• Only use butane and propane gas, or a
mixture of both
• Only use the recommended type of gas
cylinder.
• The gas regulator and gas hoses must
comply with the applicable regulations
and local standards.
• The outlet pressure of the gas regulator
must comply with the requirements for
the relevant gas category. Never use any
other type of gas regulator than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the control panel, burners and air
passages clean. Clean if necessary.
• Do not block ventilation holes in the
cylinder cover. Keep ventilation openings
in the cylinder cover clean.
• Do not store or use petrol or other
ammable substances on or about the
product.
• Check the product immediately if:
– Small pops are heard from the
burner during operation. A weak pop
when the burner goes out, however,
is quite normal.
– A gas smell while the gas ame tip
turns yellow.
• Immediately turn o the gas supply in the
event of gas leaks. Extinguish all ames.
• Do not use the product before xing a
leak, and before all connections have
been rechecked for leakage.
• Check at regular intervals that the gas
regulator seal is correctly tted and tight
by checking for leakage.
• Inspect and replace the gas hose as
described in the instructions.
• Make sure that the gas hose does not
come into contact with hot surfaces – it
can melt and start to leak, which can
cause a re and/or explosion.
• The product must not be used in enclosed
areas – this could result in personal injury
or death.
• Do not use the product indoors, as this
would risk personal injury or property
damage.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Never modify or repair the product in any
way – risk of personal injury and/or
material damage.
• Only use parts and accessories
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not use the product if it is damaged,
or worn.
• Check all the connections for leakage with
soapy water before use. Never do a
leakage test with a naked ame.
• Use an approved gas cylinder of 5, 11 or 33
kg. Connect and/or replace gas cylinders
outdoors. Do not smoke when connecting
or replacing the gas cylinder, and keep it
away from sparks and naked ames.
• Make sure the gas cylinder is stable and
cannot tip over when the product is in use.
• The gas cylinder must stand upright with
the regulator facing up when in use.
• Make sure not bend or twist the hose
when the product is in use.
• Keep the gas container at a safe distance
from sources of heat when the product is
in use. Make sure that the gas cylinder
and hose do not come into contact with
the surface you are working on.
• Never leave the product unattended when
it is lit. The product and the surrounding
area get very hot when in use – risk of
burn injuries. Avoid contact with hot parts
and wait until they have cooled before
transporting and/or putting into storage.
• Avoid inhaling any smoke or fumes
produced when in use.
• Store the product in a well ventilated, dry
and dust-free place, out of the reach of
children when not in use.
• Incorrect installation, adjustment,
modication, servicing or maintenance
can result in the risk of personal injury
and/or material damage.
• Keep children at a safe distance from the
product.
• Never use the product unless all guards
and safety devices are installed.
