Lesen Sie diese Sicherheitshinweise durch und befolgen Sie diese. Das

Nichtbeachten kann zu einem Brand und / oder Personen- und Sach-

- Dieses Produkt enthält einen fest verbauten Lithium-Ionen-Akku

und eine fest verbaute Lithium-Knopfzelle. Fest verbaute

Batterien dürfen nur durch Fachpersonal ausgetauscht bzw.

entnommen werden.

- Verwenden Sie zum Auaden ausschließlich das mitgelieferte

USB-Kabel in Verbindung mit einem geeigneten Ladegerät

(Netzteil 5V DC, Ladestrom mindestens 500 mA)! Lassen Sie das

Schloss während des Auadens nicht unbeaufsichtigt!

- Ein beschädigter Akku kann Reizungen der Atemwege, der Haut

und der Augen verursachen. Spülen Sie in diesem Fall die

betroene Stelle sofort mit Wasser und suchen Sie einen Arzt

auf. Die in dem Akku enthaltene Flüssigkeit ist brennbar!

Dieses Fahrradschloss setzt einem Dieb nicht nur mechanische Sicherheit

entgegen, sondern löst bei aktiviertem Überwachungsmodus auch einen

lautstarken Alarm aus, sobald sich jemand an Ihrem Fahrrad zu schaen

macht.

Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Bedienung des Schlosses ist ein Bluetooth® -

fähiges Smartphone sowie die ABUS SmartX App erforderlich.

Verwenden Sie dieses Schloss ausschließlich an Fahrrädern und nicht an

Motorrädern, Motorrollern etc.

- Der Akku darf nur geladen werden, wenn das Gehäuse des

Schlosskörpers unbeschädigt ist. Weist der Schlosskörper sicht-

bare Beschädigungen auf, z.B. Risse, Löcher, darf der Akku

nicht geladen werden!

- Lagern und benutzen Sie das Produkt nicht in Bereichen, in de-

nen die Temperatur -20°C unterschreiten oder +40°C überschrei-

ten kann. Setzen Sie das Produkt nicht für längere Zeit direkter

Sonneneinstrahlung aus!

- Versuchen Sie niemals, das Produkt zu önen und den Akku zu

entnehmen. Es besteht die Gefahr einer Beschädigung

(Ausgasen des Akkus, Kurzschluss, etc.)

- Prüfen Sie das Schloss mindestens einmal im Jahr auf Beschädi-

gungen. Weist der Schlosskörper sichtbare Beschädigungen auf,

z.B. Risse, Löcher, darf das Schloss nicht mehr verwendet werden.

Die Seite des Schlosses, an der sich die Ladebuchse bendet, ist durch

einen kleinen erhabenen Punkt gekennzeichnet.

Nehmen Sie die Kappe stets von Hand ohne Verwendung von

Werkzeugen ab (zur Vermeidung von Beschädigungen der

Ladebuchse)!

3. Erst-Inbetriebnahme

Im Auslieferzustand ist das Schloss verriegelt und bendet sich im

Transportmodus* (→ 5.1).

Damit Sie das Schloss nutzen können, muss zunächst der Akku vollständig

geladen werden.

Bitte beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise auf den Seiten 5 - 6.

SmartX

- Laden Sie die ABUS SmartX App herunter, installieren Sie sie

und folgen Sie den Anweisungen in der App bis zum Scannen

des QR-Codes der mitgelieferten ABUS Codekarte.

- Bewahren Sie die Codekarte unbedingt auch nach dem

Einlernvorgang an einem sicheren Ort auf! Sie benötigen die

Codekarte für Soware-Updates, bei Verlust des Smartphones

sowie als Eigentumsnachweis bei Gewährleistungsansprüchen

und Reparatur. Geben Sie die Karte nicht an Dritte weiter.

- Zum elektronischen Betrieb des Schlosses muss die

Bluetooth® Funktion am Smartphone aktiviert sein. Das

Smartphone muss eine Netzverbindung besitzen und darf sich

nicht im Flugmodus benden.

SmartX App Während des Einrichtungsprozesses der App werden Sie unter anderem

dazu aufgefordert, den Schiebeschalter zu betätigen.

Halten Sie den Schiebeschalter in der geschobenen Position bis der

Signalton (= Quittungston) ertönt.

5.1 Transportmodus / Überwachungsmodus

1. Smartphone mit funktionsfähiger SmartX App in Reichweite

(ca. 2-5 m)

2. Schiebeschalter betätigen (und halten)

Bendet sich im Transportmodus bei Betätigung des Schiebe-

schalters kein berechtigtes Smartphone in der Nähe bzw. ist

die Bluetooth® Funktion deaktiviert, bleibt das Schloss verrie-

gelt.

Im Überwachungsmodus wird in diesem Fall bei Bewegung

Alarm ausgelöst!

5.2 Önen des Schlosses

Im Transportmodus bietet das Schloss ausschließlich mechani-

sche Sicherheit. Es ndet keine Kommunikation / Suche nach

berechtigtem Smartphone statt. Bewegungen am Schloss lösen

keinen Alarm aus.

Im Überwachungsmodus bietet das Schloss zusätzlich

elektronische Überwachung auf Erschütterung / Bewegung und

löst bei Erkennen lautstarken Alarm aus.

Im Auslieferzustand sowie automatisch nach jedem Verriegeln des Schlos-

ses ist der Transportmodus aktiviert.

5.4 Alarmauslösung

Wird im Überwachungsmodus Bewegung am Schloss detektiert,

ohne dass ein berechtigtes Smartphone in Reichweite ist, ertönt

ein Voralarm.

Werden danach weiterhin noch stärkere Bewegungen

detektiert, löst der Hauptalarm aus (Dauer 15 Sekunden).

Bei weiterer Bewegung startet der Vorgang erneut.

1. Bügel in den Schlosskörper stecken

2. Schloss verriegelt automatisch, Bestätigung durch Tonfolge

3. Transportmodus ist nach 5 Sekunden aktiviert, Bestätigung durch

Signalton (tiefe Töne)

4. Um in den Überwachungsmodus zu gelangen, innerhalb der 5 Sekunden

nach Stecken des Bügels den Schiebeschalter betätigen (und halten);

Bestätigung durch Signalton (hohe Töne)

5.3 Schließen des Schlosses 6.

Wählen Sie einen geeigneten Montageort für den Halter an Ihrem Fahrrad.

Bitte beachten Sie auch, dass sich das Schloss speziell im Rahmendreieck

7. Akku laden

Den Ladestand des Akkus können Sie in der SmartX App aufrufen. Laden

Sie Ihr Schloss auf, sobald die App Sie dazu auordert.

Mit einem leeren Akku bietet das Schloss weiterhin mechanische Sicher-

heit; Sie können es jedoch nicht önen und schließen!

Laden Sie den Akku auch vor einer längeren Phase der Nichtbenutzung

des Schlosses auf (z.B. Winterpause).

Safety information regarding the lithium-ion batteries

Please read and observe these safety instructions. Non-observance of

these instructions could lead to re, injury to persons and/or device

damage!

- This product contains built-in lithium-ion batteries. Built-in

batteries may only be replaced or removed by qualied

personnel.

- Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Children could

put batteries in their mouths and swallow them. This can cause

serious harm to their health. Seek immediate medical attention

in this event.

- Keep packaging material away from children! Danger of

suocation!

- Do not use or charge the product in areas with a risk of explosion,

e.g. due to ammable liquids, gases or dust.

- Never burn the product. The battery could explode in the re.

This would also release toxic substances.

- Only use the USB cable provided and a suitable charging device

(5V DC power supply unit, charging current at least 500 mA) to

charge the device. Do not leave the lock unattended while it is

charging!

- A damaged battery could irritate your airways, skin and eyes. In

the event of contact, immediately rinse the aected area with

water and seek medical attention. The liquid inside the battery

is ammable.

damaged. If there is visible damage on the lock body such as

cracks or holes, the battery must not be charged.

could reach below -20°C or above +40°C. Do not expose the

- Never attempt to open the product and remove the battery. This

could lead to damage (battery outgassing, short circuit, etc.)

General safety information

cleaning agents to clean the lock.

- Check the lock for damage at least once a year. If there is visible

3. First commissioning

When delivered, the lock is closed and in transport mode* (→ 5.1).

In order to use the lock, the battery must rst be fully charged.

Please observe the safety information on pages 20 and 21.

instructions in the app until you have scanned the QR code

on the ABUS code card provided.

- It is imperative to keep the code card in a safe place even

aer completing the setup. You need the code card for so-

ware updates, if you lose your smartphone, and for proof of

ownership for matters related to warranty claims and repair.

Do not give the card to third parties.

- Bluetooth® must be switched on in your smartphone to

operate the lock electronics. The smartphone must be

connected to a network and not be in ight mode.

5.1 Transport mode / monitoring mode

While setting up the app, you will be prompted among other things, to

actuate the slide switch.

Hold the slide switch in the pushed position until the signal tone

(= confirmation tone) sounds.

In transport mode, the lock only provides mechanical security.

It does not communicate or search for the authorised smart-

phone. Moving the lock will not trigger the alarm.

In monitoring mode, the lock additionally provides electronic

monitoring for shock/movement and triggers a loud alarm upon

detection.

When delivered, and automatically aer locking the lock, transport

mode will be activated.

If, while in transport mode, there is no authorised smartphone

in the vicinity or the Bluetooth® function is deactivated when

the slide switch is activated, the lock remains closed.

In monitoring mode, this event would trigger the alarm when

movement occurs.

If lock movement is detected in monitoring mode and the

authorised smartphone is not in range, a pre-alarm will

sound.

If strong movement is still detected aerwards, the main

alarm will trigger (15-second duration). The process

repeats if movement continues.

Select a suitable location to mount the bracket on your bicycle.

Please ensure that the lock is able to t in smoothly, particularly within the

frame triangle. Installation and operation instructions USKF.

Danger to life by falling out during

transport by car or trailer

If the lock is in the bracket when

transporting your bicylce with a car or

trailer, it can fall out and injure or kill

other road users.

• Always remove the lock from the

bracket during this transport.

Danger of material damage due to

falling out

The lock can fall out of the holder

and be damaged if the bracket is not

mounted correctly.

• Mount the bracket on your bicycle

so that the opening for inserting

the lock is facing upwards. 8. Legal information

7. Charging the battery

You can view the battery charge status on the Smart X app. Charge your

lock as soon as the app prompts you to do so.

If the battery is depleted, the lock will still provide mechanical security,

but you will be unable to open and close it!

Charge the battery even before a longer period of non-use of the lock

(e.g. winter break).

Disposal

It is your responsibility to delete all stored personal data prior to disposal of

the product. This product contains valuable raw materials.

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with the

applicable legal requirements. Electrical appliances, rechargeable batteries

and batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Disposal must

electronic equipment (WEEE), or Directive 2006/66/EC on batteries and accumu-

Batteries must be removed from electrical appliances and disposed of sepa-

rately before disposal. Dispose of the packaging according to type. Separate

the cardboard, foil and plastic elements for recycling. Please contact the local

authority responsible for disposal if you have any queries. You can obtain

information on collection points for your old appliances, for example, from

the local municipal or city administration, the local waste disposal companies,

or your specialist dealer.

ABUS products are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with

applicable regulations with great care. The warranty exclusively covers faults

that are caused by material or manufacturing defects. If a material or man-

ufacturing defect can be proven, the product will be repaired or replaced at

the discretion of the warrantor. In such cases, the warranty ends with the

termination of the original warranty period. Any further claims are expressly

excluded.

ABUS assumes no liability for defects or damage that has been caused by ex-

ternal inuences (e.g. transport, external forces), improper use, normal wear

and tear or non-compliance with this operating and installation instructions

document. If a warranty claim is asserted, the product must be returned with

the original receipt with date of purchase and a brief written description of

the fault.

- Ce produit contient des batteries lithium-ion. Les batteries xes

ne peuvent être remplacées ou retirées que par un personnel

qualié.

- Les batteries doivent être conservées hors de portée des enfants.

Les enfants risqueraient de mettre les batteries dans leur bouche

et de les avaler. Cela peut entraîner de graves atteintes à la

santé. Dans ce cas, consultez immédiatement un médecin !

- Ne laissez pas les emballages à portée des enfants! Risque

d‘asphyxie !

- Ne stockez et n’utilisez pas le produit dans des environnements

dans lesquels il existe un risque d’explosion, par ex. à cause de

liquides inammables, de gaz ou de poussière.

- Ne brûlez jamais le produit ! La batterie peut exploser dans le

- La batterie peut uniquement être chargée si le boîtier du corps

de l’antivol n’est pas endommagé. Si le corps de l’antivol pré-

sente des dommages visibles, par ex. des ssures ou des trous,

la batterie ne doit pas être chargée !

- Ne stockez et n’utilisez pas le produit dans des endroits où la

température peut être inférieure à -20 °C ou supérieure à +40 °C.

N’exposez pas le produit au rayonnement direct du soleil pour

une période prolongée !

- N’essayez en aucun cas d’ouvrir le produit et de retirer la batte-

rie. Il existe un risque d’endommagement (échappement de gaz

de la batterie, court-circuit, etc.)

Consignes de sécurité générales

- Pour le nettoyage de l’antivol, n’utilisez pas de nettoyeur haute

pression (classe IP 44) ni de produits de nettoyage agressifs.

Ne graissez les extrémités de l'anse qu'avec parcimonie et

n'utilisez pas d'huile ou de substances huileuses !

- Vériez au moins une fois par an la présence de dommages sur

l’antivol. Si le corps de l’antivol présente des dommages

visibles, par ex. des ssures ou des trous, l’antivol ne doit plus

être utilisé.
