Preparing for first use
Preparation and materials required
The items described below are not supplied with the device.
This information and dimensions are given for guidance
only and may not be appropriate in all cases. The quality of
materials required should be selected to suit the situation at
the installation site.
You will need:
- 8 batteries 1.5 V type LR6 (mignon / AA, alkaline)
(not included) for the power supply to the control unit
and the external siren.
- A pencil for marking the mounting points.
- A cross-head screwdriver for mounting the device using
the mounting screws and dowels.
- A hammer-action drill (and drill bit) for mounting the
device using the mounting screws and dowels.
- A hand drill / electronic screwdriver for drilling out the
ø 2 mm mounting holes
p
on the rear of the housing
o
of the motion detector.
- Ear protection.
Positioning
Control unit
o The control unit must be positioned in dry areas inside
buildings only.
o Ensure that the position is easily reached but not im-
mediately noticeable.
External siren
o Position the external siren in a position as sheltered
from the weather as possible outside the building or in
a dry place inside the building.
o Ensure that it can be easily heard but is not easily
accessible to an intruder.
Motion detector
o Position the motion detector in a dry place inside the
building at a height of approx. 1.5 to 2 m.
o Ensure that the normal range (approx. 6 m) of the motion
detector covers an area that an intruder could use (see Fig. I).
The motion detector reacts to movement of sources of
heat within the detection range. Select this range so
that false alarms caused by pets and other changing
heat sources e.g. emitters of heat or light (e.g. solar or
halogen radiation) cannot occur. The range of the motion
detector depends on temperature, size and direction of
motion of the object. In general the sensor detects motion
transverse to the sensor better than motion directly to-
wards or away from it. If possible you should select a
corner position for the motion detector with no windows
or heaters in its detection range.

Käyttö- ja turvallisuusohjeita
Johdanto
Lue käyttöohje huolellisesti kokonaan läpi ennen laitteen
käyttöönottoa ja käännä tällöin kuvalliset sivut esiin. Käyt-
töohje kuuluu tähän tuotteeseen ja sisältää tärkeitä ohjeita
käyttöönottoa ja käsittelyä varten. Huomioi aina kaikki tur-
vallisuusohjeet. Tarkasta ennen käyttöönottoa, onko kaikki
osat oikein asennettu. Jos sinulla on kysyttävää, tai olet
epävarma laitteen käytössä, kysy ammattihenkilökunnalta
tai ota yhteyttä maassasi olevaan huoltopaikkaan. Säilytä
tämä käyttöohje huolellisesti. Toimita kaikki mukana
toimitetut asiakirjat laitteen mukana, jos luovutat
laitteen edelleen kolmannelle osapuolelle.
Määräystenmukainen käyttö
Compact-hälytinjärjestelmä CA 616 on suunniteltu erityisesti
pienehköjä kohteita varten, kuten esim. yhden huoneen
asunnot, mökit, asuntovaunut tai autotallit. Paristokäyttöisenä
(8 x paristo 1,5 V, tyyppiä LR6 (Mignon / AA, alkali) (eivät sisälly
toimitukseen)) laite soveltuu myös ilman sähköliitäntää
oleviin kohteisiin. Ohjausyksikkö voidaan ohjelmoida käyt-
täjäkoodilla (yksi - kymmenpaikkainen). Ohjausyksikkö ja
liikeilmaisin on tarkoitettu käytettäväksi ainoastaan kuivissa
sisätiloissa. Ulkoisen sireenin äänenvoimakkuus on sopiva
käytettäväksi sisä- tai ulkoalueella. Laite on sallittu vain
yksityiseen käyttöön. Kaikki muu käyttö tai laitteen muutos
ei ole määräystenmukaista ja aiheuttaa kohonneita onnet-
tomuusvaaroja. Valmistaja ei ota mitään vastuuta vahingoista,
jotka aiheutuvat määystenvastaisesta tai virheellise käys.

ota käyttöön vaurioituneita laitteita. Ota tarvittaessa
yhteys huoltopaikkaan.
Jätä korjaaminen vain pätevän ja koulutetun ammatti-
henkilökunnan suoritettavaksi! Muuten epäasiallinen
käyttö johtaa vahingoittumisiin ja takuun menetykseen!
Kohdista liikeilmaisin niin, ettei ilmaisimen tunnistusal-
ueella ole mitään lämmönlähteitä, kuten kuumen-
nuskappaleita tai poistoilma-aukkoja! Toimintavalmis

Käyttöönotto
Alkuvalmistelu ja tarvittava materiaali
Mainittu materiaali ei sisälly toimituslaajuuteen. Tällöin on
kysymys ei-sitovista tiedoista ja arvoista perehdyttämis-
tarkoituksessa. Materiaalin laatu mukautuu yksilöllisten
paikallisten olosuhteiden mukaan.
Tarvitset:
- 8 paristoa 1,5 V, tyyppiä LR6 (Mignon / AA, alkali) (ei silly
toimitukseen) ohjausyksikön ja ulkopuolisen sireenin
virransaantiin.
- Kynä asennuspaikkojen merkitsemiseen.
- Ristipääruuvimeisseli asennusta varten kiinnitysruuvien
ja ohjaustappien kanssa.
- Iskuporakone (sekä pora) asennusta varten kiinnitysru-
uvien ja ohjaustappien kanssa.

- Kuulosuojain.
Asettaminen paikalleen
helposti murtautujan ulottuvilla.
Liikeilmaisin
o Aseta liikeilmaisin paikoilleen kuivalla sisäalueella n.
1,5 - 2 m:n korkeuteen.
o Huolehdi siitä, että tämä käsittää alueen (n. 6 m), jota
murtautuja arvatenkin voisi käyttää (ks. Kuva I).
Liikeilmaisin reagoi lämmönlähteiden liikkeeseen tun-
nistusalueella. Valitse tämä alue niin, ettei voisi syntyä
mitään eläinten tai muiden muuttuvien lämmönlähtei-
den aiheuttamia virhehälytyksiä, kuten esim. lämmit-
yksen tai valonsäteilyn (esim. auringon- tai halogeen-
isäde). Liikeilmaisimen ulottuvuus on riippuvainen
lämpötilasta, kohteiden koosta ja liikesuunnasta. Peri-
aatteessa ilmaisin tunnistaa poikittaisen liikkeen ilmai-
simen suhteen paremmin kuin liikkeen suoraan ilmai-
simeen tai tältä pois. Valitse mahdollisuuksien mukaan
nurkka-asennuspaikka, missä ei ole ikkunoita eikä
lämmityslaitteita liikeilmaisimen tunnistusalueella.

kaasu-, sähkö-, vesi- tai puhelinjohtoja. Kaasujohtojen
vaurioituminen aiheuttaa räjähdys- ja hengenvaaran.
Vaurioituneet sähköjohdot voivat aiheuttaa sähköiskun
ja siten hengenvaaran. Vaurioituneet vesijohdot voivat
aiheuttaa aineellisia vahinkoja. Käytä johtojen paikan-
tamiseen vastaavia hakulaitteita tai pyyasiantuntijan
apua.
Vihje! Varmistu ennen ilmaisimen ja ulkoisen sireenin
asennusta, että kaapeli on tarpeeksi pitkä sovitettaville
matkoille. Pidä huolta siitä, ettet vedä kaapelia terävien
kulmien yli, purista tai kiristä sitä. Sijoita kaapeli murtau-
tujalle mahdollisimman luoksepääsemättömästi. Käytä
