make sure that there is a gap o
at least 10 cm on both sides and at the top.
•
Thealuminiumplateo
the amplifier at the rea
of the device serve to cool the built-in amplifier; To prevent the risk o
electric shock o
fire hazard due to overheating, ensure that curtains and other materials do not obstruct the ventilation
vents.
•
EFFECT O
MOISTURE: To reduce the risk o
fire, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this unit to rain, moisture,
dripping o
splashing. No ob
ects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the unit. I
ou spill an
liquid into
the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it off at the mains immediatel
. Withdraw the mains plug and consult
our
dealer.
•
FOREIGN MATERIAL: Ensure that no foreign material enters through the speake
openings and into the interior. This could
trigge
short circuits and even result in electric shock and fire.
•
CLEANING:Do not use an
t
pe o
abrasive pad o
abrasive cleaning solutions as these ma
damage the unit’s surface. Do
not use liquids to clean the unit.
•
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION: Check that the voltage marked on the rating label matches
our mains voltage.
•
LIGHTNING PROTECTION/PREVENTIVE MEASURES: I
the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period (e.g. when on
holida
), it should be disconnected from the mains b
removing the plug. The device should also be disconnected from
the mains in the event of a thunderstorm. Doing this will prevent damage caused b
lightning and overvoltage.
•
MAINS CABLE: Make sure the unit o
unit stand is not resting on top of the mains cable, as the weight o
the unit ma
damage the mains cable and create a safet
hazard. If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced b
the
manufacturer, its service agent, o

strips it must be ensured that the cable is not kinked at the point where it emerges from the socket. Do not connect o
remove the mains cable with damp hands.
•
OVERLOAD: Sockets, power strips and extension cables should not be overloaded. I
an overload occurs, there is a risk o
electric shock and fire.
•
The unit must be placed on a flat stable surface and should not be subjected to vibrations. Do not place the unit on sloped
or unstable surfaces as the unit may fall off or tip over.
The lightning flash with arrowhead s
mbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the
user to the presence o
uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the unit’s enclosure that ma
be o
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the use
to the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the manual accompan
ing the
unit.
Do not open! Risk o
electric shock!
CAUTION: To reduce the risk o
electric shock, do not remove screws. The unit
does not contain an
user-serviceable parts. Please leave all maintenance work
to qualified personnel.
Do not open an
fixed covers as this ma
expose dangerous voltages.
