Operating instructions
Note: Themouse has silent buttons which make no clicking
sound.
Battery
Connecting
1. Remove thereceiver from its storage place on thebase of
themouse and plug it into aUSB port on your computer.
Care and maintenance
• Clean themouse using alightly moistened cloth. Useonly
mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Remove thebatteries if themouse is not to be used for
along period.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local council.
1. Remove thebattery cover on thebase of themouse and
insert 2×AA/LR6 batteries. Notethepolarity markings
in thebattery compartment to ensure correct battery
insertion.
2. Refit thebattery cover.
The mouse automatically enters sleep mode after 30 minutes
of disuse to save battery power. Themouse wakes up as
soon as any of thebuttons is pressed. Themouse can be
completely switched off using theON/OFF power switch on
thebase.
2. Switch themouse on using thepower switch (ON/OFF) on
thebase of themouse.
3. The mouse will install itself automatically.
If the connection fails
Check themouse batteries and change if necessary.

themouse pointer can move across
thescreen). Press repeatedly to
select 1000, 1200 or 1600DPI.
Resetting the mouse back to factory settings
If themouse does not work properly despite having new bat-
teries, theproblem might be fixed by resetting it to factory
settings.
1. This procedure is done by first removing theUSB receiver
from thecomputer.
2. Switch themouse on using thepower switch on thebase
of themouse.
3. Press and hold down both theright mouse button and
theclickable scroll-wheel simultaneously and then plug
theUSB receiver back into thecomputer. Thiswill then
reset themouse back to its factory settings.
Store theUSB receiver in its allocated slot on thebase of
themouse during transport.
