Important
Read these instructions for use carefully and
look at the illustrations before you start using
the appliance.
Always switch the vacuum cleaner off after
use.
Never suck up water (or any other liquid).
Never suck up ashes until they are cold.
Do not let water enter the vacuum cleaner or
the wall holder.Never immerse the vacuum
cleaner or the wall holder in water.
The charger plug feels warm.This is normal.
Only charge the vacuum cleaner with the
charger supplied.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.Take
it to an authorised Philips service centre for
repair.
Preparing the appliance for use

Wind and store excess mains cord in the wall
holder.

Screw the wall holder to the wall with the
screws supplied with the appliance.
You can also place the vacuum cleaner and
the wall holder flat on a table during charging.

The crevice tool can be attached to the wall
holder by pushing it into the appropriate
fastening slot.
Charging the appliance
1 Make sure that the slide switch of the
vacuum cleaner is in off position (0) during
charging.The appliance will not charge if
the slide switch is in another position.
2 Insert the charger plug into the wall
socket.

3 Put the vacuum cleaner on the holder.

The indicator light will come on to indicate
that the appliance is charging.
The indicator light will stay on as long as the
appliance is connected to the wall holder and the
plug is in the wall socket.
The indicator light does not give any information
about the charge level of the built-in batteries.
Charge the appliance for at least 16 hours before
you use it for the first time.
Recharge the appliance as soon as the motor
power decreases noticeably.
4 Leave the charger plug in the wall socket.
Always place the vacuum cleaner back

batteries are fully charged).
Vacuum cleaning

1 Set the slide switch to position I for
normal suction power.Set it to position II
for turbo suction power.
Connecting accessories

1 Use the crevice tool to vacuum clean
hard-to-reach places.
Emptying the dust compartment
C
1 Press the break button and open the
vacuum cleaner over a dustbin.

2 Remove the filter from the dust
compartment.
3 Clean the filter and empty the dust
compartment.

Clean the filter with a brush or with a normal
vacuum cleaner if it is very dirty.
Replacing the filter

1 Remove the filter frame from the dust
compartment.

2 Gently turn the filter clockwise to detach
it from the frame.

3 Remove the old filter and replace it with a
new filter.

4 Push the tip of the filter inwards.
Cleaning the appliance
You can clean the appliance with a damp
cloth.Remove the mains plug from the wall
socket before cleaning the wall holder.

Do not let water enter the vacuum cleaner or the
wall holder.Never immerse the vacuum cleaner
or the wall holder in water.
If necessary,clean the dust compartment and
the filter with cold or lukewarm water.
The dust compartment may NOT be cleaned in a
dishwasher.
Never use the vacuum cleaner when the filter
and/or the dust compartment is/are still wet.
Ordering filters
Replace the filter if it can no longer be cleaned
properly (usually after having been cleaned 50
times).
New (replacement) filters are available under
type no.FC8035.Contact your Philips dealer.
If you have any difficulties obtaining filters or other
accessories for this appliance,please contact the
Philips Customer Care Centre in your country or
consult the worldwide guarantee leaflet.
Environment
NiCd/NiMH batteries can be harmful to the
environment and may explode if exposed to high
temperatures or fire.

Remove the batteries when you discard the
appliance.Do not throw the batteries away with
the normal household waste,but hand them in at
an official collection point.You can also take the
batteries to a Philips service centre,which will
dispose of them in an environmentally safe way.
Only remove the batteries if they are completely
empty.

1 Let the appliance run until it stops,undo
the screws and open the vacuum cleaner.

2 Cut the connecting wires one by one and
remove the batteries.
If you are not going to use the appliance for a
longer period of time,we advise you to
remove the charger plug from the wall socket
to save energy.

Wickeln Sie überschüssiges Netzkabel in der
Wandhalterung auf.

Bringen Sie die Wandhalterung mit den
beiliegenden Schrauben an der Wand an.
Sie können den Staubsauger zum Aufladen mit
der Wandhalterung auch flach auf den Tisch
legen.

Sie können die Fugendüse in der
Wandhalterung anbringen,indem Sie diese
Teile in die dafür vorgesehenen Aussparungen
drücken.
Die Akkus aufladen
1 Achten Sie darauf,dass der Ein-
/Ausschalter während des Aufladens auf
Position 0 steht.Steht der Schalter auf
einer anderen Position,werden die Akkus
nicht aufgeladen.
2 Stecken Sie das Steckernetzgerät in die
Steckdose.

3 Setzen Sie den Staubsauger in die
Halterung ein.

Die Kontroll-Lampe leuchtet auf und zeigt an,
dass die Akkus aufgeladen werden.
Die Kontroll-Lampe leuchtet,solange das Gerät in
der Wandhalterung angebracht ist und das
Steckernetzgerät in der Steckdose steckt.
Die Kontroll-Lampe gibt keine Information über
den Ladezustand der Akkus.

Laden Sie die Akkus vor dem ersten Gebrauch
mindestens 16 Stunden auf.
Laden Sie die Akkus spätestens dann auf,wenn
die Motorleistung spürbar nachlässt.
4 Lassen Sie das Steckernetzgerät in der
Steckdose,und hängen Sie den
Staubsauger nach Gebrauch stets wieder
in die Wandhalterung - auch wenn die
Akkus fast noch voll geladen sind.
Staubsaugen

1 Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter für
normale Saugleistung auf Position I und für
Turbo-Saugleistung auf Position II .
Vor dem Gebrauch

1 Verwenden Sie die Fugendüse,um schwer
erreichbare Stellen staubzusaugen.

Leeren der Staubkammer

1 Drücken Sie die Verriegelung,und öffnen
Sie den Staubsauger über einem Mülleimer.

2 Nehmen Sie den Filter aus der
Staubkammer.
3 Reinigen Sie den Filter und leeren Sie die
Staubkammer.
Reinigen Sie den Staubbeutel,wenn er stark
verschmutzt ist,mit einer Bürste oder mit
einem üblichen Staubsauger.
Wechsel des Staubbeutels

1 Nehmen Sie den Filterhalter aus der
Staubkammer heraus.

2 Nehmen Sie den Filter mit einer leichten
Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn vom
Filterhalter.

ersetzen Sie ihn durch einen neuen.

4 Drücken Sie die Filterspitze einwärts.
Das Gerät reinigen
Sie können das Gerät mit einem
angefeuchteten Tuch reinigen,auf das Sie bei
Bedarf ein wenig Spülmittel aufgetragen
haben.- Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung der
Wandhalterung das Steckernetzgerät aus der
Steckdose.
Achten Sie darauf,dass kein Wasser in das Gerät
eindringt.Tauchen Sie das Gerät oder die
Wandhalterung niemals in Wasser.
Reinigen Sie bei Bedarf den Filter und die
Staubkammer mit kaltem oder lauwarmem
Wasser.
Dier Staubkammer ist NICHT für den
Geschirrpüler geeignet.
Verwenden Sie den Staubsauger niemals,solange
der Filter oder die Staubkammer noch nass ist.

Staubbeutel nachbestellen
Wechseln Sie den Staubbeutel,wenn das Gerät
nicht mehr ausreichend saugt.Das ist
normalerweise nach ca.50 Anwendungen der Fall.
Ersatzfilter sind unter der Type FC8035 bei Ihrem
Philips Händler erhältlich.
Sollten passende Staubbeutel oder andere
Zusatzteile beim örtlichen Handel nicht verfügbar
sein,so wenden Sie sich bitte an das Philips
Service Center in Ihrem Lande.Beachten Sie
hierzu bitte die beiliegende Garantieschrift.
Umweltschutz
Akkus enthalten Substanzen,welche die Umwelt
gefährden können.
Sie sind als Verbraucher gesetzlich dazu
verpflichtet,leere Batterien und Akkus der
Wiederverwertung zuzuführen.Sie können das
Gerät auch dem Philips Service Center zustellen.
Wir kümmern uns dann um eine
ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung.- Wenn Sie die
Akkus selbst entnehmen wollen,so gehen Sie
bitte wie folgt vor:
Entnehmen Sie die Akkus nur in völlig entladenem
Zustand.

1 Lassen Sie den Motor laufen,bis er still
steht.Entfernen Sie die Schrauben,und
öffnen Sie den Staubsauger.

Préparation à l'emploi

Enroulez et rangez l'excédent de cordon dans
le support mural.

Vissez le support mural dans le mur à l'aide
des vis fournies avec l'appareil.
Vous pouvez placer également l'aspirateur et
le support mural à plat sur une table pendant
la charge.

compartiment de rangement.
Charge de l'appareil
1 Assurez-vous que le bouton de l'aspirateur
est en position 0 (arrêt) pendant la charge.
L'appareil ne se chargera pas si le bouton

2 Branchez le chargeur dans la prise murale.

3 Mettez l'aspirateur sur son support.

Le témoin lumineux s'allume pour indiquer
que l'appareil est en charge.
Le témoin lumineux reste allumé aussi longtemps
que l'appareil est sur son support mural et la
fiche branchée dans la prise de courant .
Le témoin ne vous indique pas le niveau de
charge des accumulateurs.
Chargez l'appareil pendant au moins 16 heures
avant la première utilisation.
Rechargez l'appareil aussitôt que la puissance du
moteur diminue de façon sensible.
4 Laissez le chargeur branché dans la prise
