Aanvullende veiligheidsvoorschriften voor

grasmaaiers

• Grasmaaiers mogen niet gebruikt worden door

kinderen of ongetrainde personen.

• Draag stevige schoenen of laarzen om uw voeten

te beschermen. Bedien het apparaat niet wanneer

u blootsvoets of met open sandalen loopt.

• Draag een lange broek om uw benen te

beschermen.

• Verwijder voordat u het apparaat in gebruik

neemt stokken, stenen, draad en andere

obstakels van het te bewerken oppervlak.

• Controleer voor gebruik altijd de conditie van het

snijmechanisme. Gebruik het apparaat niet als

het snijmechanisme slijtage vertoont.

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit met een

beschadigde beschermkap of ontbrekende

veiligheidsvoorzieningen, zoals

grasopvangvoorzieningen.

• Kantel het apparaat niet wanneer u de motor

inschakelt.

• Gebruik de machine alleen bij voldoende licht.

• Gebruik de machine niet wanneer het regent,

onweert of als het gras nat is.

• Maai nooit op en neer op een helling. Maai de

helling altijd overdwars.

• Maai geen uiterst steile hellingen.

• Wees uiterst voorzichtig wanneer u zich

achteruit verplaatst of wanneer u het apparaat

naar u toe trekt.

• Til het apparaat nooit op of draag het apparaat

nooit wanneer de motor draait.

• Voorkom dat het snijmechanisme tijdens gebruik

in contact met harde voorwerpen komt.

• Indien het apparaat hevig begint te trillen of vast

komt te zitten, schakel het dan onmiddellijk uit

en controleer het op mogelijke schade.

• Schakel het apparaat uit en wacht tot het

snijmechanisme volledig tot stilstand is

gekomen voordat u het apparaat wegzet.

• Probeer nooit het snijmechanisme zelf tot

stilstand te brengen.

• Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact:

- voor het verlaten van het apparaat;

- voor het ontstoppen van het apparaat;

- voor het controleren of reinigen van het

apparaat, of voor het verrichten van

onderhoud aan het apparaat;

- na het in contact komen met een vreemd

voorwerp. Controleer het apparaat onmiddellijk

op schade en repareer indien nodig;

- wanneer het apparaat abnormaal begint te

vibreren (controleer onmiddellijk).

Dit apparaat produceert tijdens gebruik

een elektromagnetisch veld. Dit veld kan

in bepaalde omstandigheden interfereren

met actieve of passieve medische

implantaten. Om het risico van ernstig of

dodelijk letsel te verminderen, raden wij

aan dat personen met medische

implantaten hun arts en de fabrikant van

het medische implantaat raadplegen

alvorens dit apparaat te gebruiken.

Gebruik en onderhoud van de machine

• Controleer dat alle bouten, moeren en

schroeven goed aangedraaid zijn.

• Controleer dat het snijmes en de schroef van

het snijmes goed vastgemaakt zijn. Wanneer de

snijranden geslepen moeten worden, moet dit

even op beide zijden worden gedaan om

onbalans te voorkomen. Als het snijmes

beschadigd is, moet het vervangen worden.

• Draag altijd een lange broek en stevig, antislip

schoeisel tijdens het gebruik van de machine.

• Blijf alert tijdens het gebruik alert op vreemde

objecten die weggeslingerd kunnen worden door

de machine.

• Houd kinderen en dieren op een veilige afstand

wanneer de machine gebruikt wordt.

• Til de machine nooit op met draaiende motor.

• Steek je handen of voeten nooit onder de

grasmaaier of in de achteruitworp opening

wanneer de motor draait.

• Forceer de machine niet. Gebruik de juiste

machine voor uw toepassing. De juiste machine

zal het werk beter en veiliger doen.

• Houd handen of voeten uit de buurt van

draaiende delen.

• Onderhoud de machine. Controleer de werking

van bewegende delen, onderdelen op breuk en

andere omstandigheden die van invloed kunnen

zijn op de werking van de machine.

• Laat de machine repareren als deze beschadigd

is. Veel ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door

slecht onderhouden apparatuur.

• Dompel of spuit de machine nooit met water of

andere vloeistoffen. Houd de handgrepen droog,

schoon en vrij van vuil. Reinig na elk gebruik.

• Berg de niet-actieve machine op buiten het

bereik van kinderen en sta niet toe dat personen

die onbekend zijn met de machine of deze

instructies om deze te bedienen. Gebruik van de

machine door onervaren gebruikers is

gevaarlijk.

ELEKTRISCHE VEILIGHEID

Controleer of de op het typeplaatje van

de machine vermelde spanning

overeenkomt met de ter plaatse

beschikbare netspanning.

• Sluit het apparaat voor veilig gebruik aan op een

aardlekschakelaar van max. 30 mA.

Inhoud verpakking

De verpakking bevat de volgende onderdelen:

MONTAGE

Monteer de kabelgeleider (fig. B)

Schuif de kabelgeleider (a) over de bovenste

duwbeugel (b).

Monteer de duwbeugels aan elkaar (fig. C)

Plaats de bovenste duwbeugel (b) over de onderste

duwbeugel (a). Voer aan beide zijden een bout (c)

van bin-nenuit naar buiten door het gat in beide

beugels. Draai de kunststof bevestigingsschroeven

(d) vast.

Monteer de duwbeugels aan de machine (fig. D)

Plaats de samengevoegde duwbeugels (a) in de

invoerbuizen (b) links en rechts tot het palletje op de

onderste duwbuis in het gat van de invoerbuis klikt.

Monteer de wielen (fig. E + F)

Plaats ieder wiel (a) over een as (b), voer een

bevestigingpin (c) door het gaatje in de as en duw

een afdekkap in het wiel.

Klem de kabels vast (fig. G)

Klem de kabel (b) tegen de duwbeugel (c) vast met

de 2 kabelhouders (a).

Monteer de opvangbak (fig. H)

Klik beide delen in elkaar.

Plaats de opvangbak (fig. I)

Hanteer de juiste volgorde.

1. Doe de bovenklep omhoog,

2. Laat de opvangbak zakken

3. Laat de bovenklep zakken.

GEBRUIK

Controleer altijd of de machine is

uitgeschakeld voor u de stekker in het

stopcontact stopt. Sluit de stekker aan op

een stopcontact dat met een

aardlekschakelaar beveiligd is.

• Sluit het apparaat aan op een geschikt

verlengsnoer.

• Steek het verlengsnoer (snoer en stekker) door

de lusopening en zet het vast rond de haak voor

u de stekker aansluit. Dit voorkomt dat het

verlengsnoer tijdens het werken loskomt.

• Steek de contrastekker van de kabel in de

stroomaansluiting (fig A, 12)

• Maak een zigzagbeweging over het maaiveld

zodat de maaier nooit tussen snoer en

aansluitpunt komt (fig. K).

• Houd het apparaat met beide handen vast.

• Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van harde

voorwerpen en beplanting.

• Ga bij het bewerken van lang gras laag voor

laag te werk. Stel het apparaat eerst in op de

maximum maaihoogte, vervolgens op een

lagere maaihoogte.

• Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend voor het

bewerken van droog gras.

• Ledig na ieder gebruik de opvangbak.

Inschakelen (fig. A)

Duw de veiligheidsknop (12) eerst in, houd ingedrukt

en trek tegelijkertijd de schakelaarhendel (11) naar

u toe. De motor start en u kunt de veiligheidsknop

loslaten.

Uitschakelen (fig. A)

Laat de schakelaarhendel (11) los.

Maaihoogte aanpassen

Koppel de maaier los van de

stroomtoevoer en zorg ervoor dat het

mes niet meer draait voordat u de hoogte

aanpast.

Om de gewenste maaihoogte te verkrijgen, worden

beide wielassen verplaatst aan de onderzijde van

het maaihuis. Er zijn drie maaihoogten beschikbaar:

25, 40 en 55 mm.

NEDERLANDS

• Draai de machine op zijn kant.

• Plaats de wielas in de gewenste afstelpositie

voor de maaihoogte:

- Trek de wielas van de voorwielen in de richting

van de voorzijde van de maaier.

- Trek de wielas van de achterwielen in de

richting van de opvangbak van de maaier.

- Zorg ervoor dat de linker en rechterwielen op

gelijke hoogte worden afgesteld.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

Onderhoud

Verwijder voordat u onderhoud aan het

apparaat verricht altijd eerst de stekker

uit het stopcontact.

• Reinig regelmatig de ventilatieopeningen.

• Verwijder na ieder gebruik gras en vuil van het

mes en uit de opvangbak.

Snijmes inspecteren

Inspecteer het snijmes voor schade, scheuren en

excessieve roest of corrosie. Een bot snijmes kan

worden gescherpt, maar een snijmes dat excessief

gebruikt, gebogen, gescheurd of beschadigd is,

moet vervangen worden.

Snijmes verwijderen en installeren (fig. J)

Draag beschermende handschoenen

tijdens het verwijderen en installeren.

• Draai de maaier op zijn kant.

• Verwijder de bout (a) met een dopsleutel.

• Gebruik een houten blok om te voorkomen dat

het snijmes gaat draaien.

• Verwijder het snijmes (b).

• Installeer het snijmes met de bout op het

mesbevestigingswiel (c).

• Draai de bout vast.

• Controleer de balans van het snijmes na het

installeren.

Een ongebalanceerd mes veroorzaakt

hevige trillingen met gevaar voor

ongevallen.

PROBLEMEN EN OPLOSSINGEN

Additional safety instructions for lawn mowers

• Lawnmowers should not be used by children or

untrained persons.

• Wear sturdy shoes or boots to protect your feet.

Do not operate the device when walking

barefoot or with open sandals.

• Wear long pants to protect your legs.

• Before using the machine, remove sticks,

stones, wire and other obstacles from the

surface to be worked.

• Always check the condition of the cutting

mechanism before use. Do not use the

appliance if the cutting mechanism shows wear.

• Never use the appliance with a damaged guard

or missing safety devices, such as grass

collectors.

• Do not tilt the device when switching on the

motor.

• Only use the machine in sufficient light.

• Do not use the machine when it is raining,

thunderstorms or when the grass is wet.

• Never mow up and down a slope. Always mow

across the slope.

• Do not mow extremely steep slopes.

• Use extreme caution when backing up or pulling

the machine toward you.

• Never lift or carry the device when the engine is

• Prevent the cutting mechanism from coming into

• If the device starts to vibrate violently or gets

stuck, turn it off immediately and inspect it for

possible damage.

• Switch off the appliance and wait for the cutting

mechanism to come to a complete stop before

putting the appliance away.

• Never attempt to stop the cutting mechanism

yourself.

Machine use and maintenance

• Check that all bolts, nuts and screws are

properly tightened.

• Check that the cutting blade and the cutting

blade screw are securely fastened. If the cutting

edges need to be sharpened, this should be

done equally on both sides to avoid imbalance.

If the cutting blade is damaged, it must be

replaced.

• Always wear long pants and sturdy, non-slip

footwear when using the machine.

• Stay alert during operation, alert for foreign

objects that could be thrown by the machine.

• Keep children and animals at a safe distance

when the machine is in use.

• Never lift the machine with the engine running.

• Never put your hands or feet under the

lawnmower or in the rear discharge opening

when the engine is running.

• Do not force the machine. Use the right machine

for your application. The right machine will do

the job better and safer.

• Keep hands or feet away from rotating parts.

• Maintain the machine. Check the operation of

moving parts, parts for breakage and other

conditions that may affect the operation of the

machine.

• Have the machine repaired if it is damaged.

Many accidents are caused by poorly

maintained equipment.

• Never immerse or spray the machine with water

or other liquids. Keep the handles dry, clean and

free from dirt. Clean after each use.

• Store the idle machine out of the reach of

children and do not allow persons unfamiliar

with the machine or these instructions to operate

it. Use of the machine by inexperienced users is

dangerous.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Check whether the voltage stated on the

machine’s nameplate corresponds to the

locally available mains voltage.

• For safe use, connect the device to an earth

leakage circuit breaker of max. 30 mA.

MOUNTING

Mounting the cable guide (fig. B)

Slide the cable guide (a) over the top push handle (b).

Mounting the push handles (fig. C)

Place the upper push handle (b) over the lower

push handle (a). Insert a bolt (c) from the inside out

through the hole in both brackets on both sides.

Secure with the plastic screws (d).

Mounting the push handles on the machine (fig. D)

Insert the assembled push bars (a) into the left and

right input tubes (b) until the catcher on the lower

push tube clicks into the hole in the input tube.

Mounting the wheels (fig. E + F)

Place each wheel (a) over an axle (b), feed a

mounting pin (c) through the hole in the axle and

push a cover into the wheel.

Clamping the cable (fig. G)

Clamp the cable (b) against the push handle (c) with

2 cable holders (a).

Assembling the grass catcher (fig. H)

Click both parts together.

Placing the drip tray (fig. I)

Use the correct order.

1. Lift the top cover,

2. Lower the grass catcher

3. Lower the top cover.

USE

Always make sure that the machine is

switched off before plugging in the mains

plug. Connect the plug to an outlet

protected by an earth leakage circuit

breaker.

• Connect the appliance to a suitable extension

cord.

• Insert the extension cord (cord and plug)

through the loop hole and secure it around the

hook before plugging in. This prevents the

extension cord from coming loose while working.

• Plug the female connector of the cable into the

power socket (fig A, 15)

• Make a zigzag movement across the ground so

that the mower never gets between the cord and

the connection point (fig. J).

• Hold the device with both hands.

• Keep the device away from hard objects and

plants.

• When working long grass, proceed layer by

layer. First set the unit to the maximum cutting

height, then to a lower cutting height.

• Only use the device for working on dry grass.

• Empty the grass catcher after each use.

Switching on (fig. A)

Push in the safety button (12) first, keep it pressed

and at the same time pull the switch lever (11)

towards you. The engine starts and you can release

the safety button.

Switching off (fig. A)

Release the switch lever (11).

Adjusting the cutting height

Disconnect the mower from the power

supply and make sure the blade has

stopped rotating before adjusting the

height.

To achieve the desired cutting height, both wheel

axles are moved on the underside of the mower

deck. Three cutting heights are available: 25, 40 and

55 mm.

• Turn the machine on its side.

• Place the wheel axle in the desired cutting

height adjustment position:

- Pull the wheel axle from the front wheels

towards the front of the mower.

- Pull the wheel axle off the rear wheels towards

the mower’s collector.

- Make sure the left and right wheels are

adjusted to the same height.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Maintenance

Always remove the plug from the socket

before performing any maintenance on

the device.

• Clean the ventilation openings regularly.

• Remove grass and dirt from the blade and the

collector after each use.

Inspecting the cutter blade

Inspect the cutting blade for damage, cracks, and

excessive rust or corrosion. A dull blade can be

sharpened, but a blade that is overused, bent,

cracked or damaged should be replaced.

Removing and installing the cutting blade (fig. J)

Wear protective gloves during removal

and installation.

• Turn the mower on its side.

• Remove the bolt (a) with a socket wrench.

• Use a wooden block to prevent the cutting blade

from turning.

• Remove the cutting blade (b).

• Install the cutting blade with the bolt on the

blade mounting wheel (c).

• Tighten the bolt.

• Check the balance of the cutting blade after

installation.

An unbalanced blade will cause severe

vibrations with risk of accident.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Problem Solution

Motor does not run. Check the mains connection cable.

Start on short grass or an area that has already been mowed.

Clean discharge channel/housing – mowing blade should rotate freely.

Engine power drops. Correct the cutting height.

Clean the drain/housing.

POUR LES TONDEUSES À GAZON

• Les tondeuses à gazon ne doivent pas être

utilisées par des enfants ou des personnes qui

ne savent pas s’en servir.

• Portez des chaussures ou des bottes solides

pour protéger vos pieds. N’utilisez pas l’appareil

lorsque vous marchez pieds nus ou avec des

sandales ouvertes. Portez un pantalon long pour

protéger vos jambes.

• Avant d’utiliser la machine, retirez les bâtons,

pierres, fils de fer et autres obstacles de la

surface à travailler.

• Vérifiez toujours l’état des mécanismes de

coupe avant utilisation. N’utilisez pas la machine

lorsque le mécanisme de coupe est usé.

• N’utilisez jamais la machine avec un dispositif

de protection ou de sécurité endommagés,

comme les collecteurs d’herbe.

• Ne penchez pas l’appareil lorsque vous allumez

le moteur.

• N’utilisez la machine que s’il y a assez de

lumière.

• N’utilisez jamais la machine lorsqu’il pleut, qu’il y

a des orages ou que l’herbe est mouillée.

• Ne tondez jamais en montant et en descendant

une pente. Tondez toujours en travers de la

pente.

• Ne tondez pas sur des pentes très raides.

• Faites très attention lorsque vous tirez ou que

vous reculez la machine vers vous.

• Ne soulevez et ne portez jamais la machine

lorsque le moteur est en marche.

• Empêchez le mécanisme de coupe d’entrer en

contact avec des objets durs pendant

l’utilisation.

• Si la machine commence à vibrer violemment

ou se coince, arrêtez-la immédiatement et

vérifiez si elle n’est pas endommagée.

• Éteignez la machine, puis attendez que le

mécanisme de coupe s’arrête totalement avant

de la ranger.

• N’essayez jamais d’arrêter le mécanisme de

coupe vous-même.

• Débranchez le câble d’alimentation de la prise

secteur :

- Avant de laisser la machine ;

- Avant de déboucher la machine ;
