Einleitung

Kurz-Einleitung in die kabellose Bluetooth - Technologie

Bluetooth ist eine kabellose Kommunikationstechnologie mit kurzer Reichweite. Sie ermöglicht

die kabellose Übertragung zwischen Geräten mit Bluetooth - Schnittstelle, wie beispielsweise

Mobiltelefonen, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), Desktop- und Notebooks, Eingabe-Ausgabe-

Geräten (Mäuse, Tastaturen, Drucker) und Haushaltgeräten. Bluetooth richtet sich nach der weltweit

gültigen Norm für den Funkbetrieb innerhalb des international anerkannten ISM-Band (industrielles,

wissenschaftliches und medizinisches Frequenzband). Innerhalb des ISM-Bandes (2,4 GHz bis

2,48 GHz) kann Bluetooth 1,600 Mal pro Sekunde zwischen 79 separaten Frequenzen mit einer

Funkweite von bis zu ungefähr 10 Metern ( Klasse II ) springen.

B-Speech®Caran Bluetooth-Handsfree-Anlage

B-Speech®Caran ist ein Bluetooth - Gerät, das mit der neuesten Bluetooth –Technologie Version

1.2 ausgestattet wurde. Es ist ein Multifunktionsgerät für den Einsatz im Auto, im Büro und in der

Freizeit.

Installation

• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und setzen Sie die 3 wieder aufladbaren AAA Batterien ein.

• Das Batteriefach wieder schließen.

• Verbinden Sie nun das Ladekabel/Netzteil mittels des Adapters mit dem CARAN.

• Die rote LED (links) fängt an zu leuchten und das CARAN wird geladen.

AKKU HINWEIS! Beim ersten Einsatz die Akkus vollständig ca. 4-6 Stunden laden !

• Drücken Sie die AN/AUS-Taste um das CARAN zu starten.

• Die grüne “LED” leuchtet auf, und das CARAN ist arbeitsbereit.

• Pairen Sie nun das CARAN mit Ihrem Handy, PC, etc.. Siehe Pairing

• Befestigen Sie den Sonnenblendenclip an der Rückseite des CARAN.

• Der CARAN kann nun seitlich oder mittels der zweiten beigefügten Batterieabdeckung auf die

Sonnenblende geschoben werden.

• Justieren Sie den Mikrofonbügel so, dass er bei normaler Sitzposition auf Ihren Mund zeigt.

HINWEIS! Bei zugeklapptem Mikrofonbügel kann es zu einer Echobildung auf Seiten Ihres

Gesprächspartners kommen.

Einschalten/Ausschalten des Gerätes

Durch 3sek. langes Drücken auf die AN/AUS-Taste wird das Gerät ein- oder ausgeschaltet. Im

eingeschalteten Zustand blinkt die grüne LED rechts alle 2 Sek auf. Das Gerät ist jetzt im Standby-

Modus.

Pairing

Das CARAN und Ihr Handy müssen gepairt werden, bevor Sie es benutzen können. Das CARAN

wählt automatisch die Profile „Handsfree“ oder „Headset“ aus und pairt es mit Ihrem Handy.

Der Pairing-Vorgang im Detail:

Achtung:

Bringen Sie Ihr Mobiltelefon und das B-Speech®Caran in eine Entfernung von ca. 10 -50 cm.

1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.

2. Halten Sie die AN/AUS-Taste ca. 8 Sek. gedrückt, bis sowohl der Einschaltton, als auch der

Pairington zu hören ist. Die rote und die grüne LED blinken nun abwechselnd.

3. Aktivieren Sie in Ihrem Handy die Bluetooth-Funktion und folgen Sie den Angaben zum Pairing

(Details finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Handys). Das CARAN wird vom Handy

gefunden. Jetzt wählen Sie das CARAN aus. Das Handy fragt Sie nach dem Pairing-Code.

Geben Sie „1234“ ein. Dieser Code ist werksseitig vorgegeben und kann nicht verändert werden.

4. Das CARAN ist jetzt mit Ihrem Handy gepairt und einsatzbereit.

Wichtig: Sollte der Pairingsversuch scheitern, dann starten Sie den Vorgang noch einmal von

vorn. Wenn die Verbindung erfolgreich war, dann ist das B-Speech®Caran einsatzbereit. Sie

können jetzt drahtlos telefonieren, wenn Sie am Handy die entsprechenden Einstellungen

vorgenommen haben.

Anmerkung:

1. Wenn Sie das Pairing abbrechen wollen, dann drücken Sie die PAIRINGTASTE noch einmal.

Das CARAN wechselt wieder in den Standby-Modus.

2. Stellen Sie die das CARAN auf angenehme Lautstärke ein.

3. Justieren Sie den Mikrofonbügel zwischen 90° und 120° um die optimale Gesprächsqualität zu

erreichen.

Gesprächsannahme- / ablehnung

Drücken sie den grünen Gesprächannahme-Knopf um ein Gespräch anzunehmen.

Drücken Sie den roten Gesprächablehnungs-Knopf um ein Gespräch abzulehnen.

Sprachwahl-Funktion

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Mobiltelefon die Sprachwahl-Funktion unterstützt. Aktivieren Sie zuerst

die Sprachwahl an Ihrem Telefon und zeichnen Sie die Sprachbefehle auf. Drücken sie den grünen

Gesprächannahme-Knopf im Standby - Modus. Wenn Sie einen Piepton hören sagen Sie den

gespeicherten Namen und die dazu gespeicherte Nummer wird automatisch gewählt.

Wahlwiederholung der zuletzt gewählten Nummer

Drücken Sie den roten Gesprächablehnungs-Knopf im Standby - Modus. Die zuletzt gewählte

Nummer wird automatisch angerufen.

Zweiter Multifunktions-Knopf

a) Ankommender Ruf

Durch einmaliges Drücken der Multifunktions -Taste im Mikrofonbügel wird das Gespräch

angenommen.

b) Gespräch beenden

Wenn man das Gespräch beenden möchte, drückt man die Multifunktions -Taste für ca. 2 – 3

Sek.

c) Gespräch zum Handy weiterleiten

Wenn man das Gespräch zum Handy weiterleiten möchte, drückt man die Multifunktions-Taste

für ca. 1 Sek.

d) Sprachwahl

Durch Drücken der Multifunktions-Taste im Standby-Modus wird die Sprachwahl aktiviert.

Anmerkung: Einige Handys besitzen grundsätzlich keine Sprachanwahl.

Automatischer Verbindungsaufbau bei Wiedereintritt in den 10 Meter-Bereich

Wenn Sie das Fahrzeug mit eingeschaltetem Handy verlassen und den Arbeitsbereich von 10

Metern überschreiten, dann wird die Verbindung zum B-Speech®Caran (im Standby-Betrieb)

getrennt. Wenn Sie den Bereich von 10 Metern wieder erreichen, dann wird die Bluetooth-

Verbindung automatisch wieder hergestellt. Bei manchen Handys ist es notwendig, zur

Wiederverbindung kurz die grüne Gesprächsannahmetaste des CARAN zu drücken.

Verbindungsaufbau mit wieder eingeschaltetem Handy und/oder B-Speech®Caran

Wenn Sie Ihr B-Speech®Caran und/oder Ihr Handy ausschalten und wieder einschalten und

das B-Speech®Caran in den Standby-Modus gelangt, dann wird durch Drücken der grünen

Gesprächsannahme-Taste Ihres B-Speech®Caran die Bluetooth-Verbindung automatisch wieder

hergestellt.

Batteriezustands-Indikator

Befindet sich die Batterie im schwachen Zustand, dann werden Sie alle 40 sek. mit einem Flash

und einem BiBiBiBi –Ton darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Gleichzeitig beginnt die rote LED zu

leuchten. Bitte laden Sie dann sofort Ihre Batterien auf.

Batterie aufladen

Das CARAN arbeitet u.a. mit 3 wieder aufladbaren AAA -Akkus. Die Akkus sind nicht voll geladen

wenn Sie das CARAN auspacken. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch so

lange zu laden, bis die Batterie-Statusanzeige erlischt.

Die Batterie-Statusanzeige leuchtet während des Ladevorgangs. Wenn die Batterien voll geladen

sind, dann erlischt die Batterie-Statusanzeige.

Lautstärke-Regelung

Drücken Sie den Knopf für Lautsprecher + oder Lautsprecher – um die Lautstärke zu regulieren.

Achtung: Es kann zu Rückkopplungen, Echobildung oder Hintergrundgeräuschen während des

Gesprächs am Telefon kommen, wenn die Lautstärke zu hoch eingestellt ist.

Privatgespräche

Um in den Privatgesprächs-Modus zu gelangen, drücken Sie die Taste mit dem Lautsprecher-

Symbol. Das Gespräch wird jetzt an den Stereo-Kopfhörer weitergeleitet. (Bitte beachten Sie, dass

Sie während der Fahrt nur einen Mono-Kopfhörer einsetzen dürfen.)

Stereo-Modus

Das CARAN kann auch als Stereo-Receiver für A2DP-Signale verwendet werden. Der eingebaute

Lautsprecher gibt hierbei nur ein Monosignal wieder In Verbindung mit dem im Lieferumfang

enthaltenen Stereo-Headset können Sie das Signal auch in Stereo genießen.

(nur mit entsprechender Software möglich, z.B. IVT Version 1.6.4. plus)

Einsatzbeispiel:

Pairen Sie das CARAN mit Ihrem Bluetooth-fähigen Musikausgabe-Gerät (z.B. PC, MP3-Player).

Sie können die Musik drahtlos über das CARAN empfangen. Wenn Ihr Handy klingelt, schaltet

das CARAN automatisch auf das Gespräch um. Ist das Gespräch beendet, schaltet das CARAN

auf Musikausgabe zurück.

Achtung:

1. Bitte öffnen Sie das CARAN niemals selbst, sondern setzen Sie sich mit Ihrem lokalen Service-

Partner in Verbindung.

2. Der Betriebstemperatur-Bereich liegt zwischen -10°C und +40°C die Überschreitung führt zu

Beschädigung des Gerätes.

3. Das B-Speech® Caran nur mit dem mitgelieferten Kfz-Ladekabel laden.

Zur Inanspruchnahme der Garantieleistungen ist die Vorlage einer Kopie der Kaufquittung oder

Introduction

Short introduction in the wireless technology Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology with short range. It enables a wireless

communication between devices with Bluetooth interfaces, such as mobile phones, Personal

Digital Assistants (PDA), Desktops and Notebooks, input / output devices ( mouse, keyboard,

printer) and domestic appliances. Bluetooth complies with the world wide standards for radio

operating in the ISM-Band (industrial, scientific and medical frequency band). Within the ISM-Band

( 2,4 GHz to 2.48 GHz) Bluetooth can jump 1,600 time per second between 79 different frequencies

with a range up to 10 meters (Class II).

B-Speech®Caran Bluetooth-Handsfree system

B-Speech®Caran is a Bluetooth - device, the newest of which has been equipped with Bluetooth

technology Version 1.2. It is a multi-function device to be used in car, office and in leisure.

Installation

• Open the battery department and insert the 3 rechargeable batteries.

• Close the battery department.

• Now connect the cable charger / power unit with the CARAN using the adapter. The red LED

(left) lights up and the CARAN is charging.

BATTERY NOTE! Before first use, fully charge the batteries for 4 to 6 hours.

• Press the On/Off button to start CARAN.

• The green LED lights up and the CARAN is ready.

• Start the pairing process (as describe further down) between the CARAN and your mobile phone.

• Fasten the sun screen clip at the back of the CARAN.

• The CARAN can now be clipped over the side of the sun shade.

• Adjust the microphone swivel handle for an optimum transmission to an angle of about 120°.

NOTE! If the microphone handle is closed, it can happen that there may be some echo

feedbacks at the side of your talking partner.

Turning the device On/Off

The device is turned on or off by pressing on the On/Off button for 3 secs.. When ON, the green

LED (right) flashes every 2 sec. Now the device is on stand by mode.

Pairing

The CARAN and your mobile phone must be paired before being used together. The CARAN

automatically chooses the “Handsfree” or “Headset” profile and pairs it with the mobile phone.

Details of the pairing process:

Note: Place your mobile phone and the B-Speech®Caran at a max. distance of 20cm apart.

1. Turn the CARAN off..

2. Keep the ON/OFF key down for about 8 sec. until both the ON sound and the Pairing sound

can be hear. The red and the green LED now flash alternatively.

3. Activate the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone and follow the method for pairing of your

mobile phone in its user manual. The CARAN will be found by your mobile phone. Choose the

CARAN from the list displayed by your mobile phone. Your phone will ask for the pairing code.

Enter “1234”. This code is fixed at manufacture and can not be changed.

4. The CARAN is now paired with your mobile phone. Both devices are ready for use.

Important: If the pairing process fails, repeat the process. Once the connection is successful, the

CARAN is ready. You can then phone wirelessly, if the mobile phone is properly set up.

Note:

1. If you want to stop the pairing process, presson the Pairing button again. The CARAN in standby

mode.

2. Adjust the CARAN for a comfortable level of volume.

3. Adjust the microphone swivel handle for an optimum transmission to an angle of 120’.

Taking / Refusing a call

Press on the green “call taking” button to accept a call.

Press on the red “call refusing” button to refuse a call.

Vocal dialing function

Make sure that your mobile phone accepts vocal dialing. Activate the vocal dialing function of your

mobile phone first and record the vocal commands. Press the green “call taking” in standby mode.

Once you hear a beep, speak the stored name and the corresponding stored number will be dialed.

Re-dial of the last dialed phone number

Press on the red “call refusing” button in standy mode. The last dialed number will automatically

be re-dialed.

Second multi-function button

a) Incoming call

Conversation starts by pressing the multi-function button in the microphone handle once.

b) Ending a call

Press again on the multi-function button in the microphone handle for 2 – 3 sec. to end the

conversation.

c) Forwarding a call to the mobile phone

If you wish to forward a call to your mobile, press the multi function key for about 1 sec.

d) Vocal dialing

Press on the multi function button in standby mode to activate the vocal dialing.

Note: Some mobile phones do not have vocal dialing.

Indicator of the state of the batteries

If the charge of the batteries is low, you will be warned every 40 seconds by a flash of the indicator

and a BiBiBiBi sound. The red LED lights up as well. Please charge your batteries immediately.

Batteries charging

The CARAN uses, among others, 3 re-chargeable AAA batteries. The batteries are not fully charged

when you unpack the CARAN. We advise you to fully charge the batteries before first use, i.e.

until the indicator for the state of the batteries goes off.

The indicator of the state of the batteries lights up while charging takes place. Once the batteries

are fully charged, it goes off.

Volume control

Press on Speaker + or Speaker – to adjust the volume.

Warning: Feedback or echo can take place while conversing if the volume is set up to high.

Private mode

Press the button with the speaker symbol to go to private mode. The conversation will then be

directed to the stereo-headset. (Please, be aware that while driving, you are only allowed to use

one ear-phone).

Stereo mode

The B-Speech®Caran can be used with the delivered stereo-headset as stereo-receiver and as

handsfree device (only possible with compatible software, e.g. IVT Version 1.6.4 plus).

Examples of utilisation:

Pair the CARAN with your Bluetooth capable music player (eg: PC, MP3 player). Then pair the

CARAN with your mobile phone.

You can receive the music wirelessly from the CARAN. When your mobile phone receives a call,

the CARAN switches automatically from the music to the conversation and back to the music when

the conversation is ended.

Warning:

1. Please, never open the CARAN yourself, get in touch with your local service partner.

2. The temperature range for use is between –10°C and +40°C. Use at other temperatures damages

the device.

3. Only charge the B-Speech®Caran with the car charging cable delivered with the CARAN.

Battery warning!

• Charge the batteries before use

• Never charge Alcaline Batteries

• Danger of explosion if exposed to open fires

• If your eyes get in contact with battery liquid, wash out the eyes with clear water immediately

and contact your doctor.

• Do not open batteries

• Do not put batteries in contact with liquid

• Do not short-circuit batteries, or put them in contact with metal.

• Do not mix different types of batteries, or new with old

• Temperature range of use – 0°C up to max. 50°C

• Keep batteries away from children

• Do not put batteries in your mouth

• Do not dispose of the batteries in the domestic rubbish.

Please note:

„You are as driver responsible for having your vehicle under control at all time.

You should while driving, never converse through your mobile phone, write or read SMS or look

at MMS. Surveys have revealed that drivers are a higher security risk when telephoning while

driving.

Courte introduction de la technologie sans fil Bluetooth.

Bluetooth est une technologie de communication sans fil pour courte portée. Cette technologie

permet une communication sans fil entre des appareils disposant d’interfaces Bluetooth, telles

que téléphones portables, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), ordinateurs et ordinateurs portatifs,

périphériques (souris, clavier, imprimante) et appareils ménagers. Bluetooth est conforme aux

Installation

• Ouvrez le compartiment à pile et insérer les 3 piles rechargeables.

• Fermez le compartiment à pile.

ATTENTION! Avant une première utilisation, chargez les piles au maximum, ce qui dure

entre 4 et 6 heures.

• Appuyez sur le bouton On/Off pour allumer le CARAN.

• Le LED vert s’allume, le CARAN est prêt à être utilisé.

• Commencez la procédure d’appareillage (décrite plus bas) entre le CARAN et votre téléphone

portable.

• Accrochez le clip d’attache au dos du CARAN.

Le CARAN peut maintenant être glissé sur le côté du pare-soleil.

• Ajustez le bras du microphone pour une transmission optimal à un angle d’environ 120’.

Allumer/Éteindre l’appareil

Allumez/éteignez l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton On/Off. Le LED vert s’allume et l’appareil

est mis en stand-by.

Appareillage

Le CARAN et votre téléphone portable doivent être appareillés avant de pouvoir être employé

ensemble. Le CARAN choisit automatiquement le profil "main-libre" ou "écouteur" et effectue

l’appareillage à votre téléphone portable.

Détails du processus d'appareillement:

Note: Placez votre téléphone portable et le B-Speech®Caran à une distance maximale de 20cm

l’un de l’autre.

1. Allumez le CARAN.

2. Appuyez sur le bouton On/Off/Appareillage pendant 4 secondes. L’affichage d’appareillage

clignote alternativement en vert et rouge. Le CARAN peut maintenant être appareiller avec

votre téléphone portable.

3. Activez la fonction Bluetooth de votre téléphone portable et suivez les instructions d’appareillage

de son guide d’utilisation. Le CARAN va être trouvé par votre téléphone portable. Choississez

l e CARAN dans la liste présentée par votre téléphone portable. Votre téléphone va demander

a saisie d’un code d’appareillage. Donnez le code “1234”. Ce code est mémorisé en usine et

ne peut être changer.

4. Le CARAN est maintenant appareillé à votre téléphone portable. Les deux appareils sont

maintenant prêt à l’emploi.

Important: Si le processus d'appareillage échoue, répétez le processus. Une fois que l’appareillage

est réussi, le CARAN est prêt à l’emploi. Vous pouvez alors téléphoner sans fil, si le téléphone

portable est configuré correctement

NOTE:

1. Si vous voulez arrêter le processus d'appareillement, pressez à nouveau sur le bouton

d'appareillage. Le CARAN est alors mis en stand-by.

2. Ajustez le volume du son du CARAN.

3. Ajustez le bras du microphone pour une transmission optimal à un angle d’environ 120’.

Converser/Refuser un appel

Appuyez sur le bouton vert « prise d’appel » pour accepter un appel.

Appuyez sur le bouton rouge “rejet” pour refuser un appel.

Vocal dialing function

Vérifiez que votre téléphone portable dispose de la fonction «composition vocale». Activez la

composition vocale de votre téléphone portable et enregistrez vos commandes vocales. Appuyez

sur le bouton vert « prise d’appel » de votre CARAN lorsque celui-ci est en stand-by. Après avoir

entendu un bip, prononcez le nom du correspondant que vous désirez appeler. Le numéro

mémorisé correspondant à ce nom sera alors composé.

Composition automatique du dernier numéro composé

Appuyez sur le bouton rouge « rejet » lorsque votre CARAN est en stand-by. Le dernier numéro

composé sera automatiquement recomposé.

Deuxième bouton multi-fonction

Arrivée d’un appel

La conversation est prise en appuyant une fois sur le bouton multifonction du bras pivotant du

microphone.

Terminer un appel

Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton multifonction du bras du microphone pour terminer un appel.

Envoyer une conversation au téléphone portable

Si vous désirez renvoyer la conversation sur votre téléphone portable, appuyez sur la touche

multi-fonction pendant 1 seconde.

Composition vocale

Appuyez sur le bouton multifonction lorsque CARAN est en stand-by pour activer la composition

vocale.

Note: Certains téléphones portables ne disposent pas de la fonction de composition vocale.

Indicateur du statut des piles.

Si la charge des piles est basse, l’indicateur vous avertira en clignotant toutes les 40 secondes

et un son BiBiBiBi se fera entendre. Le LED rouge s’allumera aussi. Chargez dans ce cas les

piles immédiatement.

Chargement des piles

Le CARAN utilise, entre autre, 3 piles rechargeables AAA. Ces piles ne sont pas totalement

chargés lors de la livraison. Nous vous conseillons de les charger complètement avant de les

utiliser une première fois (c’est à dire jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur du statut de chargement des piles

s’éteigne). L’indicateur du statut de chargement des piles s’allume pendant la durée du chargement,

et s’éteint lorsque le chargement est terminé.

Contrôle du volume

Appuyez sur le bouton « Speaker + » ou « Speaker –“ pour ajuster le volume.

Attention: Si le niveau de son est trop fort, il peut y avoir des retours, echos et bruit.

Mode privé

Appuyez sur le bouton avec le symbole « haut-parleur » pour passer en mode privé. La conversation

sera alors redirigée sur les écouteurs (Notez s’il vous plaît que pendant la conduite, vous n’êtes

autorisé qu’au port d’un écouteur).

Mode stéréo

Le B-Speech®Caran peut être employé avec l’écouteur stéréo livré comme récepteur stéréo et

comme système à main libre (seulement possible en utilisant un programme compatible, ex: IVT

Version 1.6.4 plus).

Exemples d’utilisation possible:

Appareillez le CARAN avec un lecteur de musique disposant de la fonction Bluetooth (ex: PC,

lecteur MP3 ). Appareillez ensuite le CARAN avec votre téléphone portable.

Vous pouvez désormais écouter de la musique et lorsque votre téléphone reVoit un appel, le

CARAN commute automatiquement du lecteur de musique au téléphone pour revenir au lecteur

une fois l’appel terminé.

Warning:

1. N’ouvrez jamais le CARAN vous-même, contactez pour cela un partenaire spécialisé.

2. L’utilisation du CARAN est possible à une température comprise entre –10°C et +40°C. Son

utilisation à d’autres températures pourrait l’endommager.

3. Ne chargez le B-Speech®Caran qu’avec le chargeur délivré avec le CARAN.

Piles; Avertissements!

Instalación

• Abra el compartimiento de las baterías e inserte 3 baterías recargables. Cierre el compartimiento

de baterías

IMPORTANTE: Antes del primer uso, las baterías están completamente cargadas al cabo

de 4 a 6 horas.

• Oprima el botón Encender/Apagar para arrancar el CARAN.

• El LED azul se enciende y el CARAN está preparado.

• Inicie el proceso de armonización (como descrito más abajo) entre el CARAN y su teléfono

celular.

• Fije el gancho para quitasol al dorso del CARAN.

• Ahora puede fijar el CARAN en un lado del quitasol.

Encender/apagar el dispositivo

El dispositivo se enciende o se apaga oprimiendo el botón de encender/apagar. El LED azul se

enciende y el dispositivo está en alerta.

Armonización

Es necesario armonizar el CARAN y su teléfono celular entes de poder usarse conjuntamente.

El CARAN automáticamente escoge el perfil “manos libres” o “auricular” y lo armoniza con el

teléfono celular.

Detalles del proceso de armonización:

Observación: La distancia entre su teléfono celular y el B-Speech®Caran no debe exceder 20

cm.

1. Encienda el CARAN.

2. Oprima y mantenga oprimido el botón de endender/apagar/armonización durante 4 segundos.

El visualizador de armonización empieza a parpadear alternativamente en azul y rojo. Ahora

es posible armonizar el CARAN con su teléfono celular.

3. Prepare su teléfono, activando la función de armonización de su teléfono celular, de acuerdo

al manual de su teléfono. Su teléfono encontrará el CARAN. Escoja el CARAN de la lista i

ndicada por su teléfono celular. Su teléfono preguntará el código de armonización. Teclee

“1234”. Este código no se puede cambiar, es fijo.

4. La armonización entre el CARAN y su teléfono celular fue exitosamente cumplida, y los dos

aparatos están listos para ser usados.

IMPORTANTE: Si el proceso de armonización falla, repítalo. Una vez establecida la conexión,

el CARAN está listo para ser usado. Entonces es posible hacer llamadas inalámbricamente, bajo

la condición que el teléfono celular está configurado apropiadamente.

NOTA:

1. Si desea interrumpir/parar el proceso de armonización, oprima de nuevo el botón correspondiente.

El CARAN pasa a modo de alerta.

2. Ajuste el volumen del CARAN de tal forma que le sea agradable.

3. Ajuste la manija giratoria del micrófono a un ángulo óptimo de transmisión de 120°.

Aceptar/rechazar una llamada

1. Oprima el botón verde “aceptar llamada para aceptar una llamada.

2. Oprima el botón rojo “rechazar llamada para rechazar una llamada.

Marcar con voz

Asegúrese que su teléfono apoya marcar con voz. Active esta función primero en su teléfono

celular y grabe los comandos vocales. Oprima el botón verde “aceptar llamada”, mientras el

dispositivo está en estado de alerta. Cuando escuche un sonido, diga el nombre almacenado y

se marcará el número almacenado.

Repetir el último número marcado

En modo de alerta, oprima el botón rojo de “rechazar llamada” para repetir el último número

marcado.

Segundo botón multi-funcional

Aceptar llamada

Se acepta una llamada al oprimir una vez el botón multi-funcional de la manija del micrófono

Terminar llamada

Oprima el botón multi-funcional en la manija del micrófono para terminar durante aprox. 2–3

segundos.

Pasar una llamada al teléfono celular

Cuando se desee pasar una llamada al teléfono celular, mantenga oprimido la tecla multiuso

durante aprox. 1 segundo.

Marcar con voz

Oprima el botón multi-funcional en modo de alerta para activar la función “marcar con voz”

OBSERVACIÓN:

Algunos teléfonos móviles no disponen de la función “marcar con voz”.

Indicador del estado de las baterías

Cuando la carga de las baterías es baja, habrá una advertencia cada 40 segundos, consistiendo

de que el indicador se enciende brevemente y se oye un sonido BiBiBiBi. Asimismo, se enciende

el LED rojo. Se le recomienda cargar las baterías sin demora.

Cargar las baterías

El CARAN utiliza, entre otras, baterías recargables AAA. Estas baterías no están completamente

cargadas cuando lo desempaque. Le recomendamos cargar las baterías completamente antes

del primer uso, o sea hasta que el indicador de cargar baterías se apague.

El indicador de estado de baterías se enciende durante el proceso de cargar, y se apaga al

terminarlo.

Control de volumen

Oprima altavoz + o altavoz – para ajustar el volumen.

ADERVTENCIA: se pueden provocar realimentación, eco o ruido si el volumen está demasiado

fuerte

Modo privado

Oprima el botón con el símbolo de altavoz para activar modo privado, lo que dirigirá la conversación

a los auriculares estéreo. (Recuerde que mientras esté manejando, se permite un solo auricular).

Modo estereo

Es posible emplear el B-Speech®Caran como receptor estéreo, así como dispositivo manos libres

(solamente posible con software correspondiente, p. ej. IVT versión 1.6.4. plus).

Ejemplos de uso:

Armonice el CARAN con su tocador de música con función Bluetooth (p. ej. ordenador, tocador

de mp3).

Es posible recibir música inalámbricamente con el CARAN. Cuando su teléfono celular recibe una

llamada, el CARAN cambia automáticamente de música a conversación y vuelve a música cuando

se termine la llamada.

Advertencia:

1. Favor de no abrir el CARAN Usted mismo, contacte su distribuidor local para el servicio.

2. Cargue el B-Speech®Caran únicamente con el cargador suministrado con el CARAN.

Introduzione

Breve introduzione alla tecnologia wireless Bluetooth

Bluetooth è una tecnologia di comunicazione wireless a breve distanza. Essa rende possibile il

trasferimento wireless tra apparecchi con interfaccia Bluetooth, come ad esempio i telefoni mobili,

Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), i Desktop e Notebooks, apparecchi di immissione ed emissione

(Mouse, tastiere, stampanti) ed apparecchi domestici. Bluetooth è adeguato alla normativa mondiale

per la gestione di trasmissioni radio all’interno della banda ISM riconosciuta a livello internazionale

(banda di frequenza scientifica e medica). Alll’interno della banda ISM (2,4 GHz bis 2,48 GHz)

Bluetooth può saltare 1,600 volte al secondo tra 79 frequenze separate con una ampiezza di

trasmissione sino a circa 10 metri (Classe II).

Installazione

• Aprire il vano batterie e posizionare le 3 batterie ricaricabili AAA.

• Richiudere il vano batterie.

INDICAZIONE BATTERIA! Al primoimpiego caricare completamente l’accumulatore per

4- 6 ore.

• Premere il tasto ON/OFF per avviare il CARAN.

• Il “LED” verde lampeggia ed il CARAN è pronto al funzionamento.

• Avviare il procedimento di pairing tra il CARAN ed il vostro cellulare come descritto di seguito,

• Fissate la clip del parasole sulla parte retrostante del CARAN.

• Ora il CARAN può essere spinto sopra il parasole laterale.

• Regolate l’asta del microfono al fine di garantire la trasmissione ottimale (angolo di circa 120°)

INDICAZIONE: In caso di asta del microfono piegata potrebbe verificarsi un effetto eco per

il vostro partner di conversazione.

Accensione / spegnimento dell’apparecchio

Premendo il tasto ON/OFF l’apparecchio viene acceso o spento. Il LED verde lampeggia ed ora

l'apparecchio è posto in modo Standby.
