara samtal
• Tryck kort på svarsknappen.
Avvisa samtal
• Tryck och håll inne svarsknappen ca 2 sekunder. Två korta tonsignaler hörs.
Man kan även avvisa samtal via mobiltelefonens meny.
Ringa samtal
• Slå numret på mobilen som vanligt.
Avsluta samtal
• Tryck kort på svarknappen, eller avsluta på mobiltelefonen.
Justera volymen
• Tryck volym upp/volym ned för att justera in en lagom
lyssningsvolym. Det finns en liten upphöjning på
båda volymknapparna som underlättar hanteringen.
Volymen kan även justeras direkt på mobiltelefonen.
Observera att hög lyssningsvolym kan medföra eko eller
andra störningar i hörkapseln, för en eller båda parter.
Justera ned volymen något om detta inträffar.

Användning
Sekretessläge
• Tryck på sekretessknappen. Tryck igen för att återgå till samtalet.
En tonsignal hörs med jämna mellanrum då sekretessläget är aktiverat och mikrofonen i
hedsetet är bortkopplad.
Överföra samtalsljudet till eller från mobiltelefonen
• Under samtal, tryck och håll inne Svarsknappen ca 2 sekunder. Två korta ton-
signaler hörs. Överföring kan i regel också utföras från telefonen.
Återuppringning
• Från vänteläge, tryck kort på svarsknappen. Senast slaget nummer rings upp.
Röstuppringning
• Tryck och håll inne svarsknappen ca två sekunder för att aktivera röstuppringning.
En kort tonsignal hörs i headsetet.
Röstuppringning måste i regel först aktiveras i telefonen. Läs mer om röststyrd uppring-

Effektiv och säker användning
Headsetet ska inte utsättas för fukt, väta eller extrema temperaturförhållanden.
Sådana förhållanden eller annan omild behandling, som att tappa produkten, kan
skada den. Använd endast originaltillbehör och originalladdare till enheten. Var-
ken laddare eller headset kan öppnas eller repareras av användaren.
En Bluetooth-enhet använder radiosignaler för att kommunicera med andra enhe-
ter. Styrkan på radiosignalen är låg, maximalt ca 0,001 Watt. Använd inte enheten
i olämpliga miljöer eller där det är förbjudet, som på sjukhus, flygplan eller där
explosionsrisk förekommer. Radiosignaler kan i vissa fall påverka annan elektrisk
utrustning som inte är avstörd.
Undvik hörselskador genom att alltid justera lyssningsvolymen till en säker
nivå. Det finns en risk att man vänjer sig vid en för hög volym, särskilt i en bullrig
miljö, vilket kan leda till hörselskador trots att ljudnivån upplevs som normal. Be-
gränsa tiden som du använder headset med hög volyminställning, och undvik att
höja volymen för att inte störas av ljud i omgivningen. FLEX bizz har ett inbyggt
skydd mot plötsliga höga ljudstötar, så kallad akustisk chock.
Batteriinformation
Enheten drivs med ett uppladdningsbart batteri av typen Lithium-Polymer. Ett nytt
batteri fungerar bäst när det har laddats upp och ur helt ett par gånger. Ett fullad-
dat batteri som inte används laddas så småningom ur.
Batteriets kapacitet och livslängd kan förkortas om enheten förvaras i värme eller
kyla, till exempel i en stängd bil under sommar eller vinter. En enhet med nedkylt
eller överhettat batteri kan tillfälligt upphöra att fungera, även om batteriet är helt
laddat. Vid temperaturer under -0 °C är batterikapaciteten begränsad.
Kasta aldrig batterier i öppen eld eftersom de kan explodera. Lämna alltid batte-
rier och förbrukad elektronik till miljöåtervinning, eller enligt lokala bestämmelser.

Hjälp och tips
Felsökning
Om du inte kan ansluta till headsetet, kontrollera följande:
• Att headsetet är laddat och påslaget, och inte mer än 10 meter från telefonen.
• Att Bluetooth är aktiverat på telefonen.
• Att headsetet är inlagt i telefonens lista över enheter och anslutet.
• Prova att ta bort headsetet från telefonens lista över enheter, och para sedan
ihop enheterna på nytt.
Om headsetet slutar att fungera helt:
• Kontrollera att headsetet är laddat och anslutet till telefonen.
• Prova att återställa headsetet genom att stänga av det, vänta 15 sekunder och
sedan sätta på det igen. Även telefonen kan återställas enligt samma metod.
Om vissa funktioner inte går att använda med din telefon:
• Kontrollera först i telefonens användarhandbok om det är någon inställning som
måste göras eller någon funktion som måste aktiveras.
• Olika telefontillverkare kan ha olika implementering av Bluetooth-funktionerna.
FLEX bizz fungerar normalt med alla telefoner som stödjer Bluetooth-profilerna
Headset/Handsfree, men undantag kan förekomma vad gäller vissa funktioner.

Se gärna till att telefonen också har den senaste mjukvaran (firmware) instal-
lerad.
Skötsel och underhåll
Ett headset är en tekniskt avancerad enhet som innehåller kretskort och finmeka-
nik, tillverkat av högklassiga komponenter. Headsetet bör alltid behandlas var-
samt för längsta livslängd och högsta tillförlitlighet.
• Utsätt inte produkten för fukt eller omild behandling.
• Förvara produkten på en torr och dammfri plats.
• Vid rengöring, torka av headsetet med en torr trasa.
• Förvara inte headsetet fulladdat i laddstället under längre tidsperioder.
• Nya öronkuddar finns att köpa som reservdel.

Garantivillkor och service
ILD International AB garanterar att produkten är fri från material- och fabrikations-
fel vid leverans. Garantin täcker fel på produkten som beror på material- och/eller
fabrikationsfel enligt konsumentköplagen. En produkt som under garantitiden på
köparens bekostnad lämnas till inköpsstället tillsammans med daterat inköpskvitto
repareras eller byts ut efter ILD’s eget gottfinnande. Garantin gäller inte om felet
uppstår på grund av vanvård, ingrepp, onormalt slitage, fukt- eller tappskador,
åsknedslag eller annan olyckshändelse.
Vid eventuella garantiärenden returneras produkten tillsammans med daterat

Introduction
FLEX bizz is a wireless comfort Bluetooth® headset for mobile phones and of-
fices. When mobile phones replace the ordinary phones at the office, you need
a comfortable and ergonomic solution for those who spend long hours on the
phone. FLEX bizz such a solution, a truly comfortable headset with good sound
quality, built for comfortable all day wearing. As an accessory, there is an USB
Bluetooth dongle for the PC. With the dongle, you can connect your headset
to a computer and use it as an audio device for VoIP applications, for example
Skype™.

Headband adjustment
Adjust the headband to a comfortable fit by
sliding the headband up or down.
There are two different types of ear cush-
ions supplied with the product, leatherette
and foam.
If the headset has been out of use for some time,
it may take up to five hours to charge it fully. Nor-
mal charging time is 3-4 hours. Low battery is in-
dicated by a beep tone every ten seconds, and by
the flashing red LED on the headset. The LED’s
on the charging stand indicates charging status.

Turning the headset on and off
Prior to using the headset, it must be »paired« with another Bluetooth device, such
as a mobile phone. For specific instructions, check the users guide of your phone.
General procedure
• Activate Bluetooth on your phone
• Put FLEX bizz in pairing mode (check so that the headset is switched off, press
and hold the answer button for 4-5 seconds until the LED flashes red and green)
• Perform a search for bluetooth devices on your phone

Different phones have different ways to handle Bluetooh devices. Read the users manual
of your phone for more info. Some phones will connect to the headset automatically when
it is within range, for example when you return to your office. For other phones, it may be
necessary to reconnect manually when the connection has been broken.
The headset can be paired with more than one phone, but it can only be connected to one
phone at a given moment.

Turn on the headset
Press and hold the answer button for 2-3 seconds. Release the button when the
LED flashes green and a short beep is heard in the speaker.
Turn off the headset
Press and hold the answer button for 2-3 seconds. Release the button when the
LED flashes red 3 times.

Using the headset
Answer a call
• Press the answer button briefly.
Reject a call
• Press and hold the answer button for two seconds until you hear two short
beeps. It is also possible to reject calls directly from the phone.
Make a call
• Dial the number on the mobile phone.
End a call
• Press the answer button briefly, or end the call on the mobile phone.
Volume adjustment
• Press volume up/volume down to adjust the listen-
ing volume. There is a small notch on each volume
button that makes them easy to find. The headset
listening volume can also be adjusted on the phone.
Note that high listening volume settings may cause echo or
other noise on the line, for one or both parties on the line.
Try lowering the listening volume if this is the case.

Using the headset
Mute
• Press and release the mute button. Press again to resume the call.
A beep tone is heard every two seconds when mute mode is activated.
Transfer sound from/to the headset or mobile phone
• During a call, press and hold the answer button for two seconds. Two short
beeps will be heard in the speaker. Sound transfer can also be made from the
mobile phone.
Last number redial
• Press the answer button briefly. The last dialled number is called.
Voice dial
• Press and hold the answer button for 2-3 seconds to activate voice dial.
In general, voice dial must be activated on your phone before you can use it. For more
information on voice dialling and voice commands, refer to your phone’s user guide.

Technical information
Safe and efficient use
Do not expose your product to humidity, liquid or extreme temperature conditions.
Such conditions, or other rough treatment such as dropping or bending the prod-
uct may damage it. Do not use any accessories or chargers other than original
intended for use with this product. Neither headset nor charger contain any user
serviceable parts, and must not be opened.
A Bluetooth device use radio signals to communicate with other devices. The
power of this radio signal is low, maximum 0,001 Watts. Do not use the product
where it is forbidden, for example in air planes, at hospitals, in blasting areas or in
explosive atmospheres. Radio signals may interfere with other electronic devices,
especially if these are not shielded.
Permanent hearing loss may occur if headsets are used at high listening
volumes for longer periods of time. Set the volume to a safe level. You can
adapt to high listening volume over time, especially in a noisy environment where
the level of sound may seem normal even if the volume is high. Reduce the time
you use a headset with high listening volume. FLEX bizz has built-in acoustic
chock protection that eliminates high volume peaks.
Battery information
The device is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-polymer battery. A new bat-
tery will need a few charging cycles before it can reach maximum capacity. A fully
charged battery will loose its charge over time even if the headset is not used.
Battery capacity and life span may be reduced if the device is exposed to extreme
high or low temperatures, for example if it is left in a car. A device with a cold or
hot battery may stop working until it is back to normal (room) temperature. Battery
capacity at temperatures below -0 °C is reduced.
Never dispose of batteries in open fire since they may explode. Always dispose of
use batteries and electronic devices according to local recycling regulations.

Help and tips
Troubleshooting
If you have problems connecting the headset to your phone, do as follows:
• Check that the headset is charged, turned on and within 10 meters of the
phone.
• Check that Bluetooth is switched on on your phone.
• Check that the headset is listed as a headset device in your phone and also
connected. You may need to re-connect to the headset.
• Try removing the headset from the phone, then pair and connect again.
If the headset stops functioning, even though it is fully charged:
• Reset the headset by switching it off, wait for 15 seconds and then turn it on
again. You might try to reset the phone as well.
Some features are not possible to use with a certain phone:
• Check the users manual of your phone for missing settings or functions that
needs to be activated.
• Different mobile phone manufacturers may implement Bluetooh functions in
different ways. FLEX bizz should work with all phones that support the Head-
set and Handsfree Bluetooth profiles, but functionality may vary depending on
the telephone model you use. Up to date compatibility info and instructions are
found on our web page, www.ild.nu. You might also want to check for the latest
firmware for your phone.
Maintenance
Your headset is a technically advanced device containing circuit boards and fine
mechanics, made from top grade components. To increase reliability and life
span, always treat your headset with care.
• Do not expose the headset to moist, liquids, rain or dust.
• Store the product at a dry and dust-free location.
• For cleaning, use a dry cloth.
• Do not store a fully charged headset in the charging stand for longer periods of time
.
• Ear cushions are available as spare parts.

Warranty and service
ILD International AB warrants this product to be free from defects in materials
and workmanship at the date of purchase. The guarantee covers defects in
materials and workmanship during the warranty period, as stated in the consumer
purchasing law. This guarantee shall not apply to a fault caused by accident,
abnormal usage, product not reasonably maintained or faults caused by a
thunderstorm, rain or rough handling.
If the goods deteriorate during the guarantee period in such a way as is covered
by the guarantee, please return the product together with a dated sales receipt to
the retailer, and it will be repaired or replaced at ILD’s option.
Hereby, ILD declares that this equipment complies with the essential
requirements and other relevant provisions of the European Union directive
1999/5/EC.
