The Mount Converter MC-21 allows you to use your SIGMA interchangeable
lenses in SA and EF mounts with L mount camera bodies. Please read
this instruction manual before using the mount converter. In addition,
please also refer to the instruction manual of your lens and camera.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
z Please attach the front cap to the lens when the Mount Converter
MC-21 is mounted to a camera. Otherwise, it could cause a fire if
exposed to sunlight.

Due to the shape of mount parts, gentle handling is recommended
to
avoid any injury.

ATTACHMENT
Please refer to the instruction manual of your camera.
Soon after switching the power of the camera ON, the LED lamp on the
Mount Converter MC-21 will light up for about 3 seconds. The LED lamp
makes it easier to recognize whether the attached lens is compatible
or not, as well as whether the control data of the mount converter
needs to be updated.
Green light The lens is compatible.
Orange light
The lens is compatible but lens firmware needs to
be updated using the SIGMA USB DOCK.
No light The lens is not compatible.
z Depending on the camera body, the camera firmware may need
updating. For detailed information on updating the camera and lens

FOCUSING
Autofocus
For autofocus operation, set the focus mode switch on the lens to “AF”
and set the focus mode on the camera to AF.
z Some cameras are not compatible with AF-C.
z The lenses with

in the [AFŬ] column can have the focus adjusted
by turning the focus ring after AF sets the focus point.
z
Depending on the camera, it may not be possible to use “Full-time MF
function” (Manual Override). For detailed information for “Full-time
MF function”, please refer to the instruction manual of your lens.
z
With some cameras, AF Function button does not work.
Manual Focus
For manual focus operation set the focus mode switch on the lens to
“MF” or set the focus mode of the camera to MF.
STABILIZATION
Optical stabilization (OS) and In-Body Stabilization cannot be used at
the same time. It is necessary to turn off one of the stabilization
functions.
TRIPOD SOCKET
The mount converter is equipped with a tripod socket. It is possible to
detach the tripod socket with the hex key (supplied). (fig.2)
z It is easy to lose the removed screws, so please ensure you keep all of
them.
z Ensure to use the supplied hex key to attach the device. There is a
risk that the mount converter might be damaged with other tools
which may tighten excessively.
FIXING SCREW (FOR SIGMA SA-L)
With the supplied screw, it is possible to fix the MC-21 to the SIGMA
cameras housing L-mount. It will stop the slight wobbles and improve
the stability of the camera and lens. Using the screwdriver (supplied),
please fix the mount converter with the screw (supplied). (fig.3)
z When handling the screw, be careful to avoid dropping them into the
camera body.
PRECAUTIONS
The Mount Converter MC-21 has a dust and splash proof construction.
Although this product can be used under light rain, it is different from
being water proof. It requires extra attention when used by waterside.
When the internal mechanism of the product is damaged by water, it
may not be possible for it to be repaired.

Bitte beachten Sie die Bedienungsanleitung Ihrer Kamera.
Kurz nach dem Einschalten der Kamera leuchtet die LED-Leuchtanzeige
am Anschluss-Konverter MC-21 ungefähr 3 Sekunden lang auf. Anhand
der LED-Leuchtanzeige ist sofort zu erkennen, ob ein angeschlossenes
Objektiv kompatibel ist und ob die Steuerdaten des Anschluss-Adapters

Autofokus
Für den Autofokusbetrieb stellen Sie bitte sowohl den Fokusschalter
am Objektiv wie auch die Fokussierbetriebsart der Kamera auf AF.

z Bei
Objektiven,

STATIVSOCKEL
Der Anschluss-Konverter ist mit einem Stativsockel ausgestattet. Bei
Bedarf lässt sich der Stativsockel mittels des mitgelieferten
Sechskantschlüssels abnehmen. (Abb. 2)

Geben
Sie
bitte
acht,
dass
die
entfernten
Schrauben
nicht
verloren
gehen.
z Um den Sockel wieder anzubringen, verwenden Sie bitte ebenso den
mitgelieferten Sechskantschlüssel. Es besteht sonst die Gefahr, dass
der Anschluss-Konverter durch übermäßiges Festziehen mit anderen
Werkzeugen Schaden nehmen könnte.
BEFESTIGUNGSSCHRAUBE
(für SIGMA SA-L)
Mit der mitgelieferten Schraube lässt sich der MC-21 an SIGMA
Kameragehäusen mit L-Mount fixieren. Dadurch wird leichtes Wackeln
verhindert und die Stabilität von Kamera und Objektiv verbessert.
Befestigen Sie den Anschluss-Konverter mithilfe des mitgelieferten
Schraubendrehers und der ebenfalls mitgelieferten Schraube. (Abb. 3)
z Achten Sie beim Umgang mit der Schraube darauf, dass diese nicht in
das Kameragehäuse fällt.
VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
Der Anschluss-Konverter MC-21 ist staub- und spritzwassergeschützt.
Der Konverter kann zwar bei leichtem Regen verwendet werden, ist
aber nicht wasserdicht. In Wassernähe ist daher besondere Vorsicht
geboten. Wasserschäden an inneren Mechanismen des Produkts
können unter Umständen nicht repariert werden.

MISE AU POINT
Autofocus
Pour le mode autofocus, réglez le sélecteur de mode de mise au point de
l'objectif sur "AF" et réglez le mode de mise au point du boîtier sur AF.
z La compatibilité avec le mode AF-C de certains boîtiers n'est pas
assurée.
z Les objectifs marqués Ũ dans la colonne [AF Ŭ ] permettent
l’ajustement manuel du point en tournant la bague de mise au point
après une mise au point calée automatiquement en AF.
z Selon le boîtier il se peut qu'il ne soit pas possible d'utiliser la
fonction de priorité à la mise au point manuelle (MO). Vous trouverez
des informations détaillées sur la fonction de priorité à la mise au
point manuelle dans le mode d'emploi de votre objectif.
z Avec certains boîtiers, le bouton Fonction AF ne fonctionne pas.
Mise au point manuelle
Pour la mise au point manuelle, réglez le sélecteur de mode de mise au
point de l'objectif sur "MF" ou réglez le mode de mise au point du
boîtier sur MF.
FONCTION OS (OPTICAL STABILIZATION)
La stabilisation optique (OS) et la stabilisation de l’appareil ne peuvent
pas être utilisées en même temps. Il est nécessaire de désactiver l'une
des fonctions de stabilisation.
EMBASE POUR TREPIED
Le convertisseur de monture est équipé d’une embase pour trépied. Il
est possible de la détacher à l'aide d'une clé hexagonale (fournie). (fig.2)
z Veillez à ne pas égarer les vis retirées.
z Assurez-vous d'utiliser la clé hexagonale fournie pour fixer l'embase.
Il y a un risque d’endommager le convertisseur de monture avec
d'autres outils qui pourraient serrer les vis trop fortement.
VIS DE FIXATION
(POUR SIGMA SA-L)
Il est possible de renforcer la fixation du MC-21 à la monture L du
boîtier SIGMA avec la vis fournie. Cela évitera le moindre jeu et
améliorera la stabilité de l'appareil et de l'objectif. A l'aide du tournevis
(fourni), fixez le convertisseur de monture avec la vis (fournie). (fig.3)
z Lorsque vous manipulez la vis, veillez à ne pas la faire tomber dans
de l'appareil.
PRECAUTIONS
Le convertisseur de monture MC-21 bénéficie d’une construction
résistant aux poussières et aux projections d’eau. Bien que ce produit
puisse être utilisé sous une pluie légère, il n'est pas étanche. Lorsque
le mécanisme interne du produit est endommagé par l'eau, il est
possible qu’il soit irréparable.

BEVESTIGING
Leest u alstublieft de gebruiksaanwijzing van uw camera voordat u de
Mount Converter MC-21 bevestigt.
Wanneer u uw camera heeft aangezet, zal het LED-lampje op de Mount
Converter MC-21 voor ongeveer 3 seconden branden. Het LED-lampje
zorgt ervoor dat u eenvoudig kunt zien of het bevestigde objectief
compatibel is of niet. Daarnaast kunt u ook zien of de data van de Mount
Converter MC-21 geüpdatet moet worden. Indien het lampje niet brandt,
dan is het objectief niet compatibel met de Mount Converter MC-21.

Handmatige Focus

STABILISATIE
Optische
stabilisatie
(OS)

in-body
stabilisatie

niet
tegelijkertijd
worden gebruikt. Daarom is het noodzakelijk om een van de stabilisatie
functies wordt uitgeschakeld.
LENSSTEUN
De mount converter is voorzien van een lenssteun, welke met behulp
van de inbussleutel (meegeleverd) kan worden verwijderd. (fig.2)
z Bewaar de verwijderde schroeven op een veilige plek.
z Gebruik de meegeleverde inbussleutel om de lensvoet te bevestigen.
Indien u ander gereedschap gebruikt, kan het zijn dat de converter
wordt beschadigd.
SCHROEVEN
(VOOR SIGMA SA-L)
Met behulp van de bijgeleverde schroeven, kunt u de MC-21 aan SIGMA
camera’s
met
L-mount
bevestigen.
Dit
zorgt
voor
een
verbeterde
stabiliteit
of zowel de camera’s en het objectief. Schroef de mount converter met
de bijgeleverde schroef vast. (fig.3)
z Voorkom dat u de schroef in de camera laat vallen zodra u deze
verwijdert of plaatst.
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
De Mount Converter MC-21 is voorzien van een stofwerende en
spatwaterdichte constructie. Ondanks dat dit product onder lichte
regenachtige omstandigheden gebruikt kan worden, is deze niet
waterdicht. Wanneer deze wordt blootgesteld aan vocht en/of zand,
kan het zijn dat dit onderdeel niet meer gerepareerd kan worden.

ENFOQUE
Autofocus
Para
usar

automático,
ajuste
el
interruptor

modo

enfoque
en el objetivo a “AF” y configure el modo de enfoque en la cámara en AF.

posible desacoplarla con la llave Allen hexagonal (suministrada). (Fig.2)
z Para evitar perder los tornillos de sujeción, por favor asegúrese de
guardarlos en un lugar seguro.
z Asegúrese de usar la llave Allen hexagonal suministrada para acoplar
la zapata. Existe la posibilidad de dañar el convertidor de montura si
usa otras herramientas que podrían apretar los tornillos en exceso.
TORNILLOS DE SUJECIÓN
(PARA SIGMA SA-L)
Con el tornillo suministrado, es posible fijar el MC-21 a las cámaras
SIGMA con montura L. Evitará las ligeras oscilaciones y mejorará la
estabilidad de la cámara y el objetivo. Utilizando el destornillador
(suministrado), por favor fije el convertidor de montura mediante el
tornillo (suministrado). (Fig.3)
z Al colocar el tornillo, sea cuidadoso para evitar que caiga dentro del
cuerpo de la cámara.
PRECAUCIONES
Mount Converter MC-21 tiene una construcción a prueba de polvo y
salpicaduras. A pesar de que este producto se puede utilizar bajo la
lluvia ligera, no indica que sea a prueba de agua. Se requiere una
atención adicional cuando es utilizado cerca del agua. Cuando el
mecanismo interno del producto está dañado por el agua, puede que
no sea posible repararlo.

MC-21 har en damm- och stänksäker konstruktion och även om
den kan användas i lätt regn så är det inte vattentätt, var försiktig.
Om den invändiga mekanismen blir vattenskadad är det oftast inte
möjligt att reparera.
