Aufladen

Die ideale Umgebungstemperatur für das Laden liegt zwischen 15 °C und

35 °C. Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht längere Zeit Temperaturen über 50 °C aus.

• Laden Sie das ausgeschaltete Gerät über das Spezialkabel (6) am Netz

oder in der Ladestation (7) auf.

• Laden Sie das Gerät bei der Erstladung oder wenn es einige Monate nicht

benutzt wurde, mindestens 4 Stunden (Type 5427: 8 Stunden).

• Wenn das Gerät voll geladen ist, entladen Sie es durch kabellosen

Gebrauch wieder. Laden Sie es anschließend wieder voll auf. Die

maximale Akku-Kapazität wird erst nach mehreren Lade-/

Entladevorgängen erreicht.

• Voll geladen kann das Gerät ca. 50 Minuten kabellos betrieben werden,

abhängig vom Haartyp, der geschnitten wird.

• Wenn der Akku leer ist, kann der Haarschneider auch direkt über das

Spezialkabel betrieben werden.

Ladekontrollleuchte

Type 5429

• Die im Ein-/Ausschalter integrierte Ladekontrollleuchte (4) zeigt den

Ladestatus des Akkus.

• Die Ladekontrollleuchte blinkt grün, wenn das Gerät geladen wird. Wenn

der Akku voll geladen ist, leuchtet die Ladekontrollleuchte dauerhaft

grün, vorausgesetzt, das Gerät ist am Netz angeschlossen.

• Während der kabellosen Verwendung blinkt die Ladekontrollleuchte grün.

• Die Ladekontrollleuchte blinkt rot, wenn die Akkuladung zur Neige geht.

In der Regel können Sie Ihren Bart- bzw. Haarschnitt noch beenden.

Type 5427

• Die Ladekontrollleuchte (4) zeigt an, dass das Gerät geladen wird. Ist der

Akku voll geladen, erlischt sie.

Allgemeine Informationen zum Haareschneiden

• Ihre Haare sollten sauber, gut gekämmt, entwirrt und trocken sein.

• Wenn Sie das Haareschneiden noch nicht gewöhnt sind, beginnen Sie mit

einer längeren Einstellung der Schnittstufe und reduzieren Sie diese später.

So schneiden Sie das Haar nicht versehentlich kürzer als gewünscht.

• Führen Sie langsame und kontrollierte Bewegungen aus; zwingen Sie den

Haarschneider nicht schneller durch die Haare, als das Gerät schneiden

kann.

• Schütteln oder pusten Sie zwischendurch die Haare vom Gerät. Wenn

sich der Distanzkamm mit Haaren zusetzt, sollten Sie diese entfernen.

• Um Ihren Fortschritt während des Schneidens zu kontrollieren, sollten Sie

die Haare hin und wieder in die Richtung der gewünschten Frisur kämmen.

Haareschneiden

Schneiden mit Kammaufsatz

• Setzen Sie den Kammaufsatz (1a/1b) auf das ausgeschaltete Gerät.

• Drücken Sie die Schnittlängeneinstellung (3) und schieben Sie den

Kammaufsatz bis zur gewünschten Schnittlänge nach oben.

Mögliche Längeneinstellungen in mm:

Großer Kammaufsatz (1a) = 14 / 17 / 20 / 23 / 26 / 29 / 32 / 35

Kleiner Kammaufsatz (1b) = 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 18 / 21 / 24

• Schalten Sie das Gerät durch Drücken des Ein-/Ausschalters (4) ein und

schneiden Sie Ihre Haare auf die gewünschte Länge.

Schneiden ohne Kammaufsatz

• Nehmen Sie den Kammaufsatz ab.

• Drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (4), um mit dem Schneiden zu

beginnen.

• Führen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich parallel zur Haut (A). Führen Sie es

langsam und vorsichtig gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung.

• Setzen Sie das Schneidsystem nur zum Konturenschneiden genau

senkrecht auf (B).

• Kippen Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall, solange es die Haut berührt (C).

• Vermeiden Sie ruckartige Bewegungen.

Reinigung

Durch regelmäßiges Reinigen erhalten Sie eine optimale Schneidleistung.

Reinigung mit Bürstchen

• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Drücken Sie mit dem Daumen von vorne

gegen das Schneidsystem und öffnen Sie dieses. Es öffnet sich ca. 45°

und kann auch abgenommen werden.

• Reinigen Sie mit der Bürste das Schneidsystem und das innere Gehäuse.

Reinigung mit Wasser

• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Halten Sie den Gerätekopf und das

Schneidsystem unter warmes, fließendes Wasser, bis alle Rückstände

entfernt sind. Sie können auch das geöffnete Schneidsystem abwaschen.

So halten Sie Ihr Gerät in Bestform

Um eine optimale Funktion des Schneidsystems zu gewährleisten, muss es

nach jedem Gebrauch mit Leichtmaschinenöl geölt werden, speziell nach

dem Reinigen mit Wasser (D).

Akku-Pflege

Um die maximale Kapazität der Akkus zu erhalten, sollten Sie das Gerät

durch Gebrauch ca. alle sechs Monate vollständig entladen. Laden Sie

anschließend das Gerät wieder voll auf.

Umweltschutz

Charging

The best environmental temperature for charging is between 15 °C and 35 °C.

Do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 50 °C for extended

periods of time.

• Using the special cord set (6) or the charging stand (7), connect the

appliance to an electrical outlet with the motor switched off.

• When charging for the first time or when the appliance is not used for

a few months, leave the appliance to charge continuously for at least

4 hours (Type 5427: 8 hours).

• Once the appliance is completely charged, discharge it (until empty)

through normal use. Then recharge to full capacity. Maximum capacity

will only be reached after several charging/discharging cycles.

• A full charge provides at least 50 minutes of cordless operating time.

This may vary depending on the hair you are trimming.

• If the rechargeable batteries are discharged, you may also use the

appliance by connecting to an electrical outlet via the special cord set.

Charge indicator

Type 5429

• The charge indicator integrated in the on/off switch (4) shows the battery

status.

• The charge indicator blinks green when the appliance is being charged.

When the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator shines

permanently green provided the appliance is connected to an electrical

outlet.

• During cordless use the charge indicator blinks green.

• The charge indicator flashes red when the battery is running low.

You should be able to finish your current trimming sequence.

Type 5427

• The charge indicator (4) shows that the appliance is being charged.

When the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator turns off.

General hair cutting information

• The hair should be clean, well combed, tangle-free and dry.

• If you are not used to clipping hair, begin with a higher setting and then

reduce the setting to avoid cutting more hair than desired.

• Use a slow and controlled movement. Do not force the clipper through

the hair faster than the clipper can cut it.

• In between, shake or blow off the hair from the clipper. If too much hair is

caught in the distance comb, remove it.

• To control your progress during clipping, regularly comb the hair in the

style desired.

Hair cutting

Hair cutting with hair clipping comb

• Place the hair clipping comb (1a/1b) on the appliance with the appliance

turned off.

• Press the length selector (3) and slide the hair comb up to your desired

hair length. Possible length settings (mm):

Long hair clipping comb (1a) = 14 / 17 / 20 / 23 / 26 / 29 / 32 / 35

Short hair clipping comb (1b) = 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 18 / 21 / 24

• Turn the appliance on by pressing the on/off switch (4) and cut hair to the

desired length.

Hair cutting without hair clipping comb

• Remove the clipping comb.

• To start clipping, turn the appliance on by pressing the on/off switch (4).

• Move the cutting system only in a parallel position to the skin (A, cutting

hair). Slowly and carefully move the appliance against the direction of hair

growth.

• Only when trimming contours the cutting system should be positioned

vertically (B, trimming).

• Make sure you do not tilt the appliance while it is touching the skin (C).

• Avoid jerky movements while cutting.

Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures better trimming performance.

Cleaning with the brush

• Switch off the appliance. Open the cutting system by pressing with the

thumb against the trimmer from the front side. It opens by ca. 45°.

• Using the brush clean the trimmers and the space behind the trimmer

(inside the housing).

Cleaning with water

• Switch off the appliance and rinse the head and the trimmer under warm

running water until all residues have been removed. You can also rinse the

opened cutting system.

Keeping your appliance in top shape

To keep the cutting system working properly, oil it with light machine oil (D)

after each use, especially when cleaning under running water.

Preserving the batteries

In order to maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable batteries,

the appliance has to be fully discharged (by operating) every 6 months

approximately. Then recharge the appliance to full capacity.

Environmental notice

Product contains batteries and/or recyclable electric waste. For

environment protection do not dispose of in household waste, but for

recycling take to electric waste collection points provided in your

country.

quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

commencing on the date of purchase (Our Warranty).

Our Warranty applies in all States and Territories of Australia and in

New Zealand and is in addition to any mandatory statutory obligations

its manufacturer. Our Warranty does not purport to exclude, restrict

or modify any such mandatory statutory obligations.

Our Warranty only covers defects in the appliance resulting from faults in

result of faults in workmanship or materials, it will be exchanged by your

Charge de l’appareil

La température ambiante optimale pour la mise en charge de l’appareil se

situe entre 15 et 35 °C. Ne pas exposer l’appareil à des températures

supérieures à 50 °C trop longtemps.

• À l’aide du câble d’alimentation (6) ou de la base de recharge (7),

connectez l’appareil, éteint, à une prise électrique.

• Lors de la première mise en charge ou lorsque l’appareil n’a pas été

utilisé pendant plusieurs mois, laissez l’appareil charger en continu

pendant au moins 4 heures (Type 5427: 8 heures).

• Une fois que l’appareil est complètement chargé, utilisez-le normalement

jusqu’à ce qu’il soit complètement déchargé. Puis le recharger complè-

tement. La capacité maximum de la batterie ne sera atteinte qu’après

plusieurs cycles de charge/décharge.

• Après une charge complète, l’autonomie de l’appareil est de 50 minutes

minimum. Cette autonomie varie toutefois selon les poils que vous

souhaitez tondre.

• Si les batteries rechargeables sont déchargées, vous pouvez aussi

utiliser l’appareil en le branchant à une prise électrique via le câble

d’alimentation.

Témoin lumineux de charge

Type 5429

• L’indicateur de charge, intégré dans le bouton marche/arrêt, vous

informe de l’état de la batterie.

• Le voyant vert clignote lorsque l’appareil est en charge. Lorsque la

batterie est complètement chargée, le voyant vert s’éclaire en perma-

nence tant que l’appareil reste branché sur une prise de courant.

• Lors de l’utilisation sans fil, le voyant vert clignote.

• Lorsque la batterie est en fin d’autonomie un voyant rouge s’allume.

Vous devriez néanmoins pouvoir terminer la coupe en cours.

Type 5427

• Le témoin lumineux de charge (4) s’allume, indiquant que la tondeuse est

en train de se charger. Lorsque la batterie est complètement rechargée,

le témoin de charge s’éteint.

Information sur la coupe de cheveux

• Les cheveux doivent être propres, bien peignés, démêlés et secs.

• Si vous n’êtes pas habitué à couper vos cheveux, commencez par un

réglage de longueur plus élevé, puis diminuez-le ensuite pour éviter de

couper plus que souhaité.

• Adoptez un mouvement lent et contrôlé. Ne forcez pas l’appareil à couper

plus vite qu’il ne peut le faire.

• De temps en temps, secouez ou soufflez sur le sabot pour évacuer les

cheveux. Si trop de cheveux s’accumulent dans le sabot, retirez-le et

nettoyez-le.

• Pour contrôler la progression de la coupe, peignez régulièrement vos

cheveux selon le style désiré.

Coupe de cheveux avec sabot pour cheveux

• Positionnez le sabot (1a/1b) sur l’appareil lorsque celui-ci est éteint.

• Appuyez sur le bouton de précision (3) et faites glisser le sabot jusqu’à

la longueur de cheveux désirée. Différentes longueurs de coupe

possibles (mm):

Sabot spécial cheveux longs (1a) = 14 / 17 / 20 / 23 / 26 / 29 / 32 / 35

Sabot spécial cheveux courts (1b) = 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 18 / 21 / 24

• Allumez l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (4) et coupez

selon la longueur désirée.

Coupe de cheveux sans sabot pour cheveux

• Enlevez le sabot.

• Pour commencer à tondre, allumez l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton

marche/arrêt (4).

• Déplacez le système de coupe uniquement dans un mouvement parallèle

à la peau (A, coupe des cheveux). Déplacez lentement et précaution-

neusement l’appareil dans le sens inverse de la pousse du cheveux.

• Le système de coupe doit être positionné verticalement uniquement lors

de la tonte des contours (B, tonte).

• Assurez-vous que vous n’inclinez pas l’appareil lorsque celui-ci touche

votre peau (C).

• Evitez les mouvements saccadés pendant la coupe.

Nettoyage

Un nettoyage régulier garantit une performance de rasage optimale.

Nettoyage à la brosse

• Arrêtez l’appareil. Repoussez avec votre pouce le système de coupe pour

l’ouvrir. Il s’ouvre à environ 45°.

• Utilisez la brosse pour nettoyer les lames de la tondeuse ainsi que

l’arrière du bloc de coupe (et l’espace entre le boîtier).

Nettoyage à l’eau

• Arrêtez l’appareil puis rincez la tête et les lames de la tondeuse à l’eau

chaude courante jusqu’à enlever tous les résidus. Vous pouvez

également rincer le système de coupe lorsqu’il est ouvert.

Gardez votre appareil en bon état

Pour que le système de coupe continue à fonctionner correctement,

appliquez une goutte d’huile de machine légère (D) après chaque

utilisation, tout particulièrement lorsque vous le nettoyez a l’eau courante.

Entretien des batteries

Afin de conserver la capacité maximum des batteries rechargeables,

l’appareil doit être complètement déchargé en opération environ tous les

6 mois. Puis rechargez-le à sa pleine capacité.

Respect de l’environnement

Ce produit contient des batteries rechargeables et/ou des déchets

électriques recyclables. Afin de protéger l’environnement, ne jetez

jamais l’appareil dans les ordures ménagères à la fin de sa durée de

vie. Remettez-le à votre centre de service agréé Braun ou déposez-le

dans des sites de récupération appropriés conformément aux

réglementations locales ou nationales en vigueur.
